This restaurant is upstairs over the pub which means the tables can be quite close to fit a crowd in. The food is consistent and last evening when I was there with friends the "fittlet of plaice" (my main course) was superb and full marks too for presentation.
The starters here are generous (especially the caesar salad which is like a portion for two).
All in all this restaurant is consistent in food, service and value for money with a pleasant atmosphere.

This is my favourite French Restaurant in Dublin. Have been there a few times before and always enjoy whether with a friend or a group.
There recently with a work crowd to celibrate an event. The atmosphere with the flowers in the window beautifully displayed and the general decor is very pleasing.
Food is excellent and presented in typical french style. While the service is efficient I feel the staff could smile more.
The "A La Carte" menu may be a little pricey but they do offer an excellent "Early Brid" menu with many choices and also have special nights (usually Mondays) with food and wine matchings at a good price. I will be back and back as I love France and french cuisine.

I am a bit of a regular here and I am always surprised by the change of menu, each one being as good as the next.
When you arrive you are met with a smile and seated while the offer of breads, etc. are set down. The menu is excellent with fish, meat and poultry dishes all offered in an appealing fashion. Your only problem here is what to have, choices all sound wonderful. One of my favourite started is their potted salmon - presentation and taste memorable........
Another aspect of this restaurant is the atmosphere (quite like being in a Spainish Restaurant) and the cockery is amaxing, different designs on plates - best of all restaurant I have posted reviews of recently.
The service is excellent and the food has never failed to impress which is why anytime I bring new friends they do return themselves at a later date. This is a real sake place to bring people if you are unsure of what they as there is plenty of choice.

This is a real find as you can bring your own wine. I went along on a Saturday evening with friends (10 in party). As this is a small place you must book. The food is plentiful but there was quiet a wait, just as well we had lots of wine between us to keep us going.
It appeared to us that they were not able to cater efficiently for large crowds. Another table similar nos as our party were waitinig a long while too. That evening there also a number of table for two. This cafe/restaurant was full and I image with the prices they charge (unbelievably cheap for all you get! )it is like that each evening of the weekend.
Although the food was slow in coming when it did arrive it was excellent and plentiful and you were even asked would you like more.........hardly able to finish what we had. A lot of the dishes could be shared between two and you would still be very very pleased. That is why I am giving a 5 score for Value. We will be back ....................... If you like asian food this is the place for you.

This restaurant never fails to please on both food and service. As for atmosphere it is very pleasant and once been there the staff seem to remember you or act as they do so this is very welcoming.
Food is always presented with a smile and is I feel one of htethe best value for money venue in South County Dublin.

Called in here just to have some bar-food and was amazed at the choice. Very varied menu with lots of options and they really encourage you to have two starters or three (like tapas style) if you wish although the memu is laid out as normal, starter, main course and desert.
Total bill with a bottle of wine was very reasonable and the atmosphere on an unplanned visit was very inviting.
Would visit again.

Here thwice in the last few months; with a girlfriend and another time with a mixed crowd. Can not remember the earlier date but good interesting food. Had a starter of sardines with black pudding - quite a surprise and it worked.
Food is good and interesting and early bird menus are good value for momey.
The atmosphere here is good and they have a covered area outside for the coffee/smoke for those who do and also live music (background not loud) on Thursday evenings which is very pleasant also Jazz throughout Sunday lunch which is very popular in the area.
This is the kind of place you would just drop in to although bookings are advised as it does seem to have steady business all the time. Will be back.

Arrived on a cold/windy evening and we were met by friendly, informed staff who helped us to a table for pre-dinner drinks in a very pleasant manner.
Menu offered over our drinks (nuts,olives offered without asking) and no pressure to take your table when available as we were early. Ambience in dining room very,very welcoming.
Could not say enough about the quality of the food. All courses excellent. We had a mixture of starters, mains, fish and meat and I would have been happy with any of the dishes. My halibut was superb which I relayed to the chef.
A little more expensive than some other restaurant but well worth it.
Dining here reminds me of any good french restaurant in France.
Very keen to return.

Excellent value for money establishment with a nice friendly atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful even though it was very busy with queus for table on a bank holiday weekend.
Good served well cooked and very good value fish/seafood compared to other restaurant.
First time there and would go again.

Booked for three on a Friday night. From the time we arrived to the time we departed the staff could not have been more helpful and knowledeable. Great food, excellent service and good wine even if a little pricey.
The place had a great buzz and I will certainly be back again soon with other friends. The only downside for me was the lack of the correct coxtail glasses, even though the waiter who served us did advise us before serving and was so knowledgeable about coxtails it did seem amazing this little detail as everything else was first class - PLEASE BUY COXTAIL GLASSES.

A great little restaurant offering an unique service with the tapas menus which I really enjoyed with some fine wine which was reasonably priced.
Have tried to go again but booked out for the tapas night.
Also had a great Sunday brunch a few weeks after my October visit, can not remember the date with service and food excellent as before.
