We had a huge family group arriving mid-morning for late breakfast/early brunch; we were accomodated around one huge circular table, and our orders were taken without fuss or misunderstanding. Tea was produced, initially in small individual pots, but when we asked, a giant teapot was brought to the table, and re-filled several times during breakfast! All breakfasts were freshly cooked, served on warm plates, and service was excellent. Some of us stayed chatting around the table for some considerable time, and we were left in peace to do so.
Myself and partner have also had dinner here, and they do a €75 special,which is a four course dinner,including a bottle of wine, for two. Great food, good service.

The Winding Stair RestaurantPosted on 25 October 2008
Absolutely magnificent meal today; my first visit. The attention to detail , the service, and above all, the food, will bring me back there many times. Have raved about it to anyone who will listen to me today.
And there IS a real winding stair too!
Lovely, lovely, a hidden gem.
