Went here for lunch, had never been here before. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Great value lunch much, starter and main and food didn't take too long to arrive. The decor of the restaurant is really nice and classy. The menu incorporates many different tapas dishes from different regions, you can even get pasta here! I will definitely go back to check out their other menus. It's worth a visit!

Popped in here just before lunch time for a quick bite to eat. The place was quiet at this time but the staff were lovely and accomodating. We ordered sandwiches and they were really tasty and the portion was huge, big enough to d for brunch and lunch and the service was fast but yet the food was freshly prepared. If I am in the area again I would definitely pay a visit here, They have a lovely atmosphere, staff and presentation as well as a good menu at decent value

I like this place and think they have a pretty decent menu. They also make a really good effort with vegetarian food. The staff were really nice on this particular occasion and checked a few times (but not overkill) to see if there was anything we needed etc. It's also a nice atmosphere to feel like you're in a pub but yet it's not pub grub. However, even though I think the food is nice etc I do think some of the dishes are a little overpriced.

I went here for the first time recently. The place was quite nice but a little cramped as a lot of the reviews here state. It was nice that they had a vegetarian menu when asked. I started with the vegetarian nachos which was really good because it had actually veg under a sea of grated cheese. When my main arrived I thought the portion looked quite small, but it turned out to be quite filling. We had originally booked for 10 but only 6 of us were able to arrive and the waiter who showed us to our table was a bit snappy about the fact that not everyone had turned up. I think on the weekend evenings the place is pretty pricey but they seem to have some good deals during the week and for lunch. I would probably go here again.

I really like this restaurant. The staffa re very friendly and accomodating and the food is fabulous. Pizzas made to order and the salads are really tasty. We got bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar while waiting on the food to have with our wine which is always a nice touch. The ice cream tastes homemade (I believe it is imported from Italy) and of course they have great coffee to top off a meal. Good food and decent value.

Luigis is definitely the best chip shop in Longford. They have introduced pizza too which is delicious and good value. They have a huge selection to choose from on the menu and the service is extremely fast and the staff are friendly. The portions of chips a pretty bif and definitely value for money. If you're passing through Longford or living there, a fantastic place to eat.

I love the food here. It is a great place to go to start a night out but is also very affordable if you just fancy a bite to eat. They have a fantastic selection of everything on the menu, so there is something to suit everyone. The atmosphere is great, although sometimes it can be a little too dark! The staff and friendly and pleasant and the best thing of all is that the bill doesn't break the bank!

I really like this place. The atmosphere was really nice with candles and dim lighting. The majority of the staff were Spanish so it almost felt you were abroad, also the staff were friendly. They had a fantastic range of vegetarian dishes to choose from and it all tasted great. The only thing I am taking points off for is because they forgot to deliver one of our dishes (the place was extremely busy) but I would definitely go here again as you get what you pay for and they have a good range of wines to select from.

There wasn't many people in the place but the service was extremely slow. We got the food in decent enough time but we were waiting forever to order. We ordered the marinated olives with our drinks and they looked like they had been beaten up, so this was a little disappointing. The staff were friendly but as I said the service was slow.
The food was decent enough too and not too overpriced. The atmosphere of the place could have been a bit better. We had a candle etc on our table but it hadn't been lit, I think if they improved their service and the atmosphere, they could do very well.

I agree with the last reviewer that some of the staff can be extremely sour. However, Torc has the best cappuccino I have ever had.
Their lunch time menu is also very good value with their paninis, wraps and their pizza menu which is nice and also affordable.
They usually do have a great selection of cakes and cookie as well as sweets, making it appealing for all the family. However it is more of a venue to meet a friend for lunch or a quiet coffee.

When this restaurant first opened it was probably the best in Longford. However it has really gone down over the years. One thing about the place is that you have a feeling that the staff hover over you, the second you put your fork on the plate they are over to take it away, which may sound very attentive but you feel like you're being watched the whole time and it's really annoying.
The food used to be a lot better too. Everything in the dish tastes the same, a carrot tastes like a mushroom etc. But maybe it's because there is a lot of msg in westernised Chinese food.
It has really nice decor etc, just if the staff laid off and stopped watching your table and maybe they focused on the taste of the food, this place could be what it used to be

I have only been here the once, not the type of place you go to every day as it's extremely expensive. However, the food is amazing and the staff are very friendly. On arrival at the table you have a selection of breads with the best homemade hummus I have ever tasted.
The vegetarian options were really nice, a little different than most places. The place generally is really nice but I do feel it is very overpriced, including the wine. For four of us, the bill was over €300, so definitely only going here on special occasions!

Love this place! Great options from the menu, the pasta dishes are huge, so definitely be ready for a big meal! However it's no problem to take it home with you, unfortunately we were going out after and weren't able to take it with us, it was delicious!
I ordered a side portion of olives and got a huge dish, which is the biggest I have gotten anywhere.
The waiters are really nice and friendly and that makes all the difference in a restaurant. I got a tagliatelle dish and honestly it could have fed 3 people! So go here on a very empty stomach to get the best experience:)

I have been here twice recently and it's a great spot to have on Talbot street, especially if you travel via Connolly station often.
They have some great early bird options, one with a glass of wine or one without.
The atmoshpere is chilled out and relaxed and it has nice air conditioning which was fantastic because it was such a warm day!
I had the brushetta for starter and a mushroom and brocolli fettucine dish as a main course and it was yummy.
My mother got the soup which she said was delicious and the vegetarian pizza which was really nice.
I would definitely be going back here as it's a nice little spot to stop off in and takes you out of the busy city momentarily

An absolutely amazing restaurant on Capel Street.
The first time I went here I got the bento box at lunch time and it's a great thing to get as a first timer as you get to sample a little bit of everything so you can then decide on a favourite for next time.
The staff are very friendly and the food is incredible and is nicely presented.
They also deliver so it's excellent for a take away as well, however the full menu doesn't seem to be available for delivery yet.
Another impressive thing was complimentary sanitary towels in the female toilets which was something I had never seen before.
Definitely a great spot and once they get their alcohol license it will be handy too

I love South Street! The food is amazing and the price is suitable for anyone! The lunch option is fantastic with a starter and main course for 9.99. I go here a lot and the staff are friendly and recently when I haven't been able to finish my main course, the staff ask if you want it wrapped up to take home for later!
So affordable and so tasty and the staff are friendly and the restaurant in general has a nice vibe.
One of the best in Dublin and great vegetarian options available!

Went here on Valentines night and was pretty excited to try it. As a vegetarian I ordered veggie options from the menu as well as telling our server that I was vegetarian and ensuring that none of the food had meat or fish in it. I was delighted when the waiter told me that he could have the chef make me some vegetarian miso soup without the fish stock etc. However, as I drank/ate my soup I soon discovered it was full of crab...I told the waiter and waitress and they didn't seem too concerned, in fact thought it was a bit on the funny side. And decided that bringing me some other grotesque looking thing would make things ok. Had they reacted in a proper manner about this, I wouldn't be giving such a bad review, but it really destroyed the evening and the lack of care ruined it even more.

Went here last night with friends! The food was very nice but a little bit pricey at the same time. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. The view out onto the bay is also really nice too, however I thought there could have been a little more lighting in the place.
There aren't many vegetarian options on the menu but my friends seemed delighted with their meat dishes.
Dessert was also yummy. I would come here again but it might not be my number one choice for a Mexican restaurant. I think the staff's attitude made it that little bit better though

I went here for lunch today and this was only my second time eating there. They have a great lunch menu and many vegetarian options. The staff are really friendly too.
It's a great place to go to choose from a nice mix of food. I opted for the homemade soup and toasted sandwich and it was great with a nice athmosphere with the lunch time crowd.
I will be going back here to sample some more their veggie options!

I have been here a couple of times now and find the food to be amazing!
The service is also quite good and you aren't waiting too long for the food but it is still nice and fresh.
The staff are polite and friendly and the athmosphere is relaxing and nice for lunch especially if you're having a busy day in the office!
The menu is diverse and has a lot of options available for vegetarians.
You can also create your own pasta dish which is a definite favourite in this restaurant.
This is perfect for lunch or dinner and would be a great place to start a night out

I got to Simon's place quite regularly and I really enjoy their salads as well as their yummy desserts.
It's in a great location and has a nice bohemian feel to it. The staff are also quite friendly too and the food can be eaten there in the cafe or if you're in a rush you can take it away.
As much as I love Simon's Place, I do find that it's a little overpriced which tends to put me off going here every day

I've only started eating here recently and I'm wondering why I hadn't been eating here sooner! I love Japanese food and usually go to another restaurant in town which can be quite pricey. Yo Sushi is very good value and handy that you can pick dishes so you can have portions of many different foods instead of the one dish.
When you eat in they also give you unlimited Miso soup (which is all vegetarian) when you pay for one bowl.
On Mondays they also do all plates for 3 euro so it's good way to start the week.
You don't have to eat at the sushi bar, you can order whatever food you want and its all freshly prepared and yum!

I went here for lunch and have to say it was really tasty.
It was quite busy around this time of day so the service was a little slower than usual I'd imagine.
However, the staff were very pleasant and polite.
They have a lovely range of teas and even the teapots they are presented in are really nice.
The menu had a nice range of options and is perfect for a lunch time or early evening meal.
It's in a nice setting and if you sit upstairs you have a nice view of South William Street.

Went here today with 2 work colleague for lunch.
The menu looked intriguing and we thought the idea of the lunch 'if not eating in 9 minutes, eat free' was a great idea.
So away we ordered and one of my colleagues decided to time the wait time on his phone, just in a light hearted way.
We ended up waiting 18 minutes and my colleague pointed this out to the waiter who was unbelievably rude and walked away from the table.
My colleague then called him back and told him he was shocked at how rude he had been and the waiter told him 'not to be so anal timing it'.
We were utterly disgusted.
The presentation of the food is nice but overall I found teh food quite average but the place was left tainted from this waiter's rudeness.
I won't be going back here in a hurry especially when they advertise 'eat in 9 minutes or eat free' and don't even stick to it!

I went here with a group of friends a couple of days ago. I had never been before and we were all quite excited about going here as we had checked the menu online etc.
We were sitting right beside the door because there is a big table there. It was a little too bright in this section but nevertheless we checked out the menu, which was different to the one online. They no longer do the vegetarian burger (many people in the group were veggies) and didn't have many options. As a started I ordered the hummus with the pitta bread and it was very badly presented, there was barely any bread with it and definitely was not worth the price.
For a main I ordered the "beet yourself up" which wasn't fantastic either and was definitely overpriced as it was just two pieces of the "pie" with a salad and a dip.
A couple of the waiting staff were polite but a couple of them were slightly ignorant and cheeky. Service charge is included in the bill, which was a joke considering the service.
I won't be going back here and overall we were very disappointed with the quality of the food and the service.

I went here yesterday with friends and ordered from the Early bird menu which I had only experienced once a few months ago. As a vegetarian it was nice to see they had some options and also when we asked if we could have the nachos without the chilli they were more than willing and we were given a generous helping of nachos/jalapenos/sour cream/salsa and cheese as a starter. The food was very tasty and filling that we were almost full before the main. I opted for vegetarian fajitas and they don't scrimp on the amount of food here either, you are given a decent portion. The profriteroles were also delicious and accompanied by a glass of wine, all this for €20 really is a nice meal out and a nice place to go with your friends, especially if you're on a budget

I had not been to this place in a while and it really is a nice restaurant. However I was a bit disappointed because I had been looking at the menu online and it didn't match the menu we were presented with. It would be nice if they had a bigger variety of Vegetarian options. However, we had a lovely meal, started with the butternut squash soup with is lovely. The staff were very friendly and the meal worked out to be very reasonable, I will definitely be going back here, it's a nice meal out and gives you the opportunity to dress up a bit

I love Taste of Emilia and visit here as much as I can. When going here for a drink or two they offer olives and crisps (like tapas) and the best thing about this place is that it is all authentic, the olives are stoned which I think are difficult to come by in Dublin these days.
The food is also amazing here and is freshly made, the Brushettas are nice and filling and the staff are friendly and very welcoming. This is definitely somewhere that I will make a regular eating out and drinks venue.

Everytime I go here I am never let down, a friend said she wasnt as impressed with the food lately but we visited last week and food tasted even better than it ususually does. The portions are really big and very godo value and a great thing is if you don't finish your meal they have no problem with you bringing it home, they give you the little lunchboxes etc. Myself and my friend each got a main course and rice extra and a drink and the total came to something like €23, what a bargain! I would definitely recommend this place, I have been going here since Moore street days and the standard just keeps getting better!

I think Eddie Rockets has gone a little downhill recently, its very hit and miss, sometimes the food can be really tasty but the last time it just tasted weird and slightly overcooked. For what you get aswell the prices are quite high. Recently I asked for salad in a burger bun as I didnt want the veggie burger and they told me they would have to charge me €5 for it!! I don't think they are great adapting to the wants of customers!

I would consider this place to be your average pizza joint but the name and the decor makes it sound a little posher. The food is ok, wouldnt go mad about it but it did the job. I have gone here for lunch many times because I work in the area. The food is quite good, especially the pizzas and their gnocci. The Only thing is for what it is, it's a little overpriced. I have brought people there before and they weren't that impressed with what they got for the price they are paying. They have lots of nice breads that they make themselves. The place is always packed which can leave you waiting a long time for a table. However, maybe in the future I would return again.

Charlies is ideal after a night out and you fancy something to eat. obviously it isnt the best chinese food as it is fast food! One thing I always notice about any food I have had from here is that it always tastes very peppery (in all charlies not just 4!) Also, for a fast food reference, it's not exactly cheap in comparison to other chinese restaurants in the city. However, it opens late and you don't have to wait too long to get your food.

If you ask me the boxty served here isn't even proper boxty! Boxty comes from back in the day and is still available to buy in shopps mainly in the midlands and it tastes a lot nicer than the food in here. Also they menu and staff can be misleading, I went in for breakfast and was asked what juice I would like with my breakfast and would I prefer tea or coffee, turned out neither were included in it and he made it out like they were. The breakfast ended up costing about 16 euro!

I was not impressed with this place at all. First of all they have nothing vegetarian on the menu, the only thing resembling vegetarian is the dish with goats cheese, which most veggies don't eat. My meal consisted of bread and more bread. I would not recommend to non meat eaters

The food here is quite nice and tasty, it's always great to have a vegetarian restaurant to go to. The only thing here is that the service is very slow, my friend ordered a coffee and ajuice and never got the juice but didnt bother asking again because she knew it would take ages.
The food in the evening is quite overpriced for what you get considering the dish could be one third of that price at lunch time. Good place to go if you're vegetarian and at a loss, but don't go there if you have to be somewhere in a hurry!

The rocket salad was just that, pieces of rocket, no dressing or anything, the setting of the restaurant is very cramped and the staff seem to just want to get dealing with you over and done with. I have eaten here a few times, The food is generally nice but they never seem to listen to the customer. If you ask for a two starters as a main course, they bring it out on two different big plates, so it's nearly impossible to eat your meal. Also, they will only serve you main meals if it is busy.
It's luck of the draw with some of the staff. Some are very friendly, the rest look like they just don't want to be there. Questionable about how fresh the food is as it is brought to the tables nearly seconds after ordering. However they have good daytime specials

I am a regular visitor to Yamamori and most of the time have enjoyed the food that I have ordered, however lately I think their standards have fallen slightly. The food is a lot more greasier than usual and although the staff are very friendly, they have on two occasions failed to return my change of approximately ten euro believing it to be a tip. I think it would also be a good idea to offer two types of bento boxes (two vegetarian and two meat) to give a broader selection as it can be very hit and miss.

I found Cafe Novo to be a nice place to eat. The setting is lovely, the staff are really friendly and even the manager comes to see you are satisfied. They were very good with adapting the starters for us to split between myself and my friend and advised us on the size of the main courses etc. The only reason I would deduct a star is because they only have one vegetarian option on the evening menu. I think if they were to acquire a few more vegetarian dishes it's clientele would grow even more
