Decided to eat here early Saturday evening as I had a voucher. Even with the discount it wasn't worth the money we paid for our dinner. Nothing irritates me more first off than being warned you only have the table for 90mins and then a further reminder when you order dessert! For god's sake we ate the food as soon as it arrived and didn't sit over it for an age. The starter was fine but the "famous" baby back ribs were a total disappointment. Hardly a lick of sauce not to mention a distict burnt finish to the underside of the ribs. I normally get the ribs so I know this isn't how they should be presented. The meat was in very short supply also. My girlfriend had the garlic chicken which was more butter than anything else. You'd have to drain the chicken to be able to stomach eating any quantity of it! One thing they do get right is the desserts which were both excellent (apple and toblerone cheesecakes). The food quality used to justify its high cost but not anymore. I can truthfully say I won't be returning any time soon.

Came here for Sunday lunch a few weeks ago. Was impressed by the selection and value of the lunch menu on arrival. Went for soup and cajun chicken main course. After what was a nice bowl of soup the mains arrived. To my surprise I was given a Caesar salad. On explanation to the waitress she said she thought I ordered the caesar salad including cajun chicken. Understandable mistake but the salad had no chicken on it. Oh well. Rather than wait I just ate the salad and wasn't disappointed.

Went with a few of the lads from college and really enjoyed the meal. Were well looked after by the waiter after we finally got a seat (the queue outside was about 30 people). The portions are massive and I loved my steak. Don't agree with other peoples' reviews but maybe parents with kids are more fussy and less tolerant of delays!

Had a birthday dinner for my girlfrind here on Saturday night. Had 16 people who really enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. I specifically booked the cellar (basement) area which looked fantastic and the service was excellent. The manager, whom I'd made all the arrangements with prior to the party, served us all evening. Starters and mains arrived in excellent time and together which was a pleasant surprise. The selection and quality of the food was excellent and great value for money. The carafes of house wine were very nice. The prearranged birthday cake went down a treat and I can be sure many of the 16 guests will be returning again soon.

If you want a good feed come on over to O'Neills. When I was in college we spent many an afternoon lounging in this place recovering from the vast quantities of food we'd eaten. If you like nothing more than a good old carvery lunch / dinner look no further. Excellent value and the selection of food is great. It is very busy though so expect a queue.

For a guy who rates the quantity of food as highly as the quality I was delighted to find both in abundance in the Mongolian BBQ. The self service system really gives you control of all the tastes and textures you can enjoy. The atmosphere is great for a group party but I wouldn't recommend it to couples out for a romantic meal.

Very hard to review. I love the atmosphere and the bar even though I'm not very impressed at all by the food. The burgers are tough and the ingredients aren't very fresh. A bit over-priced for the food that's on the plates.

Was a good restaurant a few years ago but of late it's gone down hill. On my last two visits I've had to send food back to get it heated or just cooked full stop. The service is really unfriendly. Won't be returning any time soon.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Service is extremely friendly if a little slow. The food is different everytime depending on which fresh Italian pastas are available. The wines are very nice and overall the prices are very reasonable. If you like Italian food at all you'll love Enoteca Torino. Try it!

Love the food and the simple modern decor. The menu offers plenty of choice and the catch of the day is always excellent. Can be a bit loud with the music and the other eaters but it all adds to the atmosphere. Service is fantastic.

I love the restaurant but the takeaway is fantastic value altogether. 20% discount if you collect your order speaks for itself. The selection and quality of the food is superb. If you're already a fan of Indian cuisine you will love Shimla.
