We eat regularly here, and as always it was excellent! The food is really tasty, the services comes with a small and nothing is a problem. The SHIKARI CHAMP is wonderful, tasty, spicy and tender. I have the MAHARAJA THALI as you get a taste of all the key dishes with the CHEMEEN MANGACHARU being the first to disappear. Cant understand why this place is not hopping!!!

Hobarts
Ranelagh Village, Ranelagh, Dublin

I love this place in Ranelagh and have been there several times recently.. The food is home cooked, healthy and just as you would expect. The soup is really yum and filling. The Breakfasts are filling and I love the option to have eggs any way. They have brilliant salads too. The best bit is the welcome you get, I listened and they chat to every one and appeared to know their customers very well, I think they are regulars. Well worth a visit and brilliant value for money!

Ice House Hotel
The Quay, Ballina, Mayo

We stayed in the hotel and had a lovely few days. The best bit was sitting in the Hot tub outside watching the birds on the river. Totally chilling! The room was very comfortable and the bed was so snug. The Breakfast was good, but the dinner was ok. Very nicely presented, starter and dessert were good but the main course was disappointing. This is a good location to traveling around the area ... which is super. The main lady on reception was rather frosty when we booked!

L'Ecrivain Restaurant
109a Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

We had a really great meal in L'Ecrivain last night. The Food was excellent, a well balanced Tasting Menu with a variety of flavours with each course. The two stand out ones were the Foie Gras and the Fish course. If I was to comment (as oppose to complain!) I would say the food could be served on warm plates and be a little warmer. The Lamb dish would have been better if warmer. However all in all it was excellent. The service was very good, especially the welcome!

San Lorenzos
South Great Georges Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

Having heard all the Twitter chat about this place I had to try it .... and it was as good as @lovinDublin said! Truly #BrunchOfChampions We really enjoyed it and it was like places we visited in New York .. but not a noisy. I had to have the Lobster Benedict and it was really lovely ... but to me the winner was Huevos Rancheros, they were light and tasty, and tasted like more. We will be back!

The French Paradox Wine Shop & Wine Bar
53 Shelbourne Road, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin

My self and one of my pals who was celebrating his 60th Birthday went to French Paradox for lunch. We were greeted and shown upstairs where we were recommended 2 different wines by the glass. Both were spot on for our taste. We then ordered the French onion soup, Fish Pie and the Foie gras du Chef which was just excellent! The service was attentive and professional. We really enjoyed our visit and will be back.

Bloom Brasserie & Wine Bar
11 Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 4, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here for the 2nd time, the 1st was a really good experiance. However the 2nd was a bad one. Food was ok, just. Starter was over cooked, Every main course had the same Jus poured on it, we could see it happening! There is a glass pannel and it is very hard to see, my pal moved to avoid a water coming along and banged her head badly on it, then knocked a candle all over her self, distroying her dress. the staff did not care, did not offer to help in any way. We were told they were short staffed! left our number but no one called. Not good customer service, we wont be back!
