This restaurant is too expensive for the selection of the dishes they offer. I've been there only once though and I was quite disappointed with the meal and also with the bill in the end.

Little Jerusalem - Rathmines
3 Wynnefield Road, Dublin 6 , Rathmines, Dublin

We went to Little Jerusalem with a group of friends. I was nicely surprised by the atmosphere of the restaurant. This place is really tiny! The food was amazing. We all shared a selection of starters which were very tasty and then ordered a different main course each. I tried chicken and my husband lamb and we were realy happy with it. The staff were really nice too, attentive even when the restaurant was really busy. I will definitely come back. Loved the whole experience.

O'Neills Bar & Restaurant
Suffolk Street, City Centre South, Dublin

We had lunch there on a Saturday afternoon. Brilliant selection of carvery meals, really big portions and a great atmosphere. I had turkey and my husband had the stew. We really enjoyed eating there. Prices are a bit too high for a carvery lunch but it's in the city centre so that's ok. I will come back again.

Fallon and Byrne
11-17 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I went there with work for lunch on Friday afternoon. I had Goat's cheese as a starter, Duck with red cabbage as a main and lovely Lemon Icecream after. We were very happy with the food quality and the service. You get what you pay for. I will be back with my friends during a rainy weekend.

The Eagle House
18 Glasthule Road, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

We visited this place after at least half an hour looking for a place where they do fish and chips in Dun Laoghaire. They were serving a carvery lunch but we asked about fish & chips and they made that for us. Very nice staff and great value. We will be back again when we're in Dun Laoghaire.

Dunne And Crescenzi (South Frederick Street)
14-16 South Frederick Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

We had lunch there on a busy Saturday afternoon. The place has a lively atmosphere. We both went for panini and white wine. It was really nice. We only didn't like that it took far too long to the waiters to come and take our order and we waited for the meal for a long time as well, then again, took another 10 mins to get the bill. Won't be coming back.

Zen
89 Upper Rathmines Road, Dublin 6, Rathmines, Dublin

Visited Zen last Monday. The menu they offer on Mondays is great. Take away prices all night long, we shared a starter, had two mains and ended up paying €25 for two people. The restaurant is lovely inside and the staff are really nice. We will be back again for sure.

Weirs of Dun Laoghaire
88 Lower George's Street, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

I went there for lunch with my husband while visiting Dun Laoghaire. We both had the carvery Roast Beef and were happy enough with it. We sat down upstairs and had to get our drinks downstairs at the bar. Wasn't very happy with the staff. We don't think we'll be coming back.

ely winebar
22 Ely Place, (Just off St. Stephen’s Green), Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

We went there for a dinner with work. Luckily we got a table upstairs and it was very pleasant. I went for Pear Salad as a starter and Sea Bass as a main course. It was delicious. The staff were really nice too. I would love to go back soon.

Bijou Bistro & Wine
46/47 Highfield Road, Dublin 6, Rathgar, Dublin

My husband took me there for my birthday. We had a table upstairs. We shared scallops for starter and it was delicious. Had a steak for main and my husband the duck. We both loved our meals. Only didn't like that my husband specifically asked for a quiet table and we got a table in the middle surrounded by a very loud crowd, we couldn't even hear each other. The staff was ok, we bought a bottle of wine, which wasn't on our table and had to wait at least ten minutes each time for a top up. The place is lovely and we will come back.

Baan Thai (Leopardstown)
Central Park, Block P, Dublin 18, Leopardstown, Dublin

Went there for lunch with my colleagues. It's a lovely restaurant. You would not expect to see such a lovely place in the office area. We went for the lunch specials and everyone loved what they ordered. It's a perfect place for people working in the area when they want to treat themselves to a nice lunch. I hope we will be back.

Czech Inn
Essex Street - le Bar, Temple Bar, Dublin

Ate here many times. The food is lovely but not as lovely as in Czech Republic. It's great to find a pub with so many sorts of czech beer in Dublin. The staff I think can be very moody and sometimes not very friendly. The best is fried cheese with chips and tartar sauce. Will be back soon because love the beer and the weekend atmosphere.

Salamanca
1 St Andrews Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Brought a group of 15 on my hen night. This place is just amazing! We ordered many different tapas, side orders as potatoes and bread, beers and sangria. Not one person at the table was disappointed with their meal. And the value is great! The place is just bursting with energy. I had calamares and it was yum! The staff were really nice, looking after us at all times. It was my first time visiting Salamanca but I will be back for sure! It's amazing.

La Peniche @ RIASC
Barge Riasc, Mespil Road Jetty, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Brought here my fiance for dinner on his birthday. We took the 6pm cruise. It was great and very quiet, there were only another 2 couples on the boat. The weather was lovely so we really enjoyed being on the deck, drinking wine and talking. The waiter always called us when the food was ready. We had goat's cheese as a starter and duck and beef on guinness as a main. The meat was really soft and delicious. It was lovely and romantic in overall! I used my menupoints for this so we were really happy with the price in the end. Would definitely be back again on some special occasion.

The Summit Inn
Howth Summit, Howth, Dublin

Had a lunch there while visiting Howth with my grand parents. We ordered traditional Cod&Chips and loved it. The portions were huge, wasn't able to finish it all. It's a lovely pub and when the weather is nice it's amazing to sit outside. The staff were nice and we just waited for our meals for about 20 mins. Guess it gets much busier during the weekend. Will be back again.

Time Restaurant @ Carlton Hotel
Carlton Hotel, Blanchardstown, Blanchardstown, Dublin

We spent a night in the hotel last Saturday and had a meal in the restaurant. The food was lovely. I had haddock pies as a starter, salmon for the main and a strawberry cake for desert. It was delicious. My partner had duck rolls as a starter, lamb with mash potato as the main and lovely caramel cake for desert. We both enjoyed ourselves very much. The staff were nice and we were looked after. The restaurant itself is really cosy and tastefully decorated. It's a great value for the money you are paying.

Went there for lunch last Friday. I was really surprised how great value this restaurant is. It looks nice inside, the staff are nice and you can get a really lovely meal for €10 or €15. There are no places like this you can walk to in Sandyford. Will come back indeed.

The Norseman Bar & Restaurant
28 Essex Street, Temple Bar, Dublin

Went there on Saturday with a group of friends for lunch and few drinks. I had a chicken soup with corn and loved it. My friends had chicken wings and irish stew and all loved it. It was quite busy as there was a football match on but we liked it there a lot and stayed there for several hours. It's a very good value for a Temple Bar pub. We will keep coming back for sure.

We have a lunch there on Saturday after exhausting shopping. The place is quite busy but it's cheap and we were really happy with our pizzas. I had Hawai and my partner Pepperoni and we loved it. We will definitely come back for a lunch.

Barista's Cafe and Wine Bar
Unit B2, The Forum, Ballymoss Rd, Sandyford, Dublin

I went there for a lunch with my friend last Friday. The place looks lovely. we were very impressed as you wouldn't expect to be looked after so well on an ordinary lunch break. The staff were really nice. I ordered a Winter soup and my firend had Panini. We liked that a lot. And the tea was served on wooden boards with a cute kettle & mug. Just have to say that it's quite dear to eat there and it woulnd't be affordable on daily basis but we will come back again and it will be soon.

Junction of Mary St. & Jervis St., Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

We had a late lunch there on ordinary Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere was just great there. We both ordered a steak which was really lovely. The staff were nice as well maybe a bit slow thou but I understand it was a very busy hour. Really enjoyed eating there. I'm not sure if we will come back as it is quite pricey there.

The New Ship @ Dooleys Hotel
Dooley's Hotel The Quay Waterford City, Waterford City, Waterford

Went for a trip to Waterford with few friends and really enjoyed myself eating in The New Ship. The service was fast and very nice. I have a steak with mash potato and a salad. Enjoyed the meal a lot. So did my friends. If we come to Waterford again, we will eat there!

The Porterhouse (Bray)
Strand Road, Bray, Wicklow

I went there with few friends on a Bank Holiday weekend. It was sunny so we got a table outside. It took a good while to the staff to realise that we are actually sitting there. We ordered drinks and food straight away. It took a long time to bring the drinks. I ordered fish&chips and the portion was really disappointing. They just gave us just few chips, the fish was nice thou but even the salad was really poor - just a bit of lettuce. I think this was really poor for a price of €13.50 for a dish. People were also disappointed with their pizzas as the waitress didn't remember the toppings and basically gave the pizza to another friend, who started to eat and then realized that he ordered a different pizza, which the other friend was half way through. Very sad experience for all of us. We will not come back.

Seagrass of Portobello Bridge
30 South Richmond Street, Dublin 8, Portobello, Dublin

We went there for a Valentine's dinner and totally loved it again. I had chicken pate as a starter and vegetable penne as a main course. My partner had serrano ham as a starter and lamb liver as a main. We both liked that a lot. The staff were nice as usual and we had a pleasant time. I'd recommend this restaurant to everyone who likes delicate food for a great value.

Ginger
146a Lower Rathmines Road, Rathmines, Dublin

We ate there last night with my partner. The place won't impress you with it's look but the food was just amazing. Had chicken korma and my partner chicken tikka masala. We both liked it a lot. The service was very good too. The place is simple but if we won't go to eat in we will definitely go for take away because we haven't had so good indian in ages!

Mexico to Rome
23 East Essex Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Went there with my fiancee for a dinner. Had sea food and tortellini. The meals were really nice and not bad value. The restaurant was really busy and it was quite early. I'm not sure if we will come back as we prefer quieter places for a nice conversation - not feeling the pressure just eat and leave.

Wongs of Ranelagh
7 Sandyford Road, Ranelagh, Ranelagh, Dublin

We don't come here very often because it's a pricey restaurant but when there is a special occasion we come to Wongs. It's something really great to be looked after and also the food quality is just perfect. You just realise how great Chinese cuisine is. The staff are very nice and you just pay a lot for a very good service - but you get that service.

Manifesto
208 Lower Rathmines Road, Dublin 6, Rathmines, Dublin

We've been there about a month ago and it was a nice and pleasant evening. I ordered a shark and my fiance a pasta and the food was really nice but I have to say the portion was quite small for the price you are paying. The staff is very friendly and caring. That time when we went the restaurant was actually full. Would recommend to anyone, it's very cosy, good value and lovely food.

Went there last Friday as my friend organised there a birthday party. We were a small group of people and were very satisfied with food & wine, atmosphere and staff as well. We went there there on my birthday and I have to say I enjoyed myself. The restaurant is beautiful, we were upstairs and the atmosphere was great but have to say that the food disappointed me a little bit. I couldn't finish the noodles as they were not nice at all. I think the restaurant is too expensive though.

Punjabi By Nature Indian Restaurants & Takeaway
15 Ranelagh Village, South Dublin, Ranelagh, Dublin

After a very long time since the last visit we decided to give it a go and went to Punjab. The place has changed a bit, they also have new tableware which is not as nice as the old one. It is rather modern than traditional. However, we really enjoyed ourselves. I had chicken masala and my partner chicken korma. The food quality was perfect as per usual, just the price of one main! It's really dear + you have to pay extra for a side dish. We brought our own bottle of wine and paid 7.95 corkage which was ok. The staff were nice and paid attention to us at all times.
