Dined here on a Saturday evening early with menupages voucher. With a new head chef I was looking forward to a new experience. Both of us really enjoyed the starters of hot smoked salmon and pork belly which were full of flavour and imagination. The study of beef and duck were nicely cooked but maybe something more imaginative would have put it up at the same standard as the starters. The wine menu is a bit sparce. Overall a nice meal and couldn't fault the service. A pity that the layout hasn't changed much since the last visit as it still has a hotel feel about the place. Will return again once the new chef menu changes have taken place.

Ate here with family on a cold evening. The bar and grill beside the restaurant looked very busy. The decor is very nice and it is quite big the restaurant. We were greeted very pleasently and couldn't fault the service when the manager asked us how our meal was. We had the risotto and scallops starters. The risotto was a little under and the scallops was delicious. Overall the food was a little disappointing maybe because I was expecting so much. We had a nice evening and would I return.. I don't know we shall see.

Dined with a menupages voucher deal on a Thursday early bird. We had the Confit of Duck and the Tomato and Basil soup. Both were delicious. We had the Hake and the Rib Eye of Beef. Both were very nice and the apple and rasberry financier was delicious. Another great meal with excellent service and we didn't leave dissapointed once again.

I ate here with my Girlfriend on Friday Night with the Menupages Deal. The restaurant was remarkably quiet for a weekend. However we were greeted very warmly by our waiter from Rome who was very attentive to our needs. We had the Gamberi Vesuvio and the Insalata di Mare both of which were lovely. We both went with the Filetto one with creamy mushroom sauce and one with pepper. The steaks were superb especially with the creamy mushroom sauce and Fontestozzi Chianti. Deserts were nice nothing out of the ordinary. Only we had the deal the pricing was a little high on the a la carte. The service and food was fantastic. Will definitely return. One comment we had is the front window is a little off putting and gives the place a cheapish feel to something it actually isn't.

Dined here on a very cold Saturday night. The restaurant was full when we arrived so being sat next to the door would have been nice to have been told 2 hours before when we reserved. Anyway we decided to have the Mussels and the Funghi All’Aglio. The Funghi All’Aglio was nice but my Mussels was just awful. There was no seasoning or even any salt taste amazingly enough from the mussels and it was so far an effort from a garlic white wine sauce it was shocking. For mains we had the Linguine Dello Chef and the Sirloin Steak. The Linguine Dello Chef was not great and wasn't finished. The Steak was over on one half of it. Again no seasoning on the mains. Overall the food was poor with no seasoning. The service was appalling. We stood at the door for 3 minutes and staff just looked at us. Nobody asked us during our meal if everything was ok. When were leaving none made an effort to say goodbye. It was as if they didn't want our custom. Overall very poor and will definitely not return.

Dined in Roly's with the menu pages voucher on a Thursday evening. The atmosphere is as always nice and cosy. The Thai spiced fishcakes were delicious. I ordered the beef steak requesting a different sauce than pepper. It wasn't an option so then I was fine with pepper sauce on the side. To my shock I was handed my main with sauce all over the steak. I sent it back only for the same steak to be returned with the pepper sauce poorly removed. The pavlova pillow for dessert was the highlight. Truly scrumptious. Overall it was disappointing with regard to the main course but apart from that it was a lovely meal.

Visited on a Friday afternoon as I have been here a few times before. The place has a large area due to the shear volume of customers it has circulating. It's really like a routine large scale restaurant where the food is nice. I had the duck spring rolls which were nice. The chicken maryland was nice but nothing special. The service was unusually very slow. We waited nearly 50 minutes for our starters. Overall its a nice not too fancy place to get fed.

Dined here on a Wednesday evening. The resteraunt was very quiet and staff was minimal. The dining area was very nice and cosy. I had the duck rolls to start and a gang- ga - ree chicken yellow curry for my main. The food was very nice and beautifully cooked. We had the pre theatre menu and it was very reasonably priced. Good value and would quite possibly dine here again for asian cuisine.

Dined here on the last sitting of a Saturday evening. Granted that it was coming up to Christmas and the resteraunt was full the service was still very slow. The seating was cramped. I had the pheasant which was over cooked and lacked imagination. The rib eye steak was nicely cooked but was covered in pepper sause which was not what I asked for. The apple crumble desert was nice and the highlight of the evening. We had two bottles of wine which was over priced especially in an area surrounded by BYOB. Lacked value, lacked service and food not amazing. Would not dine off the Dinner Menu here unfortunately.

Dined at Citron on the Menupages Deal. We arrived at the last sitting for the evening. At first glance it visually did not have a warm appeal to stay and be comfortable. Also the smoking area is outside which is a long walk away. However the service was attent and could not have been better. It was amazing and friendly just by spending an extra mintue makes a difference with customers. We felt at home and enhanced our experience even with describing the food when it arrived. We had the potted duck and the mackrel which was delicious. We had the study of beef and the highlight of the evening which was the venison. We enjoyed out evening so much we were the last to leave. Best valve I have had in the last 3 years. Definately will return.

Ate here on a Thursday with Menupages Offer. It was our first time here and the resteraunt was nice and vibrant with a heated smoking area. Service was good and prompt but could have been more attentive. The food was excellent, the warm salad was ok but the crab popcorn and salmon was delicious and the highlight of the night. We had the lamb and the steak which was cooked nicely. We changed desert to a special of apple and blackbery gateaux which was delicious. Overall it was simple food cooked nicely. A nice lovely resteraunt but it didn't give me that exciting feeling to return quickly. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Ate here on a quiet thursday afternoon. With only 4 tables seated in a very large room we could barely see them we were so far away. Had the mussels and it was ok. The Cheeseburger was huge and could only eat half of it. Luckily the Apple Tart rescued the meal. The person I was dining with struggled with the menu as a vegetarian and the Chef on request made the rosemary patatoe pizza with truffle. She really enjoyed her pizza. I don't know if I would dine there again as I still prefer the lobby lounge in the Hotel.

Dined here as a birthday present. The Quail and especially the Hereford Beef Assiette was magnificent. Service was good and very astute. The decor is very nice and roomy. I finished off a lovely meal with the Opera Choclate and thoroughly enjoyed my evening. A few things though for a Michelin resteraunt I noticed were the vegetarian options could use more imagination and some of the wines could be more suitable to reflect the price. I was a little amazed when the waiter reached across my plate while eating. However I definately will be returning soon.

Visited on a Friday evening. The place was busy when we arrived but seemed to empty after the early birds were finished. The place is typical new development with no special decor to give it character. Ideal place to have plenty of chatter as layout is generous and large. Two of us shared the garlic mushrooms for starters which were nice. I had the sirloin which was not amazing and lacked seasoning. As they were out of shark she had the red snapper with stir fried vegetables which she enjoyed and was lovely. We were glad some more vegetables came included with our mains and some creamed potatoes which were nice as we would be very hungry leaving otherwise. We shared the Apple Pie dessert which was the highlight of the evening. It was absolutely delicious. Overall it was a lovely evening and the staff was very astute and very observant of their customer which is a big plus. Menu could have a little more variety though.

What a pleasant suprise when I visited here whilst on a date. The resteraunt is very intimate. It really is a hidden gem that if you closed your eyes it really feels like you are somewhere in france and nowhere near dublin.
Both of us had the striploin with bearnaise and it was wholesome as we were hungry. The mains on their own would have been sufficient even though we did order a side of patato gratin. For desert we had the apple tart and tarte aux fraises which were nice but nothing amazing.
The service was nice, casual and freindly whilst maybe not most attentive it did blend with the atmosphere. A thouroghly enjoyable evening if you want to escape to france for an evening. I certainly can't wait to return.

Visted with a friend on a Sunny Wednesday. Living close to Blooms I always wanted to try it out. The Resteraunt had a few diners in but not too busy. The Early Bird menu had a nice varied option to choose from. We both had the Mussles for starters which were nice. I had the 10oz Angus which was amazing as I do like my steaks. My friend had the Rainbow trout which also was delightful. We both agreed the starters were ok but the Main Courses, even though they were a little pricey for an Early Bird, were fantastic. Really enjoyed the meal there and will return again.

Returned to Dobbins for a meal with friends on a Saturday night. Even with the restaurant being full everything went smoothly and it was a very enjoyable evening. I had the Tempura of Prawns and the Rib-Eye of Beef which was cooked beautifully. We all really enjoyed our meals and the food was excellent. I did feel that amount of food on the main course was on the small side. Again was not disappointed and will be returning again soon.
