Was looking forward to visiting the latest Celebrity chef Restaurant but was left feeling somewhat disappointed. But then again it is what it is.
Starter was the melon which I think had been transported from the 80's.
Tried the Chicken for main but it was more bones than anything else. Chips were nice and big.
Finished with B & B pudding but portion too large and lacking anything.
Good points - ambience - very relaxed. Service was decent as well
Bad points - Food was sadly lacking any imagination so dont be fooled by the MPW endorsement
If you like Steak & Chips, Chicken & Chips or Fish & Chips then its fine. If not, go else where

Friend told me about this Restaurant which she described as her little secret. Not anymore! Was feeling lazy on Sunday and decided to try out their Sunday lunch with Jazz - even though I wasnt too keen on that music. However, the warm welcome I received definetly set the tone for what was to come. I have to say that the food just blew me away and is probably the best I have tasted for some time - dont know who the chef is? This was accompanied by the most attentitive service with nothing too much of a problem. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon and thoroughly recommended (but dont tell everyone!!)
