Flanagan’s RestaurantPosted on 14 May 2007
I like this place. It’s cheap and cheerful for a quick bite to eat. The booths are comfy and the food is old style Ireland. A little bit run of the mill and I don’t think the menu has changed in about ten years but the food is good. The fish and chips always tasty and the steak and fry ups on par with other city centre cafés. The pizzas are really tasty in my opinion. If you want haute cuisine or something special this is not the place but for comfort and a quick bite to eat at an affordable price this is your place.

Meghna TandooriPosted on 14 May 2007
My favourite Indian restaurant. Staff so friendly. Food always great. The prices cannot be beaten and the restaurant itself is elegant. Not cheap or fake like some Indian restaurants. A great regular place to eat.

Jewel in the Crown (South William Street)Posted on 14 May 2007
I found the staff very rude and dismissive. We asked for the bill 3 times and waited 20 mins at least before we got it...Also be aware this restaurant isn't an Indian restaurant is actually Pakistani and the meat is Halal...I only found this out after I had ordered as it says in tiny writing on the last page of the menu that they use Halal meats...to me this is a problem and coupled with the AWFUL service I wont be going back!!
