Lemon (Dawson St)

Lemon (Dawson St)

This place is always busy because it's so close to Trinity. There are better crepes available elsewhere at much lower prices but I suppose you're paying for the Dawson St. factor. The menu is extensive which is good, but coffee is poor and the omelettes are rip off. Toasted sandwiches looked big although I've never tried them.

Been here several times for Sunday lunch or weekday evening meal. I've never been disappointed and I've always left feeling I've been served good food at reasonable prices. Brought my mother here a few Sundays before and she was able to get reduced portions which are available for OAPs. A nice touch. Highly recommended for pub grub,

This was the worst dining experience I've had in a long time. My brother and I both had a stir fry and it was terrible. If I'd cooked it at home myself I would have been ashamed to hand it to anyone. It wasn't cheap either. Absolutely dreadful. In their defence it was late in the evening when food service was almost over but nothing justifies serving up dross like this.

WOW they've dropped their prices. I've been here before and the crepes are brilliant but I can't believe the value they're giving now. Ham & cheese was €6.20 is now €4.90, Tuna Melt was €6.20 is now €4.90. Traditional was €4.50 is now €3.50 and Chocolate is down from €5.50 to €4.50. When we saw the new prices we thought the crepes would be smaller or have less fillings but hallelujah they were the same fantastic crepes they've always been. The other good news is that hot chocolate is down to €2.50. Staff are always friendly and it's very clean and bright. Well done to them for making such drastic price reductions, the best Crepes in Dublin are now available at affordable prices. BRILLIANT VALUE.
