I visited the Saddle Room for the Early Bird special, which was great value. There was no feeling of being rushed to make the table available for a later sitting. The food was very good, with a good selection from the table d'hote menu. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, without being over-bearing. The one fault I would have is the location of the tables for 2, which are very close together, and the tables are quite wide so I had quite a problem conversing with my dinner companion and had to lean forward all the time. Overall great value for money in a high-class restaurant, but the seating would put me off going again.

This was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. I booked the early bird menu, which was great value - 3 courses for €25. The combination of food flavours was delicious and worked well. The portions were just right, and left plenty of room for all 3 courses, not the full stodgy feeling you get in many restaurants. And the amuse bouche was delightful - it was a sight to behold. As wonderful as the food was, the icing on the cake was the fantastic service. Our waitress was charming and very knowledgeable on all aspects of the menu. It was obvous that she knows and loves her food! All in all, I couldn't recommend this restaurant enough.
