Urbun CafePosted on 03 December 2012
I really love this place. Generally try to go here for lunch about once a month. Food is great and service is good. It is right beside the park for a walk before and after. I have tried a couple of things off the menu now and so far everytime it has been delicious. Definately worth a visit.

Orchid Szechuan RestaurantPosted on 03 December 2012
We happened upon this place on the after the Ireland v Argentina match. We had a few drinks in the Clyde Court and walked to see if there was somewhere to sit down in for abit of food. This was your typical chinese takeaway. Serive was ok. Fairly quick but waiter seemed in a bad mood. The food, i think was a rip off. Very pricey for what you could get in a takeaway for half the price. Also could have gone to a better restaurant for for the same price. Because of its location they may have to charge more. I will not be returning to this.

Chai Yo TeppanyakiPosted on 03 December 2012
Went here with the girls for dinner. It was a late booking as we wanted to go for Teppanyaki rather then the four course. It was quite busy when we got there so we did have to wait a while for our seats. It was worth it though. This place is great for the fun factor and a group of people. The chef was great craic. He was definately an entertainer. 4 out of 6 ordered from the Teppanyaki menu but all of us were involved in the 'cooking of the food. Food was good. All freshly cooked in front of you so you cant really go wrong there. I only ordered a main but i was stuffed after eating just that. It was very filling. I would definately go back to this place.

DarwinsPosted on 03 December 2012
I went here for my birthday with my partner, We had been recommended by a few people, so decided to try it out. I really loved it. From the offset the greeting was great and we were warmly received. Lovely decor, very easy atmosphere to sit in. Our waitress was brilliant. She was personable and she chatted with us as well as talking our order. Food was fantastic. I had the fish cakes to start, with the surf and turf for main. The meat was melt in your mouth and after both we were not overly full so could fit a dessert aswell. Overall, i will definately return and recommend Darwins to anyone looking for great food, great service and lovely atmosphere.

SalamancaPosted on 11 June 2012
I really love this place. Great atmosphere, great food and great prices. Booking is recommended as it is hard to get a table. You are very packed in and it loads but I didnt mind as it added to the experience. We ordered three tapas each which was more then enough. If getting the paella that is a main course. Very nice sangria. Will back again soon

Purple Ocean RestaurantPosted on 11 June 2012
Not overly impressed with this place. I went a few years ago and it was lovely but was not the same standard as it used to be. Food was average, acoustics were quite bad and the restaurant was very loud. There also different servers for each course. Probably wont go back again.

Cafe 31Posted on 11 May 2012
Picked this place late in the day to go to so turned up without a reservation. There was no problem with this at all. It was very quite so we were seated and looked after straight away. Waiter was very attentive and recommended a red wine for me which was very nice and easy to drink. I started with the Chicken Liver pate which came very well presented with a compote and fresh think cut bread. It was a nice size for a starter, very generous. My parter had the garlic cheese bread which was tasty. My main was also recommended, Seabass. I was pleasantly surprised with this not being a big seafood lover. Dessert was also recommended by the waiter, Bakewell tart. Being a person that would normally get the same thing it was nice to have guidance from a friendly waiter. We will definately be going back to the restaurant and would happily bring a group to try it out.

Radhuni Indian RestaurantPosted on 26 April 2012
After reading all the reviews on Menupages I was abit sceptical. The reason we chose this Indian was beacuse there was a dish Pasanda that my boyf had in the UK. Nowhere around the area does it. We were greeted by a lovely lady and seated. It was abit quiet at first as they must have only opened but then some soft Indian music played in the background. We were attended to quickly with poppadums and some lovely sauces and our order was taken. Starter was lovely, veg samosas/sharklish. Main course was amazing. Pasanda and Korma. Not your avaerage jar stuff, creamy and full of flavour. Very filling that there was no room for dessert. Defo be going back again. Nice, simple tasty restaurant.

The Queens Steak RoomPosted on 11 March 2011
The service was excellent from the minute we walked into the restaurant. We did not have a table booked as we decided last minute to get a group together. The waiter had a free table for the five of us. Very friendly waiter and looked after us the whole way through the meal, attention to detail was briliant and our glasses were never half full. Service was exactly right, not to much of a wait on the starter and enough time to relax before the main course and again the dessert.
Food was lovely, I had the pate to start and scallops for my main. Both were exactly what I expected and I enjoyed every bite. A friend got the Steak on a Stone, which I will definaltely get the next time I go. The small bite I had, it tasted delicious and was a great novelty to have at the table
The restaurant decor is tastfully done and very relaxing to sit in. Lighting is perfect not bright and not too dark to see what your eating. Perfect for a couple. After the restaurant the Queens pub is connect and there is a great atmosphere and friendly service .
I would definately recommend The Steak House for any occasion as it caters for everything. The best part was the Steak on the Stone and the service. The value was good and was happy to pay for it.
