Am I the only one???
My partner and i visited here for an evening and we both feel like the kid from the Emperors new clothes.
I just didn't get it, it wasn't great, not by a long shot.
We were rushed, our order was mixed up, we never saw the same waiter twice, and the food was nothing to write home about ( or on menu pages)
I really wanted to enjoy this, i had such high expectations.
Its not as if that area doesn't have a dozen French establishments we can go to instead, so I wont loose any sleep over it..
Its just a shame that we obviously didn't get what other people got in the past....
oh well. you win some.. you loose some...

I bought one of those Deals vouchers on Deals.ie and got a meal here for €40 for two people to include 2 glasses of wine, 2 mains and 2 starters.
From the moment we entered, they were aware that we had a voucher, but they treated us absolutely no differently to anyone else, they were pleasant, attentive and effortlessly courteous.
We were greeted at the door by one of the Stokes twins, he showed no sign of the worries that the papers claimed he was experiencing, he showed us to our table and took our coats.
The meal was stunning, my Fillet steak was the best iv had in... well i cant remember the last time i had a steak cooked so perfectly. Our starters and Sweet was also spot on, we ordered more wine and cheese and loved every second.
Next time i wont wait for a voucher!

Went here with 5 friends from work as one of us was moving on to a new job. I have to admit that I have been on more than one occasion and each time iv been impressed.
Our Party took its time arriving and in all we were probably almost an hour late ordering our mains, however Margaret the manager couldn't have been more accommodating.
The Food, as always, was simply perfect, the manager is quite simply the best front of house manager anywhere in North Dublin.
Then we all left and strolled down the waters edge and continued the night away.
I cant wait until the next time!

Visited here for my Birthday with my partner last night. Id heard lots of good things said about this place and wanted to check it out for a while.
The setting is simply superb, we were in the window over looking the canal, as it happened the rain never stopped falling, however when we looked out on the streets it just added a real Parisian feel.
The Interior is beautiful, simple but spacious, comfortable and very private, you do not feel you are being over looked or squeezed into a tight spot.
The food was simply perfect, the Basil Tart at the end was an welcome unusual finish. Our waitress was just a joy, attentive, pleasant, the perfect mix of bubbly and attentive.
Toilets were spotless, every single member of staff was polite and addressed you as you past.
Top Marks, ill be back!

Came here last Sunday evening after reading the reviews on here.
ill keep it simple but to the point.
Yeah the waiting staff are kinda useless. he forgot my Diet Coke and one of teh side orders.
However once we reminded him it was quick and with a smile.
the food is the reason you come here, and its the reason ill return.
Good food, cheap as chips, and you leave feeling full and satisified.
Speed the staff up if they forget your food and dont TIP if your unhappy with them.. but enjoy the food!

This really is someting special, the most fantastic setting, is complimented by great lighting and seating tha tis comfortable and cosy without being cramped.
The Staff knew the menu inside out, recommended when i couldnt make up my mind and even brough out samples for my partner to taste.
The food was perfect, not pretentious or over fussed, just perfect.
Dinner for 2, with Starters Mains, sides Desserts, Wine and a glass of champage for less than €100. you cant go wrong.
The owner cleverly treats each night as if it were the opening night and each person as if they were the only people in the room.
Ill be back!

Viisted here on what turned ou tto be a very busy Wednesday evening.
Seated within a few minutes and food arrived within 15 minutes.
Been a few times now and you just cant fault the value and service.
Simply put, it is what it is, great tasting gourmet style burgers, but with enough flavours and twists to mix it up each and every time.
Great staff, and the wrap is a great alternative to the heavy bun, it leaves you feeling satisfied rather than stuffed.

Kennedy s never fails to impress. Sunday morning breakfast is delightful. Amazing brown soda made in house. Good quality meats and produce that show through in the cooking. Nothing elaborate, pretentious or outlandish, just great food, cooked perfectly. Will continue to return..

Very Disappointed! Booked at L'Atmosphere on the back of its good review on here. We were positioned near the door under a gaping hole in the roof. Every time the door opened we had to endure a freezing breeze. As a result our meal went cold in minutes. 6 times in 5 minutes I had to get up to close the door because of the cold. When we complained to the waiter, we were told that they were well aware of how cold it was and that we should talk to the owner- out comes the owner/chef. who refused to accept it was cold. even though other guests on separate tables agreed- The offer of a voucher which we declined was too little too late. Tom Doorley obviously visited on a good day- wont be back and wouldn't recommend.
