After a longtime plans we at last managed to go to nandos in swords . Food definitely to my liking, the sauce they provide is an absolute delight. Staff very helpful advising the menu items. Items on the menu priced reasonably.

We went here for dinner. Very nice place and the sea views are great. Our experience: Fresh food as you can expect from any Seafood restaurant and Hattsoff to the Chef great skill with a combination of items on the same plate. But they need to work little bit on the prices far too expensive considering the current climate very pricey not even in the best seafood restaurants that are there for ages now charge those prices any more. Little bit more attention from the staff would be nice felt a bit embarrassed good few times. Will we go there again is a big question?

We went here for early bird as it was one of that restaurant that I would think of to go any time. it was a very disappointing experience . The food in particular felt like as it it was left over from Sunday, bit of smell, no flavour what so ever. It was that same with my partners meal too. Hope it was once off but don't know to be sure. Wanted to go there last night but could only think of the experience we had last time and couldn't dare to go.

Three of us went here for dinner. Very unique menu designed never saw a similar one anywhere. Set menu all he main courses are priced and says two course or three course. Our daughter had chicken goujons n chips- nice homemade finished until the last bite.
My partner n I had chicken liver pâté & roast lamb kidney as starters very delicious, for mains we had duck and venison again cooked to perfection with loads of flavours. Potato gratin side was fabulous. Overall returned happily very stuffed. To me it was the best restaurant when talking about food keeping everything else aside. Will look forward going soon.

Three of us went here for dinner to celebrate my birthday. We had a voucher from pigsback.The menu was a good combination of the great produce locally sourced. We ordered fish n chips and Ice-cream for our daughter which she enjoyed it very much. I had goats cheese starter and risotto main and they were simply super. My partner had Fish cake starter and monkfish main. Thee portions were quite generous, Food was absolutely delicious, staff very friendly and welcoming, couldn't ask for anything else. Had a lovely time and a great evening thanks a lot to everyone.

Two of us went here for dinner. The food was Great an the menu was what I look forward to eat most of the time. I had wood pigeon starter and venison main both of them were super. My partner had salmon starter and lamb for main he was delighted with his choice.
There is one thing that I felt a little let down, upon entering the restaurant there was no one to great or make us comfortable showing the table etc. we waited at the front door then went to the kind of bar area an asked them if we can have a table. Well it was the same with all the tables who came after us. It is a little suggestion to make your guests feel welcome.

Three of us went here for dinner. Childrens menu is super. Fresh food best served to little one's liking. I had caramelised Onion & venison both of them were great. My partner had Donegal salmon & fish of the day, The main course he had was awful. There is not much choice on the menu and if you are in for early bird times you can't order anything from A'la carte.

3 of us went to Aqua for dinner. Delighted to get a table by the window and the view was amazing overlooking the sea. We had Lobster Thermidor, Chiken liver pate, as starters and Dover sole & calamari as main. Food was excellent and service was attention to detail. Three of us went here for dinner. Had lemon sole, Chowder , Calamari, Mussels food was fresh as usual but was lacking flavour. They don't have Prawns in garlic butter anymore which is a pitty I think as my partner loves prawns and everytime we were there his first choice would have been prawns. We visited here for 2B&B1D, will we drive so far again ? Maybe yes . Our daughter loved this place to bits. There is everything in the hotel for a nice family holiday. It was windy, rainny & snowing a bit , but were amazed to spend every minute at the hotel which we don't normally like to do. Staff very friendly and helpful.Great place. Thank you.

Went here for Sunday Lunch we had a veg platter and non-Veg Platter mixed views for Mains we had Lamb and Prawn Curry Prawns were delicious though lamb not that tender felt quite full and ordered dessert of the day. Overall good food and atmosphere felt something lacking. Will try out Dinner menu next time.

We went there for early bird and we were the only table that evening until we left. We had kebab and prawn to start and chicken and lamb curry for mains. They have good option of Naan bread we had coriander and malai Naan they were quite heavy couldn't eat anything more. Was disappointed a bit as we were recommended not up to expectations.

We went there for Early bird for a minute thought they are closed but the guys working there said the restaurant is upstairs as they are refurbishing. Nice art at the stairs. We had kebab & prawn starter and lamb and prawns for our mains and dessert of the day. Thought there is not much choice but again 3course for €19.95 they had a good menu. Staff were very friendly heard a lot about Kinara lived up to expectations. Tried all there restaurants they are all good.

We went there on Tuesday it was full and people were waiting to be seated. For starters we had chicken soup and spring rolls and Mains Duck and Prawns. Chicken soup and Prawns were good but very disappointed with spring rolls that too in Chinese restaurant very very disappointed with duck as it was overcooked and bland. We thought of having desserts Mains were cleared and bill was dropped at the table felt as if they just want us to leave had starters and mains in 45minutes.

Me and my partner went here for early bird. I had Lamb kofta and lamb bhuna and my partner had machli aloo ki tiki and Prawn Curry. I was a bit disappointed with my starter I felt like chili paste was garnished on top of lamb kofta and the kofta had no taste what so ever. But the lamb curry and prawn curry were both good.

We went there for dinner on saturday, was amazed to see that there was one more table of 4people at 8PM on a nice bright evening.Ordered starter of mixed platter should say was terrible onion bhaji was too oily and tough, samosa was not fried properly, think was bought frozen from an Indian groceries fried when ordered, Potato cake was a bit ok For main course we had bhendi , Dhal and lamb curry with naan bread and Rice.Waitress was kind to offer two choice of curries in small portions, service was good. Wine we ordered smelt and tasted horrible looked like was opened a while ago. bhendi was ok but everything else was not upto our liking. we left the place around 10PM and still was no sign of anyone coming therre.Left with a horrible feeling of sickness and would never go back again.

We went here in 2007 when we use to live in clontarf , Did not feel any big change now, but was pleasant and very good experience on both the occasions .I went here with my partner early in the morning , There was just one more table but by the time we were finished it got quite busy. We went to Johnnie fox's for my Partner's Birthday. The pub and the atmosphere is simply great and an amazing experience to try.For starter I had Mussels which were amazing my partner had seafood chowder which was a bit salty our toddler had Colcannon soup which was great again.For Main course I had Mahi Mahi fox's special which was good and my partner had King prawn curry which tasted like mixed seafood in tomato sauce straight from the jar. We were at Ivans for early bird yesterday.Was very busy for a Monday night.I had Sardines and my partner had Fish Soup as starters mine was good but the fish soup was a disaster.Main course arrived quickly both of had a fish dish, I had a fish that was well cooked & was perfect but the plate was decorated with sweet which made me sad, my partner was curious to have some dessert and we saw no sign of anybody to ask if we would like to have something had to leave without any dessert.Overall experience good fresh seafood for seafood lovers would have been better if there was a bit more choice.

I have been to silks with my Husband for our Anniversary. I ordered chicken & mushroom soup and the soup smelled horrible, we waited for 20 minutes for our starters to be cleared & waited for around 40 minutes for the main course to arrive. It was a bank holiday Monday, and seemed they had plenty of staff but most of them inexperienced. While we were waiting a waiter came to our table twice with a tray of drinks asking if they were ordered by us, when said no, she left us, asking other tables. I ordered Szechuan Duck and my husband ordered king prawns with chili and black bean sauce, when I tasted duck it was good and I liked it but when I tasted his dish it was of the same flavours. Overall experience was not satisfactory, probably they had a busy weekend. Give another try to see if it is any better.
