Joburger rocks!!! This is what 'Gourmet burger' is all about, and I find myself going there every couple of weeks. It's an effortlessly cool place, with a buzzing atmosphere, good, friendly staff, and amaaaazing burgers. The toppings combinations are like nothing you'll find anywhere else, and the meat is very good quality. I'm reliably informed that the salads there are very good too, but I wouldn't - and never will - know about that.

I ate there last Friday with a group of 8, and I will never eat there again. Yes, it's a great wine bar, but the food is bland, and hugely overpriced. It masquerades as a gourmet restaurant, and is priced as such, but it's found sorely wanting. Two of us had the meatballs for mains, and we both found them unbelievably bland - if you got this meal out of a tin for a fiver in the supermarket you'd be disappointed. The rest of the group ranged from disappointed to just ok with their meals. Needs a huge overhaul in the kitchen.

Two words: chicken wings.
Tribeca is something of a mystery. Having been there at least 20 times, I can say that most of the food there is quite ordinary...but the fact remains that I've been there at least 20 times!
It's ALWAYS busy, and there is an undeniable buzz about the place. The service is ok, but nothing special. As I mentioned, the food is not great, but with one exception: the chicken wings are life-changing! The chips are pretty nice too, but nothing else on the menu is worth mentioning in my humble opinion.
