there was few communion dinner party when we went so the menu choices were very limited, including starter and dessert. this was slightly disappointing as we have brought our friend from overseas wanting to try their food. dishes on menu were mainly of carvery type, which you can easily get in a pub. no fish & chips or lots of nice dishes we used to have.. our friend like the setting ,but there were lots of kids running around.service was a bit slow. overall ok experience, maybe we just went on the wrong day.

haven't beem here in 2 years and the restaurant has a new deco. we also noticed the price of dishes has dropped, which is always good:) Service is prompt & no fuss. i had pad thai which came is very hugh portion and delicious too. my husband always like the nasi goreng but it seems to have shrunk in size and didn't taste as nice as before. a little disappointed.

love this place, this is the second time we were there. first time we went for dinner this time we went for lunch. wide selection of sushi , noodles and bento box. the price is very very reasonable too. i like the layout and the ambient-relaxed, no fuss. service is good too. i had the seafood ramen which came in very hugh portion and it was yummy.

this is one of the restaurant i go back again & again. i was a bit dissapointed to find that their lunch menu didn't include the complementary drink anymore. apart from that, service is prompt,wide range of selection on menu and food is good. The male manager was there when we were there, and dropped by to ask us if everything was ok. i always find the managers and staffs very friendly. one thing i found is that the dessert-toblerone cheesecake has shrunk in size with the same price, and they don't have the promotion for dessert+tea/coffee anymore. however, toblerone cheesecake still taste as good, it's one of my favourite here and you should try.

we were given gift voucher from a friend last year and it's due to expire soon so we decided to go for lunch with the voucher. we went there last Saturday, and were surprised to find that the door was still closed as far as we were told it opened at 12pm (also on website), we waited for few minutes finally saw a lady (probable employee) and said it'll only open at 2pm. as we had other plans we didn't wait. subsequently we returned yesterday for dinner. The food were average, mixture of Thai & chinese. however the staffs were friendly, the atmosphere was more of hip not so much romantic feel. It was ok and would consider going back.

we had the early bird here last night. We arrived at 6pm when it first opened and there were already 3 tables then. It is a nice restaurant with high ceiling, elegant contemporary design. There were a few waiters , including the manager. Service was top quality, waiters very polite & attentive yet not intrusive, leaving us just enough time to decide on the meals and wine. The early bird menu is relatively limited (3 chioces each for starters, main, desserts) but it had what we wanted. my starter of scallops was succulent & delicious.my partner had the gonocchi & duck confit, slightly dissapointed with it as only few streaks of duck confit on top of gonocchi . Nevertheless, his main course of 8oz ribe eye steak made up for it. My trout was very good too.We both had the toffee pudding, it was hugh portion, very moist and just right for the sweetness.very well with their vanilla ice cream. The presentations of all the food were top quality.There were people coming in from time to time, by the time we finish half the restaurant was filled. Atmosphere was just right. the 3 course dinner for 2, plus half bottle red wine & tips come up to 70 Euro which is very reasonable for the service & food we get. We would be going back again for their early bird ,but would be a bonus if they change their menu.

a group of 4 of us had dinner here. we ordered chicken tandoori, chicken patia(sweet & sour curry), lamb & beef (can't remember the sauce's name).we thought the food is rather blend & tasteless, like they have been out of ready made packet. the portions were also small, and the pilau rice accompanying the dish was nothing close to the real pilau rice we have tasted. The price is also higher than other Indian restaurants around the vicinity. we expected better food but this has really let us down.

went for the lunch meal for 8.95 euro. we were happy with the service. there was only 2 staffs working at that time, it was busy with the restaurant half full but the staffs were attentive & friendly. for the starters, it would have been better if they have more choices on the menu. we both went for brushetta, it was nice. for mains i had the salmon & my friend had the meatballs with rice. the servings looked small but it was just enough to fill our stomach. wine was a bit on dry side too but we have no complaints for the 8.95 euro we paid each.

we were recommended by a friend to try their fish & chips here.arrived yesterday about 7.45 pm, were looking forward to our fresh cod fish & chips but they were all sold out! instead we got whiting, plaice & grill trout. Food were good with decent portion. the interior deco & the atmosphere was a bit let down. for the similar or just slightly higher price,we have dined at a much nicer restaurant with similar quality of food. It's ok for a quick meal but wouldn't be a place for special occasions.

second time at this restaurant. was here for dinner 2 yrs ago, back for lunch today. this restaurant is set in a beautiful place overlooking a bay area. It has good 'pub-like' atmosphere. they do lunch carvery too but we ordered from the menu. my partner was looking forward to his ribs as it was very nice 2 yrs ago. He still enjoyed his ribs today,but found the portion has shrunk to half the size. another friend had the crab claws with prawns and again found the potrion has reduced. i had the seafood bake which was tasty enough. we would return if passing by again.

here with group of 5 on Stephen's day. we had the set lunch menu, i had the chicken satay as starter and the portion was hugh. The prawns with ginger as my main was so so only, a wine of glass was included.my companian had the duck with blackbean sauce, the satay chicken as starter and they were quite tasty. there weren't lots of people and the atmosphere wasn't great, the whole place was quite cold. the waitress was friendly enough . might return.

was here recently with a friend. was just passing by, thought it looked very expensive from it's exterior but on a closer look at the menu it was quite reasonable so we decided to give it a go. we ordered the Tefal dishes to share, i think there were about 6 or 7 different dishes that all came at once. They were all nicely presented and though they looked rather small portion, we were very full when finished. we loved the pork belly, the squid etc. The tefal dishes were a good introduction to Indonesian food because we wouldn't really have known what to order. The food were tasty, the atmosphere warm, staffs were friendly. we enjoyed our mean there, will go back to try the early bird menu.

went for lunch with group of 6. The place was packed luckily we had a booking. we were quickly guided to our seats and our orders taken as soon as we were ready.The staffs were friendly and very attentive, came over asking if everything was ok a few times, always with a smile. we had the smoked makarel, irish stew, sausage etc. The food were fanstatic and nobody had a complaint. we also had two bottles of wine and desserts,the bill came under 200 euro. would go back again.

very sleek & modern design, staffs very attentive. Good place if you want a quiet/romantioc meal. we had the early bird menu which was good value. Food very tasty. overall a pleasant experience. the lunch buffet is value for money and a must-try! we really enjoyed the great selections of food and were surprised that there was no delay in replenishing the emptied food. lots of seafood which suited my taste. It was really crowded and noisy when we were there, good place for group outing. will be back.

Nice restaurant and great food. make sure you ask for their chinese menu including the dim sum and you'll be surprised there are lots of authentic food different from the usual set lunch/dinner menu. The staffs are friendly and service was good. Been here few times and will go back again.

we had been here twice for dinner 1 year ago but decided to give it a try for lunch today. we had read about bad reviews esp the service of the restaurant but it was quite a pleasant experience. There were 2 waitress serving and 1 at the counter. we didn't have to wait for long to be seated, ordering food and for the food on table all took about 15-20 minutes. we were asked 3 times throughout our meal if everything was ok. we had the mushroom with blue cheese for starter which was nicely done. The mains were average. my friend had the meatball with spaghetti, i had the chicken pizza. The spaghetti could do with more meatballs, and the pizza was a bit dry. the bill came to 33 euro. The service was not as bad as in the reviews, perhaps it was afternoon & they were not too busy. will consider coming back.

Went in for coffee & dessert after a walk along the prom. Nice & relaxing atmosphere. Desserts portion are big. We ordered bonoffi pie, tiramisu & brownies and all came with a scoop of vanilla icecream on the side. Very nicely presented. Chairs were very comfortable too. Nice place to catch up with friends.

went there for dinner on Friday. we got a table near the mill which was lovely. Most of the menu is vegetarian. we enjoyed the bruschetta & leek soup. For main, we had gonocchi and raviolli which were tasty but the raviolli portion was small. Though we enjoyed our romantic meal, don't think we will be going back in a hurry because we find the menu options are rather limited.

Great place to go for great food. Very good value for money...each portion of rice/noodle can easily fill 2 persons. The menu looks really appetising just from reading it. I love this place have been coming if I come down to Galway. Great place for casual dining, and the selections of pizza is one of the most interesting around the region, slightly different from the norm especially love the chili bean pizza and BBQ pork rib pizza. Been here a few times. Great place for a quick bite. They do the set lunch on weekends which is great (12.50 euro for starter & main). You are sure to get tasty food with good value. Decor is a bit out-dated but would recommend this restaurant.
