I went here for brunch with my boyfriend recently and we both really enjoyed it. The waitresses were smiley and quick, and the food was very good. I had pancakes which were lovely - 2 pancakes with maple syrup for €4.95, and he had a full irish breakfast and loved it. It's a nice chilled out atmosphere, godo for people watching out the window and relaxing. Looking forward to going again.

This is a cheerful chipper run by a friendly family. Yummy chips, and the ham and cheese toastie is one of the best I've found!

Adore adore adore! The atmosphere and whole feel of the place is just amazing - it doesn't look much from the outside put once you walk through the door you're transported into another world!
Helpful, friendly service, mouth watering food...
I think it's my favourite restaurant.

Absolutely delicious food, really loved it. Service particularly disappointing but then everyone has their off nights i suppose! I would definitely recommend it though, even if the prices aren't really fitted for recession times!

excellent value, tasty pizza. great for a bite to eat before the cinema, or for catching up with friends. very friendly staff, i've always felt well looked after. you aren't left sitting too long, or rushed out of the place. it may be decorated like a kids playroom but the pizza still tastes great!

the queens is all about atmosphere. sunny days, celebrations, treating yourself. the menu is sparse and the food isnt amazing, and it should be noted that the staff could be friendlier! nonetheless, it is still the best place in dalkey for a lunch out, and you never know who you might spot while you're there!

those chocolate ice crepes are to die for! love this place, especially considering they offer a college discount and are situated barely a minute from tcd! generally friendly staff, though the wait can be irritating, as you get squashed into a corner with everyone else while your crepe is being made. i suppose the fact that it seems to be permanently busy shows how tasty the food is!

tasty burgers, quite a cramped room though. i found the staff to be helpful and chatty, and loved the choice of music being played! the burgers are huge though, i ate as much as i could and my plate still looked full!

My favourite restaurant. excellent food, excellent service, excellent value. the staff go out of their way to make your night as enjoyable as possible, and are incredibly welcoming. a big deal is always made of birthdays, which is charming (if a little irritating, there can be a good few each night, and everyone must sing!)
