A small establishment, recently refurbished tastefully and simply. I had booked well in advance for Fathers Day but at 7.30pm it was only my party and one other in the restaurant. Service was a little slow (probably due to a busy takeaway trade also), We were all eating the 'all you can eat' menu, unfortunately one dish was overlooked so one diner was looking at an empty plate for about 20 minutes. Once reminded, the staff were very apologetic, The all you can eat is excellent, with small portions so you can try multiple flavours. 4 adults+ 6 beers + 1 soft drink was less than €100 and the food was delicious. The staff were really pleasant too.

Dined here prior to a gig in Vicar Street as the location was handy and I had a coupon. Very much a pub atmosphere rather than restaurant but the service was good and the food was good value with the voucher discount. Might be a little overpriced if you were to pay the menu rate though.

Chameleon Restaurant
1 Lower Fownes Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Top quality food and what is a comparatively reasonable price. I ordered the Java menu (€35), my friend the Vegetarian menu (€30) and we had a vast selection of flavours and each was delicious! We took our time and the staff were happy to let us stay chatting well into the night. Lovely intimate atmosphere, so nice we didn't want to leave and try to find a quiet bar to finish the night in. Luckily the staff were wonderfully accommodating and let us stay sipping our wine and pretty much cleaned around us until they very apologetically said they had to close up! I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience.

Incredible value. A table of 4 enjoyed the buffet menu (16.50 per person before 8pm) and 'ate all we could eat'. The service was exceptional, the food was hot and tasty. Including drinks, the bill came to about €80 and there was no hint of hard selling off menu items. A lovely, relaxing evening

I enjoyed the tasting menu which was delicious. A nice cosy restaurant with superb service. The wine was a little pricey for somewhere so far from the city

A lunchtime visit and a party of 5. Our waiter was extremely helpful as one of the party is coeliac and took time to explain menu options. Food was excellent and everyones dish arrived at the same time.

Top quality food, really enjoyed the meal. Nice intimate restaurant in a nice location. Service was a little on the slow side, but its in keeping with the relaxed and calm atmosphere. Had to ask for the bill twice though.

Chilli Shaker Indian Restaurant
River Mall, 32-36 Main Street, North Co. Dublin, Swords, Dublin

Excellent early bird offer, the 4 of us enjoyed 2 courses and 6 beers for under €100. Stylish surroundings, attentive staff (though we were a while trying to get our coffee ordered!) Food portions were spot on, really enjoyed the meal

Maples Bar
79-81 Iona Road, North Dublin, Dublin 9, Glasnevin, Dublin

Wonderful restaurant and hotel in a beautiful residential setting. Food is excellent and very, very reasonably priced. Good idea to call ahead to reserve as it is popular with the local residents.

new plaza
Unit 4, 1 st Floor , Main Street , Swords, Dublin

This is a lovely little spot hidden away although it is on the main street. The staff are really lovely, the food has always been excellent. There is a set menu which is remarkably good value and a comprehensive a la carte. Downside? It would not be uncommon to be the only diner in the medium sized restaurant. Great news if you have a large party and want a last minute prime time booking - then this is the place for you. Its a real pity the restaurant doesn't have more sit in diners and I'm not sure why this is - but its a great little spot for a good value meal

Bar 52
52 Middle Abbey Street,, City Centre North, Dublin

This restaurant offers excellent value for money every day of the week. The food is tasty and well presented. It does lose some points for astmosphere - I recommend you bring your own. Not the place for an awkward first date, but for a meal out with family/friends then I would recommend this restaurant

Hidden away on a quiet street, this is a really excellent restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. The food was superb, the house wine was delicious. A great place to start your night.
