This place is divine! Its absolutely beautiful. We went as a party of 7 and sat outside under a lovely heater! We ordered a light lunch with half the group opting for the nachos & the other half going for either calamari or just chips.... I ordered the calamari & i only noticed after I ordered that wasabi was in the coating, but it obviously just enhanced the dish as I didnt notice it and loved the dish, it came with a lovely salad and 2 large dips of garkic mayo and sweet chili sauce - it was so nice although I was full I could have eaten it again! The Nachos looked lovely and everyone was more than happy with those too. Also the best pint of Guinness in town!

Prezzo- Liffey Valley
Restaurant 2 Ground Floor, Western End Rotunda, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, Clondalkin, Dublin

Went here yesterday for the first time & wasn't disappointed, I had hummus to start - which was lovely but could have done with either garlic bread with it or more of the flavored hummus & less of the plain one, then I had the goats cheese penne to follow which was nice too. Hubby has the deep fried mozzeralla sticks which he enjoyed to start with and then the margarita royal to follow which he didn't really like as a third of it was covered in rocker and pesto which he didn't expect and dosnt like (probably did say in the menu - but being a man probably didn't read in in full!!). My 3 years old had the tots menu (mini garlic bread - which I ate as he said he didnt like it & only wanted pizza! followed by mini margarita pizza, and ice cream - good value €5.15 for three courses & a drink!). Staff were nice and the restaurant was nice and cool - for such a hot day. Will be back!

Stunning bar/restaurant and gorgeous food! We went as a fairly large group (7) and sat outside under a heater! We were there for a light lunch and drinks and the food did not disappoint! A few opted for the nachos which looked lovely, I had the calamari, which I only noticed after I ordered that it had wasabi in the coating & I hate wasabi, but it obviously just helped the flavor of the dish as I didn't even notice it! The dish was divine, with garlic and chilli dips.... although it was a big enough dish I could have eaten it again as it was so nice! Also the best pint of Guinness I had in town that weekend!!

Johnstown Inn
Johnstown, Naas, Kildare

I had a girly lunch here with my friend yesterday & the food was amazing! Sadly the calamari was off the menu so I had the portabello mushrooms to start, followed by the mediteranian vegetable lasagne and then the rhubarb crumble to finish - the only thing I would have changed about the food was a little more crumble would bhave been nice as it was more fruit than crumble - but it was still delish so no complaints as such! My friend had the olives to start followed by the margarita pizza (with extra jalepinos) and the ice cream to finish, we had a couple of glasses of wine and just chilled out with our food, lovely relaxed atmosphere and great staff - will defo be back!

Ginthai
The Plaza Hotel Complex, Belgard Road, Tallaght, Dublin

Yummy!!! Had a fab meal at Gin Thai last night for a bargain price..... 2 early birds plus a drink each for just under €50!nI had the calamari to start & could have eaten it all night, it's to die for!! Then I had the Pad Thai with prawns for main course, they charge an extra euro for prawns which I thought was a bit tight seeing as there was only 4.5 prawns in the dish! The warm almond brownie for desert was delish too!! Service was really good and quick, we were in & out (without being rushed) in an hour & a half. We will definitely be back!

The Cuckoos Nest
Greenhills Road, Tallaght, Dublin

Had carvery here today, food has gone downhill unfortunately. beef was chewy & very fatty & mash was lumpy. Half the veg was \'sold out\' & it was only 3pm when we arrived.... Might give this a miss next time.

JD's Steakhouse
4 Rathfarnham Road, Dublin 6W, Terenure, Dublin

Love this restaurant! \nWe ordered from the early bird menu (starter & main for €18.95) we had buffalo wings & JD\'s Ribs to start (& shared) both gorgeous!\nFor mains we both had the fillet steak (€5.50 each surcharge on the early bird) & both steaks were cooked exactly how we asked & were fab, chunky chips were amazing too!! Best steak around by far!!\nWe ordered desert (extra to the early bird) & had the junkyard chocolate mouse cake with ice cream & ice cream..... The belgian choc ice cream is to die for!\nService was so quick & friendly.... Cant really recommend this place any higher!

Kelbys Bistro
Amber Springs Hotel, Wexford Rd, Gorey, Gorey, Wexford

Went for a family lunch here, food was really nice, good portions & good sized menu, however, the service was terrible! After we ordered the kids starters came out, then our main courses, followed about 40 minutes later by the kids main courses (after we asked twice for them!). An hour after we had finished eating our main courses and 3 times of asking the kids ice creams came - lunch took over two hours! This was on a Monday, not even a busy time!

Choices Restaurant
Main Street, Dublin 24, Tallaght, Dublin

We brought my parents here on a saturday night. It was much quieter than I had expected but the food was nice & the service was ok. What really annoys me is the staff walking around the resturant talking in chinese - I know they are chinese but sometimes you get the feeling they are talking about you! We ordered from one of the set menu's which is good value. We quite often order take away from here & I think I'll stick to that in the future to be honest as the atmosphere was dead in there.

Frankies Italian Bar and Grill
42 Temple Bar Square, Temple Bar, Dublin

We went to Frankies for my birthday. We both ordered from the set menu for €29 (& both paid the €10 suppliment for the fillet steak) I ordered the chicken wings to start then the fillet steak - which was easily the best steak I had ever had! I was dissapointed with the desert though as we both ordered the creme brulee but were told that they had run out which I thoght was a little odd for before 8pm! So we both had the cheasecake which was lovely, but not creme brulee!! I would defo go back here!

Reeves Restaurant
172 Templeogue Road, Dublin 6w, Templeogue, Dublin

WOW!!! We visited Reeves on a saturday night (defo need to book!!) at 7pm & still were given the early bird menu of which we all ordered from - couldnt beat the value €25 for 3 courses plus tea/coffee. I had homemade chicken liver pate to start (fab!!) followed by the 8oz sirloin steak with their fab garlic & cheese potatoes then the best banoffee pie Ive ever had! We will defo be back!

McSwiggans
3 Eyre Street, Woodquay, Galway

We visited this resturant on reccomedation of the cab driver from our hotel - He was soooooooooooo right!! the resturant was fairly busy but even so our waiter was lovely & very attentive. the food arrived promptly & was extreemly well presented. I had Monkfish in garlic cream sauce to start (WOW!!!) then Baked Cod (Yummmmmm) for main course & then ice cream. My only complaint was that I was so full I got stomach pains - but the food was too nice to leave! I would reccomend this resturant to anyone who likes good food - just make sure you're really hungry!!!
