This is a lovely little restaurant in Howth even if it only seats about 25 or 30 people. Food and especially fish are near perfect. The chips are also the nearest you will get to home made and portions are huge. I will certainly be going back.

Only my third time here and I'm sorry to say but I think the Michelin star has gone to the head a bit. First and foremost the food is still excellent and that is important, however it is ridiculously over priced. I agree with previous comments regarding maitre de are they not listening?? Finally my biggest gripe is the appalling service over an hour wait for mains simply not good enough especially with them prices.

Finally got to Luigi's on Monday and it was well worth the wait! I had a loveley sirolin steak and my wife had firecracker prawns; both were near perfect. The dessert I have to mention the ice cream tower which was lovely. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Overall I would recommend it.

Overall a little disappointed with this place. Have to say service was one of the best ever contary to other reviews. Food was nice but nothing spectacular. I was seated under air conditioning unit and it was blowing right down on top of me on a cold night. I brought it to the attention of staff and they did not turn it off. So i had a breezy evening!! Here for first time since it was given a make-over and one problem remains - TOO CRAMMED. I can’t believe they spent money on this place and you still can’t swing a cat in it, just take a few tables out. Food was very nice and service was pretty good.

this is a near hidden little gem in Clontarf! Probably the best fish I have had in any restaurant it was near perfect. Staff and atmosphere also excellent which made for a most enjoyable evening. I'll be back here very soon.

Oh my God!! The worst restaurant I have ever had the misfortune of eating out of! Friend's birthday brought me but it was tacky and somewhat dirty from the time I walked in. Food was the worst I have ever tasted in any restaurant (and I use that word lightly describing this place) in any county or country in fact!!! Probably the worst thing was when I asked for a beer and I got it in a can (yes a can of heineken with not even a glass). I can only advise to keep on going when you are looking for something to eat at this place. Truly awful

I have eaten in this resturant many times and I am disappointed to say I find it slowly going downhill. The place could do with a makeover and the most important thing, the food, has gone downhill rapidly. To be fair can't fault the service or price but as I said the food quailty or portion size has changed a lot. Maybe I just had a bad night but I won't be rushing back having been a regular for some time now.

Had meal here last night and was very impressed. The yacht special a fish dish with a mixture of prawn, shrimp, cod and salmon was as good as I have tasted anywhere. Ate here last night and I wont be returning ever! The most unhelpful staff I have ever witnessed in any pub or restaurant. Food terrible and when I complained about my steak been over done (asked medium to rare) the waitress put her eyes up to heaven and tutued. It took 15 mins for right steak to arrive by which time my wife had finished. Also the drink is way over priced and a bottle of coke is only 200ml enough for one short. Won’t see me in this place again.

Went to Seabank last weekend and over all a little disappointed with it over all. Very small and badly laid out a table for 2 just inside door (cold). Food was very nice I had T-bone steak, which was very nice, and my wife had smoked cod, which for 29euro was a bit expensive given the size of the piece. Overall nice place but I would say a bit to expensive and a bit to small!
