I frequent this establishment on a regular basis and am a fan. The staff are wonderfully helpful and led by a good owner who makes the effort to make customers feel welcome. The food is hearty fare and ranges from soup and sandwiches to dinner. The chicken curry would be my personal favourite. The are four or five daily specials as well as an extensive always available mene.
Mains cost approx €10 which is good value and service is fast which is so important at lunch

Went here for the early bird recently. Absolutely fabulous especially the Filipino Pork. Service was great, food delicious and it was very reasonable. Will definitely be going again and again

I visited here with my family last night and I was blown away.
We are dedicated foodies who love great reastaurants and there are none better.
There was an 8 course chef's menu which started with a miniature goat's cheese cone with pistachio nuts and beetroot.
It was followed by fabulous Dunmore East crab with honey smoked tuna wonton.
Next came Cauliflower veloute which I had expected to dislike but it was fabulous.
The next course was pork with sweet potato and poached pear. it was followed by a fabulous beef filet.
Three desserts and coffee rounded off the meal.
Service was excellent and it was good value at €65 per head. The atmosphere, attention to detail and uniqueness made it a wonderful experience.

Took my mother here for lunch last Sunday and was very disappointed with several aspects. They are now doing a meal deal every day but we were not shown this menu. On this there was fish and chips and enchiladas for €15. We ordered these from main menu at a cost of 14.95 and 18.50.
When i realised i stated my annoyance to the restaurant manager who tried to fob me off with excuses. Eventually he realised I was not going to pay him so I got the meal deal.
The food was tasty but service in taking orders etc was slow.
I may venture here again but will be watching their charges

Hi.
Went here again last night. It is a great restaurant for a cheap and cheerful meal. it is BYO which is great in this day and age. All of us found the food tasty and great value for money. We had starters mains and teas/ coffees for 20 Euro each including tip. what more could you ask for?
On the down side the restaurant itself is in need of refurbishing to jazz it up

Like this reataurant and the twin one in Cahir. great for meeting up with friends for a cheap and cheerful meal because it is BYO. menu lovely and the soup with the fab toasted bread is a must have. Was in Cahir Thurs night and it was fab as per. two starters, two mains and a take away pizza for €42 how could you complain?

Must have been here a dozen times for lunch and for dinner. staff fab and well able to cater for crowds or small groups. I have alsways come away impressed with food. On one occasion I tried something new which i did not like. completely my own fault dinner was barely touched and waitress offered to me another lunch free of charge. how could you complain about them?
Was there last year for dinner with 22 others and the staff handled us so efficiently and everyone was sent home happy. Would recommend

I have stayed here for a weekend and found the hotel lovely. Also popped in for carvery twice. Liked it immensely food of good quality and quantity. however feel the area where you pay is poor. desserts were not wildly enticing but dinners so big dessert is not really an issue. Went here twice and loved it great service and very inventive food. Never managed to pick a main here as tapas selection so fab. rest of crowd ordered mains and they were fab. Would recommend in fact a large group of us heading there for a night out soon and all of us looking forward to it.
may not be the cheapest place in town but worth every penny
