I went here for lunch during work, pleasantly surprised when we realised there was a lunch deal - soup and sandwich for €10.50. However, this was no ordinary soup & sambo lunch combo.......it was an amazing celariac soup, the nicest i'd ever tasted and a lovely open chicken, bacon, avocado and mixed leaves sandwich. I'd say calling it gourmet soup and sambo combo would be summing it up perfectly! The staff were very friendly and attentive. We were all very pleased with our lunches, and have returned several times since! I'd recommend it to anyone!

Frequently go here for lunch as it's very local to my office. The lunch menu is great value- soup and sambo/panini combo for around €7.50. Also has a daily stew special, which I tried once - it was also very good! Staff are always very friendly and attentive, and the food is always served speedily which is handy for lunchtime. Good atmosphere for a chat, and doesn't smell too much like a pub, which can be off-putting for a mid-week lunch. All in all, the perfect lunch spot!

Perfect aprés drink feast! Brilliant value! Can't say enough good about the burritos, my personal favourite is the Silver Bullet! One of the few burrito places I've found that do minced beef, not just shredded beef (open to correction on this). The staff are always super friendly and the queue normally moves quite quickly! Can't fault it to be honest! It's also perfect for a quick bite on the go for lunch!

Went to JD's for a family dinner,I rang in advance to reserve a table,mentioning that I had a Menupages deal.When we arrived I was asked for my voucher and we were told we would be seated.The downstairs was filling up but by no means full, plenty of room for 3 people,however we were sat upstairs in a room that was empty except for a table of about 16 children aged between 9-12.Considering the room was empty except for the large party of children(could've been in McDonalds), we were sat in the table directly NEXT to them I cant help but feel that our table situation was a direct result of our menupages offer, was our prepaid money not good enough!? I asked to be moved downstairs but was told it was full, we then asked could we move to a table a little further away from the children.Table disaster over, we decided to move on and enjoy the evening,but this was short lived when we were left waiting 15 mins before our drinks order was even taken!Sloppy and mistimed service were to be a reoccurring theme of our evening.One starter coming out a good ten minutes before the other2, however,for the mains, the 2 mains steaks came out at least 10 mins before the third main.One steak was not cooked to order, it was rare, not medium-well! My steak was made up of a slightly smaller than expected medium-well fillet steak, which would have been okay if the chef hadn't lobbed on a burned scraggle of steak beside it to obviously make up my moneysworth of 10ozs.I must also add that every order or delivery of food had been done by a different member of staff,as had the cleaning of the table between courses, however,come dessert we seemed to get a bit of consistency with our service,we had the same waitress for dessert course and teas/coffees.It was a disappointing evening all round,as it is a local restaurant,I was looking forward to using the voucher and hopefully finding a nice new place to go eat.You can be sure that after our experience there recently, I will never be going back!

Great food, great service and very relaxed atmosphere! Went for a girls dinner, every one of us loved our food! Great value also! All main courses only €10! Only drawback is the menu is not very big, however, there is a very diversified selection and I'm sure everybody would find something they like!

Went for lunch here with work colleagues. Couldn't believe the value.....soup n the biggest toasted sandwich ever all for under €10! Good service, served fast so could relax and enjoy not worrying about making it back to the office on time!

I honestly can't say enough good about Dobbins - the food was amazing, the service was exceptional and the wine was very nice indeed! Went to Dobbins on Saturday night for a celebratory dinner and was delighted to be handed the early bird menu, 3 course meal plus tea/coffee all for €25!!! We couldn't believe it, easily would have paid double that!!! After being uncertain when the taxi man turned down that little alley, we were well and truly won over by the time we left! Dobbins has jumped straight to the top of my 'favourite restaurant list'!!! Already tryin te sell it to the girls for our christmas dinner!!!
