We ate here having heard fabulous things about the place. While the food was beautiful (in particular the crab starter), I wasn't impressed overall. I wasn't too keen on the waiting room which I felt was like my granny's living room and once seated I felt like the service was a little OVER attentive.
I can't complain about the food - but all the same I won't be in a rush back.
I also thought that the whole experience was a little on the expensive side.

This is my favourite place to go when I just don't feel like cooking and just want 'cosy' food.
There's nothing spectacular about it yet it never disappoints. Portions are a good size and the service has never left me wanting.
In terms of atmosphere, I prefer to eat in the bar (at the back) rather than in the lounge.

I've gone back here many times and in the last few weeks was particularly impressed with the current offer of any burger on the menu for €5.
The service is good, the food is good and it's really handy for a quick bite while shopping.
I prefer the Gourmet Burger Kitchen to the other burger restaurants.

I am a regular customer here and can't help but return again and again.
The service is fantastic. The atmosphere is always lovely and you can almost always be sure there'll be the buzz of quiet converesation.
Great for a meal for two or for a group.
The garlic mushroom starter is amazing and they do a great pizza too.
Best choice for food in Balbriggan.

This was the perfect meal. Two starters, two mains and two glasses of wine for €39. Fantastic young cosy atmosphere with good service that's not in your face. No surprise they were turning people away they were so busy on a Monday night.
The Portobello mushroom starter is to die for I highly recommend Green Nineteen and will definitely be going back

We eat in blue quite regularly - usually saturday afternoon lunches. We sit outside on the deck with the view out over the harbour. The food is good while not being anything particularly special and the chicken wings are fantastic.
I can also very much recommend the €6 cocktail list - in particular the pear mojito.
Definitely one we'll return to again and again.

We ate here last night and overall, I'd have to say it was a lovely experience and good value for money.
I was slightly disappointed that at 8pm on a Sunday night we were still only presented with the Sunday lunch menu rather than the a la carte one - which is what we've heard such great reviews of.
That said, the food was lovely and there was certainly plenty of it. The herb-crusted hake in a pink peppercorn sauce was fantastic.
Only complaint was that it was a little bit cold. The open fire was lit and as it is an extremely old building I can appreciate that it must be hard to heat. When the table beside the fire became available there was no problem in moving - so the problem was averted.
The man who served us, was excellent and we will definitely be going back to sample the a la carte menu.

We ate here last night. It wasn't very enjoyable. Although it was quite and not busy the waiting staff were reading the newspaper in the dining area and the kitchen door was open and you could hear all about the weekend antics of the staff.
The food was nice but the staff lacked a professional attitude and was by far not an enjoyable evening because of that. Very disappointed
