We stayed at this hotel for two nights and the breakfast was not great at all - very small selection and i was not expecting much for the dinner that was included in our package but i was pleasantly surprised. The service was amazing, really attentive staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere, the food was quite gourmet and really tasty, the desserts were to die for and great value, would recommend.

I used to go here all of the time a few years ago and i decided to go there yesterday with my partner, it was a dreary day but the views from the open plan window are lovely and really make this a better than pub grub looking place, the food however was not as good as i remembered. i ordered the fresh fish of the day and received a massive portion, i t was lovely, my partner ordered the beef and it was very gritty and the vegetables are frozen and not fresh. The service however was great but a bit pricey for pub grub.

i keep this place as a "special occasion" place, i love their seafood, it always looks so colourful and tastes amazing, the atmosphere is really nice as well and with attentive staff its a lovely dining experience and worth the drive from cork.

took a spin to Kinsale and decided to stop for chips, i was not impressed at all with Dino's i found the fish to be really greasy and not a big portion either it seemed to be all batter. Service was terrible and expensive for fish and chips

As with most fast food joints you expect a certain thing but this is a little more upmarket and the opiri piri sauces are really good, seems like they use relativly good quality chicken also, downside - menu is a little constricting but reasonable enough

great choice of dishes, really fun and you would be surprised at what you would eat, if there is nothing on the belt that you like to made to order food is really good, the only thing i didnt like was the location, everyone stares at you coming down the lifts/escalators.

i think that Eddie Rockets are quite expensive for what you get, for two people burgers chips and malt shakes will set you back well over €30. The shakes are amazing though so i would recommend getting your shake and eating elsewhere as the food is very average and the service isnt that great.

Actually from the looks of this place there isnt anything really impressive about it but they do really good doorstep sambos and their murphys is excellent, great value toasties available as well and very friendly staff. Well worth a lazy afternoon relaxing, reading a paper, drinking a pint and enjoying a really good sandwich.

i have eaten here for years, even before the makeover and i love the place, i usually get the sunday carvery lunch or the odd time a gourmet sandwich. The carvery is exceptional value and never disappoints, i thought the sandwiches were overpriced. i went for a meal once here and was not impressed compared to their usual food. i got the fish with chunky chips and a pea puree, the fish was very oily and i actually had oil floating on my plate, my partner got the beef fillet and portion was tiny, you get way more on a carvery for half the price. i will still be going back for my sunday lunch though, very well organised and worth waiting for a seat

nice place, the tables are a little close together but great if you are an eavesdropper, not great if you want to say something private, the food is very good and the waiting staff are excellent. good value for money and there is no being rushed out the door. Good wine list also

went here for an anniversary dinner, not as upmarket as other places and its small and cosy and the service is really good but the food is amazing, spent a while in Italy and its really close to authentic italiam food, everything tastes home-made and is so full of flavour, i was so full there was no dessert needed. Price wise - very reasonable for such amazing cuisine.

i have eaten here a few times and recently went for the sunday carvery here, i found that the food was ok, nothing spectacular, portion sizes were good and the price is standard, i do know however that on special occassions (ie - fathers day) the price goes up by €1 on average per meal. it gets quite busy here as well on a sunday but nice for a relaxing sunday brunch

i love KUDOS i think its got a great selection of food, the service is very good and they are very reasonable. They seem to use a lot of really fresh ingredients and everything that comes out of the kitchen smells amazing. The portion sizes are more than ample and good value for money, very relaxed atmosphere.

the setting of this restaurant is lovely and ideal for a romantic dinner, ther service is very good and the staff are friendly, i ordered the steak well done and i was disappoited at what i received, portion sizes are very small and i felt that because i ordered a well done steak i didnt get as good a cut. I have eaten here a few times and i love it, they use really fresh ingredients and the seafood is delicious, the lunchtime menu is great value and sometimes they do buy one get one free offers on pigsback which makes it even better. This place is great for a quick meal and the prices are reasonable, i recommend the Gyozo and the Katsu curry.

Went here for a birthday party of eight people, service was a little slow considering that there was hardly anybody else in the restaurant at 6.30pm. Food portions are of a good size and good value. Great for bigger parties as everyone gets served together and the waiters leave you alone and don't pester you to leave which is great. Overall: an enjoyable experience

Definetly not pub grub, this is cuisine at its finest, seafood is cooked perfectly, steaks are made to order and all i can say is that the ingredients used are outstanding quality, the service is exceptional with friendly attentive staff. Prices are reasonable enough for the quality that you are getting, portion sizes are ample. Excellent for a romantic meal. Overall my favourite restaurant in Cork
