My friend bought a voucher for two courses and beer here, I thought the atmosphere very much lacking. The food was very basic and the service was slow. I had been here once before and I didnt like the food that time either. I doubt I will be back.

Tried the new Dame Street location with a voucher for two burgers and sides. As usual the burgers were lovely and very filling. Onion rings were nice with chips and dips as they came with the meal as a side. The chef forgot the bacon on my boyfriends burger but came out to the table and sorted it out for us before we had even noticed. I agree non alcoholic drinks are over priced but iced tap water suited us nicely before we retired next door for a beer or three. Recommended.

Had a voucher for two lunch specials with coffee and tea and came here last Saturday. We had booked a table for 1pm but when we got there the staff were very busy with a large party that had come in and I found the service to be lacking. The food was nice enough. I had the bruchetta and the chicken stir fry which was very nice. But we waited for ages for our table to be cleared and offered coffee and the waiter only came down to us after I went up to him and asked him. They do good voucher deals so I might be back.

I went to the Sth Anne Street store with a voucher last Friday evening and got two burritos and salsa fries. it was really two much food for two people. Salsa fries had too much topping and some white sauce that wasnt great. Burritos are very nice as usual but my favourite store is Wexford Street, as they seem to get everything right more often. It is a new store though, so things might improve as they settle into business. Good location and good food for the most part.

Used to love this place as Mona Lisa and waited a while to try out as Gallahers. Came here for a meal last Friday with a friend, and the wine price has gone up so I just had a glass. The burger was really good and not burnt and my friend said her pasta was lovely, even better than Mona Lisa. I used to like the special offers they used to have, its much pricier these days, but its still a pleasant spot. Im sure Ill be back, maybe just not as often.

Tuesday night is Buy one get one free on Pizza and Pasta in Pasta Fresca, so my boyfriend and I decided to try out this restaurant for the first time because of this offer. The pizza at 12' is very substantial and absolutely gorgeous to eat, my spaghetti and meatballs was just ok, I have had better, but it was nice nonetheless. The service was good, and the glass of wine is a decent size. Would have liked a jug of water on the table but they don't do that there, I was told, and the waitress offered me topups without any problem. Nice spot, Im sure I will be back again on a tuesday....Recommended.

Came here for a spot of dinner before a night on the tiles. Curry is very nice and lots of choices for very little money. Starters and sides are very large portions. You could easily have a couple of side dishes instead of a main if you fancied something a bit different. This place is really close to where I live and very handy for shopping so I am sure I will be back very soon. Recommended.

Possibly one of the best all you can eat chinese buffets around, because of the sheer variety of dishes, it's certainly one of the biggest on offer. I enjoyed my food, but I dont choose this type of cuisine very much. Its a nice spot for a quick lunch but you can feel that you are being rushed I think and I dont like that. Will probably be back, but not very soon.

Had a groupon voucher which had EXPIRED!! I rang to explain the story to the manager and once he had checked with groupon he was happy to book me and my boyfriend in for an eight o clock dinner on a thursday night. Service was excellent, very understated but very attentive, food was delicious, and we ended up spending a few quid on a bottle of wine and some side dishes so it was a win win for us and a win win for them. Love the location, I used to live just one block away growing up, so I am sure I will be back. Recommended!

Was supposed to come here a few weeks back but couldn't make it on the night....decided to stop by for a quick lunch before the gym on a saturday afternoon as I wanted to try the concept of picking my own food. I got a very healthy low cost meal and all for only €5! Not to keen on paying €16 for the dinner option but its definitely a no brainer for a healthy lunch. Recommended!

I arrived here straight after work and my dining companion wasn't due for another half hour but the waiter had no problem bringing me a bottle of house wine and letting me wait for him. They have changed the €15 menu, I used to like the jack daniels chicken. However I loved the potato skins and they were able to make the chicken sandwich exactly how I wanted it, with no bread, with spanish rice instead of fries which was delicious. My boyfriend had the fried mozzarella and the mushroom onion mozzarella burger and was stuffed after it. No room for dessert but with tea coffee and service it was €51 all in. Nice night out; good service; recommended.

Like other reviewers on menupages I had a voucher for a tex mex platter and five coronas, but I was a little disappointed there were no chicken wings as promised. Neither my dining companion or myself could eat pork ribs and I was really looking forward to chicken wings. But the mini fajitas and the nachos were lovely and the veg burritos were just ok. I tried a lovely new craft beer called Dubliner which was on special for €3.30 and it was really lovely, like a light weissbier. Nice spot, very popular for saturday night drinks, good spot to make an impression, I would imagine.

Wow this is a busy spot for drinks after work on a Friday! Good job I booked a table through menupages! I hadnt been for the early bird before but there were plenty of choices and two courses plus coffee for €13.95 was a good price. I had the bruchetta and the chicken sandwich and my companion had the soup and the lamb burger. All the food was lovely. They have an offer for a bottle of house wine half price if you order the early bird but I had already ordered a pitcher of beer for €10 before I noticed. Well worth a visit. Recommended!

Came for an after work meal to exchange Christmas presents with my sister and her kids and ended up waiting for nearly an hour because she was late. The staff here are very concerned about you ordering an alcoholic drink with no food because its against their licence agreement. When we all ordered we had fish and chips x 2, pizza and an order of chicken wings. No complaints about the wings, the pizza didn't have a lot of cheese on it, which I was surprised about cos last time I was here there was loads. Fish a little too much batter. Chips were gorgeous though. Chocolate fudge cake and ice cream for dessert went down a treat. Nice atmosphere and not too crowded. Recommended.

I go here the first Friday of every month with a sizeable group and the staff are always very friendly. Their decor must have been done during Celtic Tiger era because it looks to have cost a bomb, but is a little dated now. I like it though and have often popped in for a one on one with a friend when not in a group. Havent' had the chance to try out the kitchen yet, but if they have any special offers on the menu or they do a voucher special I am sure I will make the effort. Great spot for Saturday night drinks or a few quick ones after work on Friday. Went here last Saturday after a meal out in town and arrived around 10pm. Place was buzzing but we managed to get two tables for our group as I think some folks had started to leave for the clubs. Very friendly attentive barstaff and the customers are friendly too! Engaging in banter while you wait to be served. One of my regular bars and easy to get home from cos the Luas is right outside. Recommended!!

Had an opportunity to go to Cork on Friday night and stayed in Jury's Inn. Decided to eat at the restaurant because the menu had some good choices and wasnt too badly priced. I was disappointed with the food though. I ordered a sirloin steak medium and my boyfriend ordered the burger well done. The waitress got it wrong and my steak was extremely well done and very tough, my boyfriends burger was medium. The manager said the waitress had got it wrong and offered us a free drink as compensation.....this didnt really compensate me for the experience of eating a horrible steak and paying €19.95 for it. Definitely not recommended.

It's been a while since I stopped by Wagamama in Stephens Green and I used to come in here several times a week. Ive stayed away I think because their lunch special is only Mon to Fri 12-3 and that doesnt usually suit me. Also they don't really engage in voucher deals. I stopped by yesterday for a lunch special and was a little disappointed with the service, I was there at the beginning of lunchtime and it took ages to bring my drinks over, by which time my green tea had gone cold. I had yaki soba which was a noodle dish with prawn and chicken and it was very substantial. Glass of rose wine. I got offered a number of discount coupons from a team member on the street nearby so I am sure I will be back to use those up.

The bartenders in the Woolshed are all very trendy looking and friendly and they like it when you order a pitcher of beer or cocktails so the service is always good. However the wait staff can be slow to clear tables and if you want anything else you usually have to chase them down. When I came here one Monday evening recently I had a big basket of chicken wings and a couple of beers and this is just the sort of place that do them really well. Not too much into the constant sport though and it does get very crowded. But altogether not a bad spot.

Had a city deal voucher for two starters two mains and a pint of their own beer. Chose the wings and the steak sandwich and these were hearty fare leaving me quite full. My boyfriend had the fish and chips and thought it had too much batter. I wanted a second beer and ordered a carlsberg, but was a bit disappointed it cost €5 as their specialty beers are €4 and especially on a sunday afternoon you'd imagine they would extend the offer. If a voucher deal comes up again I'll come back otherwise I might come in just for the wings and a pint on their own. Maybe.

I literally have not visited Eddie Rockets in ten years, because there are so many other dining options available and so many places for a burger. The American style diner theme annoys me a bit actually. But I wound up here for a family get together recently on a Sunday night, and I am kind of glad I stayed away so long. Steak sandwich with cheese was fine and I had a pint for €4. The service was patchy and I really hate it when the dishes aren't cleared away straight after eating. The waitress kept coming over to offer us a chocolate brownie on a stick that looked like a lollipop. The way the question was phrased it looked like it was a free sample, but you just know if you didnt realise that it wasnt and took it out of politeness it would end up on your bill. No freebies in Eddies and don't forget to tip....I certainly won't rush back.

Stuck for somewhere to spend an hour after work before another engagement on a Monday night near where I live and decided to visit the Merchant for a bite to eat and a couple of pints. It was fairly busy and a good few people were eating. I chose a steak sandwich with chips and a pint of carlsberg. When it arrived I was a little disappointed it wasnt served with cheese as standard as I hadn't thought to ask. Still it was good and hit the spot on that occasion. I do like coming here for the odd pint as its very close to where I live and there are a number of old fashioned pubs in the area to choose from. I will be back, I am sure.

Ive only eaten here a couple of times but the service and food make this place pretty memorable. Full irish served with toast and tea did not disappoint. Had to work very hard on saturday night to make it down to glasthule for dinner as with the dart problem ended up walking from the bus in dun laoghaire. Arrived hungry and ready for a nice Indian meal in a local pub setting. I was disappointed no tandoori dishes on the menu as was indicated on the menupages online menu, but I had a very enjoyable chicken tikka masala all the same. The mixed platter is no longer on the menu either, and i would have liked that too. Stayed around after the meal for a couple of pints, but felt a little pressure to give back the table because they were quite busy. Recommended, nonetheless.

Came here for a group lunch and had a three course set menu and ate upstairs. The soup was leek and potato served in a huge bowl, very big portion. I had roast chicken with mash and green beans and red wine jus for main and it was very nice. I asked for just sorbet for my dessert and was served four large scoops, which was too much for me to finish. Altoghether a nice spot for a secluded lunch, I might be back.

Arranged to meet my cousin and sister here for cocktails here on a Friday around seven. We didn't have a reservation but got a very nice table nonetheless. I had vouchers for six cocktails and the first waiter was very attentive and knew his stuff. The second waiter got one order wrong and I got to keep the mistake and the right cocktail was brought over very promptly. I was very glad we had the vouchers as I wouldn't have liked to pay full price but the cocktails were top class and the bartenders take a lot of pride in them. Very busy spot later on. I might go back for another voucher deal if one comes up. Not bad.

I wonder why Blanchardstown don't have the draft beer special for €4 they have in Stephen's Green. Disappointed with that. Came here for Sunday lunch my first time to eat in TGI Blanchardtown, and the food was pretty good, if too much to finish. My boyfriend had the jack daniels burger and we split the bruschetta. I had the mushroom onion mozzarella burger. You really want to be hungry to finish two courses with burgers here. Overall, not bad.

Wasn't really that impressed with my first visit to Dante. Very quiet on a Saturday night and appear to close up early. Had the two course menu for 12.50 and a bottle of house wine. The bruschetta is pretty bad but it was the only thing on the starter menu that looked decent. The pesto on the bruschetta came out of a tube and its pizza bread not ciabatta. The pizza was better I will admit and had lots of topping. I had some vouchers to use up for this meal, so probably will not be returning in a hurry. There are much better places to eat in Blanchardstown, I think.

Stopped by here for a lunch special with my sister on a Friday and service was fine. The menu is pretty limited for the special offer they have changed it recently, it used to be better. We were charged three euro extra for naan bread even though we said we wanted one rice and one naan as part of the business lunch. It seems every time I come here I end up paying more than I think its going to be. Its not at all bad but not the greatest lunch special in the area.

This pub have an unusual offer which Ive never seen before. They offer membership cards to regulars for €20 and it entitles you to €3 pints Sunday to Thurs and get this - a free meal once a week!! My boyfriend and I just found out about the deal and signed up last week. We went in Thursday night and it was lovely atmosphere and the owner was very friendly. Good live music too. The menu is quite limited and on this particular occasion I didn't get a chance to sample it, but its a very popular spot and I'm looking forward to trying it out.

I had a voucher for a slap up meal for two at BD Spice and made a booking for last Friday. When I got there I was told we could order anything off the a la carte menu to the value of €60. This was a nice surprise as I usually order off set menus when I go out to save money. It was lovely to have the extra choice. We got the chicken tandoori starter platter between us and it was just lovely. Poppodums and dips came as standard. Decided to go for lamb balti and pilau rice with garlic naan. Tiramasu for dessert. Lovely food and very nice service. Rathfarnam is a bit out of the way for me to come back, but this trip was worth the effort. Recommended,

I don't usually go to Baggot Street on a Saturday night, but I had a voucher for a pitcher and a platter in the Waterloo and decided to give it a go. Originally made the booking for four but two people cancelled so it was just me and my b/friend. The platter was nicely served with dips but only had chips and chicken wings. I had been told this when I booked but I had hoped they would rustle up some onion rings but this was not to be. The pitcher was served with ice cold glasses in a glass pitcher which I would expect from this class of establishment. They even let us use a second voucher which isn't strictly within the terms of the offer, so we had more beer. It was a nice atmosphere and nice service, I would go back. Recommended.

Hosted a small end of summer party American style here on Saturday night and booked a table for ten through the website. I only found out later that one of my party was a wheelchair user and when I arrived the Hard Rock had no lift. I asked them if they could sort out a table on the ground floor if we waited and this was no problem at all. The hostess was very nice and friendly about it. In the end by the time the whole gang of us arrived and we were ready to order there was no waiting time for us at all and it was very smooth service. We all opted for the two course menu for €15 and this was fine. Burgers are all cooked the same way though and I couldn't get a medium one, only medium well. The bill came to €190 for nine of us, which was very good value considering most of us had more than one alcoholic drink. I will definitely be back. Recommended.

Took a dart out to Dun Laoghaire after work on Friday and arranged to meet my boyfriend there. He was late but my waitress had no difficulty seating me on my own and serving me wine and breadsticks while I waited. She even offered me a magazine but I said I was happy soaking up the atmosphere. My boyfriend loves cheesecake so he opted for the three course menu and I had two courses. We both had the garlic mushrooms and noted that they were cheesier than we have ever had before, but they were good if exceedingly calorific!. I had lasagne with greek salad and my boyfriend had the kentucky pizza and we enjoyed these immensley. Cheesecake was lovely homemade. We had the 30 euro menupages voucher and only had to hand over 23 euro for the wine and the rest of the bill. Definitely will be back. Recommended.

I was meeting a friend for a meal after work on a Friday night, and I decided to use a voucher I had for D'Vine Wine bar. We got two bruchettas, two pizzas and a bottle of wine. Its a very nice spot for a relaxing meal, and the pizza is pretty good too. Service was very good, which is a good sign with a voucher, as it looks like they are trying to get people to come back, which is always a good sign. Sometimes with vouchers you dont get the best service but this was not the case here. Overall a very nice meal which was well deserved after a hard week in the office. Recommended.

I work near here and had to stop by to change a booking so decided to have a spot of lunch on my own. Its great value and very large portions, i actually couldn't finish my main course and left some of the naan bread, but the quality of the food was excellent and the service was good too. I didn't have the chance to use the restroom on this occasion but last time I was here one was flooded and the other was out of order so I had to use the mens. Despite this , I am looking forward to my next visit for dinner. Recommended.

I love Wagamamas Stephens Green and have even visited their restaurant in Boston, so I was happy to stop here for a bite to eat on a Monday evening before a movie. I read a bad review of Merchants Arch for dining on a Saturday night here on menupages and I hoped things would be different for my 40th birthday party which i had arranged months ago with the owner of the restaurant. Sadly everything went wrong in the kitchen and the food never arrived. There was a major delay in the kitchen and the food would have been over an hour late arriving anyway, but for some reason the food order for three platters of finger food got cancelled (without checking with me) and the kitchen closed and the only food my guests got was cake which I had brought myself. I was thoroughly dissapointed and I definitely will not be returning. it is a good spot for a drink and a bit of music, but Merchant's Arch do not have their act together with food, and for this reason its not a good spot to organise a party. Not recommended.

They have changed the lunch specials at Mexico to Rome since the last time I was here, it's 9.95 for two courses without a glass of wine, but it's still really good food at very good value, for lunch time anyway. If you want you can get the wine for an extra 3, They have added a new starter which is a potato skin loaded with chilli and cheese and this was really excellent. Fancied a burger and the cheddar cheese burger is very good cooked just the way I like, but if you like enchiladas, they do those really well as well. My friend got the minute steak and loved it. Recommended!!

Great place for a taco, love the epicurean food hall. Really great choice. I had the opportunity to use some city deal vouchers at taco taco recently and it really was some eating!! Had an opportunity to use a menupages voucher for an meal in Toscana last night so we got a free bottle of house wine which was nice to go with our midweek special menu. The early bird here is €17.95 for a two course menu but if you ask for the special offer menu you can get it for €14.95 for a much smaller limited menu. Even so, there are some nice dishes on it. I chose chicken wings and ravioli. The wings were delicious and a lovely hot sauce, and the ravioli was good also. My dining partner chose the soup and the chicken and he enjoyed it also. This was my first time dining here and I would definitely come back!!

Great pre theatre menu which is great value at €24 for three courses. You do feel like youre in a fine dining restaurant with an affordable meal and there is no rush to turn around the table either.....we arrived at seven on a Friday night and didn't leave until 10. The last time I was here with my sisters the President was dining with her family so it really is a good choice! Would definitely recommend it.....

I booked a table through menu pages and arrived a little too early but was able to sit at the bar and order from the wine list while my partner arrived. Wine list was nice and house wine we chose which was a french merlot was reasonably priced at 19.95 and very well suited to the dinner for two that we ordered. It was a mixed grill dish for two for 45 euro and the waitress or kitchen had no problem cutting the 12oz steak in two and cooking it two different ways for us with two different sauces. Steak was the best Ive had in ages and was perfectly cooked. The rest of the grill was good as well with grilled black pudding, sausage, cheese, pineapple, mushroom, peppers and a side of thick cut chips and roasted vegetable. No room for dessert but cappuchino and tea reasonably priced. Well worth a visit for a Saturday night but I would definitely recommend booking as you might not get a table otherwise
