Dropped in for a bit of lunch with friends that haven't been to Dublin for a while. The is one of my favourite casual dining places in Dublin city centre. We asked for a table for 3 and we got a table for 2 with an extra chair. When other tables left, I asked for a larger table and the waiter told me that the tables were set for 4 people only so basically I had to squash my food onto a table for 2 and hope it didn't land on my lap. This was very disappointing as the waiter wanted to protect the table for 'prospective' diners rather than the actual diners. Food here was amazing and great value for money and my friends and I, had a great catch-up as the place got quieter after lunch rush. While some of the staff would recognize me here as a regular, I was disappointed with the waiter that took care of us. I found it a bit unfair that a table for 3 couldn't get a table to fit 3 people - really might put a sign on door that says 'couples only' as odd numbers are inconvenient. PS steak sandwich with fries is fantastic here and great value!!

Have been here a few times and really wanted to bring a friend for brunch but got here a little bit late so went for lunch instead. Got here just before the lunch rush arrived and got a table for 2 with ease. We went straight for main courses and my friend tried a pizza and I went for pasta. The pizza looked amazing that my friend order but I was disappointed with the pasta. It was a bit plain and I found I was complimenting the pasta with parmasan and pepper to add flavour, not a good sound. Staff were very nice and attentive and I have been here a few times without disappointment so I would consider it again, just a pity about the dish I ordered. PS try the pizza choice or the chicken main course.

Very impromptu decision to drop in here for a table on a Tuesday night after a late finish in work. Arrived with no reservation and the head waiter was able to find us a table. The restaurant was busy for a Tuesday and I had been meaning to try this restaurant for a number of months now. I decided against starter but my dining partner went for the paté and I ended up helping him with the generous portion and bread selection. For main, obvioucly the fillet steak, which as expected was pretty amazing and we complimented the dish with a lovely bottle of prosecco. Total bill was about €120 which was an overdue dinner out so worth it. Only suggestion would be for the staff to be a bit more friendly/attentive. PS If you are a steak lover, looking for a special night out (book in advance) and go here.

Had dined here before and brought a few friends in for dinner, promising that they would not be disappointed.
Restaurant staff were very welcoming and attentive while really taking interest in our personal choice of menu items. Each course was explained in detail by very experienced staff and they really amazed us when presenting dishes in front of us.
Generally, I would not try some of the dishes but since trying Citron out, I have tried a pea risotto (personal favourite now) despite me not eating peas. The choice of dishes is pretty amazing for the cost of the menu with pigeon, lobster, lamb, steak, halibut on the menu!! PS try the soup dessert wow!! This restaurant really has transformed itself to one of my favourites in Dublin.
