I was here for lunch on Monday with my boyfriend. We both chose from the specials menu which maybe was a bit of a mistake! I had the "prawns pasta" which actually tasted like tinned shrimp mixed with pasta and tomato sauce. My boyfriend chose a chicken dish in a mushroom and garlic sauce which he said was quite tasty but at €19 was overpriced considering it was served with frozen vegetables, bit disappointing to say the least. The only saving graces for this restaurant were the lovely atmosphere and friendly service.

I went here for dinner with my boyfriend on Monday. Food was ok, nothing too special. I had chicken fajitas and my boyfriend had the smoked chicken pasta, partly because there was very little else available on the menu "due to the busy weekend". Service wasn’t great.

I have gone to McSwiggans each time I visit Galway and it never disappoints. On Tuesday I went here for dinner with a friend and it was as good as ever. The food is good quality and reasonably priced. Overall we had a great time here, there is a lovely atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and attentive.

Went here for dinner last night, it was recommended to me by a friend. Was good atmosphere for a Wednesday night. Food was lovely, all the vegetables were really fresh. The Yaki Udon was gorgeous. This place is much betterthan other similar restaurants; they don't rush your food or rush you out when you've finished.
