Have visited Fordes in Castlebridge on many occasions & have never had a bad experience so we decided to try here as we were in Wexford town. To be honest there was no comparison with Castlebridge. Food here tended to be a little too salty for our taste. No children's menu was also disappointing. Unless reviews show an improvement I don't think we'll return.

This is a sister restaurant to Fordes in Wexford town but in my opinion this is much better. The staff are so friendly & helpful. We've eaten here many times with family & friends & we've never had a bad experience. Highly recommended.

This was our first visit & we will return. The staff were very efficient & helpful. We had the pre-theatre menu & we really enjoyed the food. The portions weren't huge but we were full leaving especially after having starter, main, dessert & tea/coffee. Look forward to eating here again soon.

Went there on a menupages deal last night. There was absolutely no atmosphere in the place despite it being Saturday & very busy. We bought the deal because friends of ours had eaten here a few years ago & said it was lovely then-they were with us & couldn't believe the difference. Service was slow. The men ordered two pints of Heineken draught, they were flat! Our starters the combination platter was very greasy, not up to much & we even got a free hair included..yuk!! The mains were okay but nothing spectacular, with chewy beef & flavourless chicken. We were going to have dessert but as is normal in some Chinese restaurants they were frozen but that said what really put us off was the waiter we spotted squeezing raspberry sauce onto someone's dessert at the customer service desk on the way in-not very hygienic! We definitely won't be returning & to be honest if we paid full price we would have been pretty annoyed with the quality, service & atmosphere. Don't know how it was so busy it must have been the vouchers pulling in the business. AVOID :-(

It's not a good idea to visit this restaurant when a football match or sporting event is on tv as there are screens in all areas. Have visited a few times and found the staff friendly but depending on the night you visit it could take a while to be served!!! Food was very nice on each visit.

Great value for money, plenty of food to choose from too. For those that don't want chinese you could always have a salad. Dessert choice very good also. Visited at lunchtime on Monday and place was very quiet but I believe it's buzzing at the weekend. Atmosphere wasn't great but if you don't have a soft drink and are on a tight budget with a big appetite this could be the place for you. I also find the child measuring a little off putting too as I have twins one taller than the other - does this mean one can have the child menu and the other can't???? What's that all about??

First impressions - dirty stairs not a great first impression!!! Food very nice but waiter/manager could do with a course in customer etiquette as stated in other reviews. As we were being shown to our table we met friends who asked that we join them - we agreed but got a 'look' from the waiter. We had another query about the meal and this waiter/manager was rude and unfriendly. My friend visits this restaurant for it's close proximity to her home and she says sometimes the service is better than others. For me I'd prefer to forfeit the alcohol and eat where I feel I am getting a better service for my money.

I LOVE this restaurant. I've been so many times and it's never been a bad experience. Some waitressess little friendlier than others but they are all very efficient. The fact that you can have a meal anywhere in the restaurant, then move upstairs for a drink & a dance (the band are brilliant - we thought they were miming the first time we heard them) endears this restaurant to us every time. I'll keep going back. Great for groups and couples alike. YUM!!

Have been a few times. May have to wait to be seated but generally a short wait. Staff courteous, friendly and efficient. Food very nice with a good choice menu. I would highly recommend for a relaxing break from shopping & the hustle & bustle of Dundrum Town Centre.

One word I would use to describe this restaurant is "LACKING". It lacks atmosphere, food okay but also lacking, staff attentive but that's probably because the place is nearly empty....and is most times I pass. Won't be going back.

We visited here just before Xmas and it was very busy as we expected for this time of year. We had a table booked 3 weeks in advance but when we got there the table wasn't available!! They put two tables together to facilitate us but we sat between the two doors in an area obviously not usually used for diners and we were very cold as the smokers used these doors regularly. The food was very nice but the staff more or less forgot about us and we had trouble getting their attention. It's really only pub grub. I was told on the phone that there was live music but what would you know.....not on the night we were there!! I've heard the lunchtime menu is very good but I won't be making a return visit in the evening anytime soon.
