Would probably eat here at least once a month. Without a doubt one of the best hidden gems in Dublin when it comes to Italian restaurants. Anything on the menu is worth a try, especially the prawns to start are a must. Staff are excellent and always in great form. Nothing bad to say about this place.

I was here about two weekends ago and I was very pleased overall. I had the prawn coctail to start which in fairness for the price of it was not a whole lot to shout about. Thankfully, I was extremely please with my main. I had the beef, and it was like cutting through butter. SImply divine. Service superb, and I did like the atmosphere of the restaurant. Is not a cheap restaurant to eat in, about €400.00 for 4 people, but that was inclduing wine etc, but well worth a visit. One down side is that after eating in the restaurant, their stand at taste of dublin did them no justice whatsoever. I plan to visit again soon!

Eat here quite a bit due to convenience. The food is always good, no complaints, but they really need to change the menu. Now opting for other pubs for dinner in the locality as more selection – there are no chicken dishes on the menu apart from tenders, and they do not do steak sandwiches or anything either. Would use a lot more if there was a more varied menu.

I have eaten here three times now and I have enjoyed the food immensely. I always get the fillet steak. The first time I was there, I asked for my steak medium. It arrived and it was burnt on the outside which ruined the whole taste. I said it to the waitor and he did not seem to care which I was surprised about. Other than that everything else was amazing – I would recommend the seafood platter to start as you get a little bit of everything. If you are ordering a table make sure that you do not get the window seats they are not the best. Get a booth if it is available. It is rated here on MP as €€ but it would be a little more expensive than that. This is the type of Restaurant that Dalkey needed!!

Had dinner here on Mothers Day. I used to go quite a lot but had not been in a while. Was happy to see that the food was even better than ever, and quite valuable for what you are getting. The staff greeting you are also very friendly. I have the corn fed chicken and it was great, and a lovely glass of wine. The mother was very happy too! I will be back again shortly!

Nothing to say other than amazing… You get to have a little bit of everything and a great place to go if you do not know what you feel like. Only annoyance is that they do not take reservations – even from their regular customers which is really annoying, but otherwise a must!!
(and try the steak sandbo tapas – amazing)

Went to Hugo’s about three weeks ago and I was not disappointed. The food was amazing, the service was great and it was a little bit expensive, but well worth it. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and great location. I had the venison which was the best that I had ever had. On that particular night with the amount of people walking in looking for a table, they could have filled the restaurant again ten times! Only one small complaint would be that the matradee was quite rude, and never smiled but other than that a great spot.

I ate here a few Saturdays ago on a match night.
The food was okay but the service was awful.
The meal came to nearly over 340eu for four of us and we did not even get a "thank you" on leaving.
Was disappointed as I had heard so many good reviews about the place, but this is not what I found.

One of the best restaurants in Dublin......
Food amazing, service unreal!
Unfortunately you cannot make a reservation, but well worth the wait!!

I have eaten here a few times now and have never been disappointed..
the last time I was hear, they did not have my favourite, the steak sandwich on the menu, I said it to the waitress, and they were very obliging in cooking it for me anyway.
service is great and great location!
