Okay I wouldnt normally give every aspect the 5 stars but I guess it depends what you are looking for. And this place did everything for me. As it was my first time to try this place, I went for the early bird. There is a good choice - and sure the full menu is very reasonable too. I had teh madras and tried some of my better half's rogan josh. Now Indian is my favourite type of food so I like to consider myself quite experienced here. Their sauces were heavenly - I would have eaten them without meat!. The service was excellant and the staff were very attentive even though we just ordered the early bird and didnt go for wine. Will be back asap.

Overall I would have to say I was quite dissappointed with this place. At first appearances it looked very promising. I got there early so was seated at the bar to enjoy some of there renouned cocktails. And they were very good indeed. There is also a great selection of mini bar treats for just 4 euro each - prawns, scallops and various other mini taster dishes. The staff were all professionally trained too. However, come dinner, everything seemed to dip a little. The service became very slow and the food was not great. My starter of Spanish ham was way over priced and my pidgeon was a little rubbery. One member of our party was not happy with the lamb. However about the pidgeon, but a restaurant of this alleged quality should really be getting the lamb right. All said, I have heard mixed opinions and probably would only return here if through a third party booking.

I was quite disappointed with my nachos starter. Quite bland and served without meat. My burger mains was nothing to write home about either. It was too small. I was with a party of about 10 or so. Seemed to be hit or miss with the others. I wouldn't return.

I can actually remember the date I last ate here. So it's now been over two months and this is way too long. Anyway, went for the lamb bhuna and teh chicken pasanda. Both dishes were simply sublime. However, if you do order from here, you have got to try the lamb. I simply do not know how they get it so tender. Many a restaurant would do well to get near this. I have never been let down yet. Finally I can see why people rave about this place. On this occasion I booked a table for 15 for a Friday night. It was only finalised on the Wednesday before so the restaurant we quite accomodating for us. We were given the whole upstairs to ourselves compltete with privates smoking terrace. Was probably the best place I have been to for such an occasion. I had the burger and it was great. Everyone really enjoyed their food and the cocktails and choice of other drinks were great. The staff were great and really left us in peace too and exercised a lot of patience. Highly recommend this place for such a booking.

Sitting upstairs on a Sunday was a little disappointing. So was the fact that only the Sunday Lunch menu was available. Although when the girl on the phone heard that we were a party of 8 she said she could ask the chef if he could provide the full menu. I declined her kind offer since everyone in my party seemed happy with the lunch menu. The staff were great but service was a little slow at first. Food was well cooked and the wines was very good. However, I don't recommend sitting upstairs, well not during the set menus. Downstairs actually looked a lot nicer too. Yep, I'd go back.

I used my menupoints voucher here. It was pitched for any free main. However, my GF wanted to order from the early bird so the waiter said he would give us 2 early bird meals fro the price of one if we'd prefer that. I thought this was very accommodating of them. And boy is the early bird menu good value. 3 courses and a drink for 20 euro. This place does what it does well. This food is not culinary masterpieces but it is damn tasty.

Walking by here yesterday at 4:45 after some Christmas shopping... well it would be rude not to pop in when the burgers were still only a fiver each. The service seemed to be quicker than that of the GBK in Temple Bar. And this despite the fact that it was much busier here. Anyway, my girlfriend could not bring herself to try something new as she was so happy with the Jamaican burger she had in Temple Bar. I tried a bit and can fully understand why she played the same cards! I went for the Cheeseburger. It was perfect really. Everything I was expecting and more. Still, I don't think I'd pay full price for a burger here but as long as the five euro deal lasts, get down here before 5pm.

The €5 deal is great - all burgers are €5 before 5pm. My burger was very nice. Very well cooked and came with lovely relish and avocado. My girlfriend had a mango chilli burger that she was very happy with too. However, I would not be prepared to pay the full price after 5pm. It's just too much money for a burger.

We got the early bird last night. I had Nachos and Salmon while my better half went for Feta salad and chicken Burrito. This was the first time I had eaten here in a while. And although the experience was pleasant, I think the food wasn't wasn't as good as previous visits. My girlfriend seemed to agree. Anyway, whether it was a bad night or not I will wait and see. I will return to this place in the future.

Haven't eaten here since last January. It had been too long. Finished a round of pitch n putt up in Glencullen last Wednesday and couldn't resist the lure of Johnnie Fox's, afterall, when in Rome... Anyway, just stopped in for a quick lunch. Had a pint of Guinness and a bowl of chowder for about 10 Euro! Left a very content man and nicely full. Great value, wonderful food and just as reliable for a quick snack as it is for a full meal. I'll be returning for the latter, one evening asap

Another groggy morning after cured by the wonderful breakfast provided by these guys. Cheap as chips... so you have to go for Matt's famous breakfast. It's a mighty load and they allow you to trade anything you dislike (liver) for an extra portion of something you do like. Service is amazing too. Never left waiting for more than about 7 mins for my breakfast. Just the remedy.

I ate here at a table of 8 on Bank Holiday Monday. I was surprised to see that there were plenty of tables still available. I guess it's a sign of the financial times because I see no reason to boycott this place. The portions were huge as usual. I tried the firecracker salmon (first time I have had seafood mains in sixty6) and was not disappointed at all. All 8 of us enjoyed our meals and all ordered 3 courses. Now the food is not Michelin quality by any means but you get what you pay for... and sometimes a little more too. And I would have to say that this is the case with sixty6. Bon appetite.

Never disappointed when I eat here. A great neighborhood restaurant and a must for anyone living locally who loves thai food. And they serve the nicest prawn crackers going - try them and you'll know what I mean.
