really nice place to meet the girls for a lunch on Sunday/Saturday. Think I prefer the food menu in the day, night time is limited and more expensive. While the night time is nice and romantic with the lights i still prefer day. They have the best chunky chips, home made burgers. never any room for desert well worth a visit !

Really enjoy this restaurant, the best chinese in Wicklow, service is good even when busy waiters always around. Food is yum especially the starter of clamari. if you want good value go for the early bird option they have.

Was always a bif fan of purple ocean but had not visted in the last few months. I went last saturday table of 11 people for my niece's birthday. Some of us went for the 4 course for 22.50 while others just went with normal menu. While the food is still very good - starters pate, garlic mushrooms, calamari. Two things i was disappointed with 1. The chicken with irish whiskey was my favourite sauce was horrible way too strong and not as creamy any more 2. the Service was the worse, we seen about 4 waiters around on the day but had to keep searching for them to ask for more bread, water and i had to send my nephew over to order our deserts. for a table of 11 people and only 3 other tables i would have expected the service to be much better and was disapppointed. Service is this restaurants downfall

Place is small so if it's busy you may be bit close to other tables, on the busy nights and weekend you need to book. Service can depend on who's working and how busy they are. Food is the best. Fab Pizza, Pasta and lovely Garlic Bread. Kids will love it especially for the ice-cream. Highly recommend for casual night out or with the kids.

Would recommend booking.Food is fab - very tasty, have gone about 5 times and never disappointed. Nice for special events. Would also recommend the normal pub food in the bar if you cannot get a table: lovely Curry, Burgers and Steak. Food is always good.

Nice Pub in Bray with tasty pub grub, nice when you need a nice out without booking, nice outdoor seating area when it's warm enough. Would recommend the Pizza very nice
