I have been to Salamance so many times and every time its amazing. We usually get loads of dishes. We love the meatballs, prawns pil pil etc. We really LOVE the tomatoe bread. Its amazing.

Ate here with my partner and we really liked the food. I had the prawns to start which I have to say were the best prawns i've ever tasted. We both got the steak on the stone and it was fab plus there was a great deal on it so great all around! We would definately go back.

Great restaurant. I have been to the one in town a good few times ao was familiar with the menu. The restaurant itself is looking. The food was fab, I had the chicken katsu curry and the ebi katsu. Amazing. Staff were really friendly.

Came here for a work lunch with 2 others. I had the baked potatoe with tuna. Thought it was a bit strange I was asked if I wanted chips with my baked potatoe but that might just be me being pickey. The food here is ok. I do however lover the pub for going to a social drink. Great spot and great friendly staff.

Amazing restaurant. We went here a couple of weeks for the first time on a double date. On arrival we had cocktails and we where then seated beside a huge fish tank which I though was beautiful. I had the prawns to start which were fab and for my main course I had the chef's special which was veal and prawns. I have to say the veal was out of the world 'taste explosion'. Since my visit I have been for lunch with collegues and the lunch deal is brilliant. I have also recommended the restaurant to everyone. Amazing

I had the risotto balls. They were interesting as I have never seen risotto done that way before. My partner had the prawns and I have to say they weren’t great, kind of bland and over done. For my main I had the chicken which was nice and the mash was very nice. A lot of my friends love the restaurant so I am sure I will go back. I just don’t think it’s the place for me.

I organised a surprise birthday here on Friday for 16 people. The staff were amazing so attentive and the food was amazing. Overall an amazing night and we stayed quite late and they were brilliant. :) I will definately go back.

I have been to the ivy house a few time but only for drinks but last night we decided to grab a bit to eat. I got the Brie which I thought was lovely but I felt they but way too much berry mix on the plate which is kind of a waste. Thats not a complaint just an observation. I like that the Brie was in a filo pastry as I havent seen it done that way before. My Partner got the pasta which was very taste. Nice handy spot.

Went her on monday with my partner and another couple. I wasnt too hungry when I arrived so decided just to have a starter and then a starter for my main course. I had the duck pancake which were gorgeous and the sauce that it came with was yum. I then had the saute chicken which is something I wouldnt usually get but it was very tasty. The pinio grigio was delicious and we all had cocktails which were also quite nice maybe a lil more alcohol in the mojito but nice all the same. The party i was with all loved the meal. :)

I went here on Thursday with my partner before going to a comedy gig. We didnt have too much time to eat so just pop in ans explained we only had 30 minutes to eat. The gentlman that served us was so helpful and our food came out so quick. The pasta was amazing and the chablis was devine. I would recommend to others.

I go to this restaurant about 3 thimes a month. I love the food. The wings and blue cheese sauce is amazing. All the pasta dishes are to die for. The staff are all so nice. The deal they have from monday to thursday is great value. Overall my favourite restaurant and I have recommended it to everyone i know.

I went here for lunch. We went in without a reservation adn got a table no problem. I ordered the fish and chips. I loved that it came out on a wooden board. The chips were lovely and the fish was cooke really well. The service was good but found it hard to get a waitresses attention.

I went here with a big group of people and in a sense we created our own atmosphere. I had the salmon and potatoes cakes to start which i thought were lovely. For my main course I had the pork and i not sure what type of potatoes but I didnt like them as they were in between mash and sautee.

I have been here so many times. They have the Best mash potatoes I've ever tasted and the Sea bass is amazing. If i was to have a light lunch there i would get the chicken sandwich on garlic bread it is truely delicious. I recommend this place to everyone. Staff are all so nice.

I have only been to this place once but it was gorgeous. I got the vegetarian wrap with chicken and my partner got the lasange. Service was great and food was excellent. It really is hidden away but seems to alway be full. I will definately go back and have already recommended people to go.

This was my second time here. I am in love with the beetroot and goats cheese salad its amazing. The brie is fab. Service is great. The waiter was very helpful with wine suggestions. I order from the set valu menu which was great value for money.

I got the goats cheese starter which was gorgeous. For my main course I had the prawn pasta which I found bland and the pasta more like noodles. Great value menu. The staff were nice but were chatting to each other very loudly I could barely here the person i was with. We were the only ones in the restaurant and the staff were singing loudly to the music. I just felt this was a little poor.

This was our third visit to the restaurant and all times before had been great but this day was not. I got the vegetarian pasta and it had no flavor. That staff were helpful in the way that could advise us on the best wines to have with our food. We were enjoying a bottle of wine after our meal and they turned the lights up and placed a bill on our table without us asking for it. We would have had no problem in leaving but we weren't told directly that they were closing. We felt the service here was very poor due to this.

I order the prawns for my main but unfortunately they had none left and I was approach very nicely by staff about this which was quite nice and they gave some recommendations. I went here with my partner as we had seen it on tv3 and we are both very interested in food and restaurants. We just walked and didnt have a reservation but they had a table free and were very pleasant. It did take a little long for our order to be taken and the food to arrive. I the rissotto there is well worth the wait though. Out of this world. It was like a tast explosion. I had the fish for my main and it was amazing and the potatoes were so different with herbs and spice. Gorgeous.

I went here midweek as i heard about the meal deal menu they have on. I got the spring rolls and the sweet and sour prawn and a tea. All for €25. The food was gorgeous. So fresh. I went here with two friends. We got food from the specials menu. I also wanted to get the prawns. The were amazing. We even ordered a second portion between us as they were so good. The place was empty when we were there but it was mid week. The decor is very nice and staff were lovely.

Its was our first time in this restaurant adn the experience was quite nice. The food although standard was gorgeous. I had te steak and it was cooked just how i like it. My boyfriend had the liver and it tasted wonderful, my first time having liver. I went to Scholars for the first time on Saturday with my partner and I have to say I felt like a princess. The staff were so attentive. The restaurant was warm and cosy. The selection on the menu was wonderful. Everything was cooked to perfection. All of our needs were catered for and the homemade breads were amazing. Overall my visit to Scholars was fantastic. We were really looked after and the food was superb. I will definitely return and recommend to others.
