Murphys Pub (Tipperary)
Main St. lemore, Templemore, Tipperary

I came here with a friend on a Saturday evening for dinner. We were there early and so wasn't many there. The service was pretty good, the food came quick enough. I got the lasagne and it was lovely, really home made. I wasn't impressed to see that some of the mayonnaise sachets on the table were out of date.. stock rotation!! Also had to go to the bar to pay despite asking for the receipt. Despite all that the food was delicious and good value for money!

The Old Schoolhouse (Dublin)
Coolbanagher Church Road, North Co. Dublin, Swords, Dublin

Was here on a Sunday evening for dinner. The place was busy, always a good sign! We all opted for the 2 courses for 19.50. I got the pan fried brie for starter and roast chicken for main. Both were delicious and great value! Highly recommended!

De Brúns
Ashleigh Centre, Main Street, Castleknock, Dublin

Came here for brunch and was very disappointed. The food was slow to arrive and when it did it was half cold. I ordered eggs benedict and it was horribly vinegary. Unfortunately for me I was starving so ate it. My friends were not impressed with their food either. The brunch menu sounds great but what you get is poor quality food. Not even good hangover food. The staff were really lifeless and unfriendly. AVOID!

The Counter Suffolk Street

The food here is great I love how you chose each part of your burger individually. The bbq sauce is just delicious! Also got the giant cookie and ice cream for desert it was amazing! Highly recommended!

Masterson's Steakhouse & Wine Bar
17 Main Street, Swords, Dublin

Came here for lunch with my sister on a Friday recently as it had been recommended to me. It doesn't really look much from the outside but has a lovely interior.. its like the tardis.. bigger on the inside!!! The food was great! I got lasagne and it was the tastiest lasagne I've had in a long time! The food was a bit slow coming as it wasn't busy but still a place I'd go to again.

Thunder Road Cafe
Fleet Street, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

Visited the thunder road cafe on a Saturday evening so it was busy and we had to wait a while for seats but we ordered cocktails while we were waiting. the service was really good and the food was pretty quick coming considering it was so busy. i had the home on the range burger and it was honestly the best burger I've ever had! it was so tasty and no need to cover it in ketchup and mayo which i normally do! the cocktails were nice, not great and came in regular glasses which was a tad disappointing. the tables are quiet close together but you get over that. overall great restaurant for a casual meal and drinks

Cornstore
40 Cornmarket Street, Cork City, Cork

I went to the cornstore with a friend and her family for an evening meal. had the cornstore chicken wings for starter. they were a bit spicy and normally i hate spicy food but they were delicious! will definitely be getting them again! got the oven roast salmon for main and the flourless chocolate gateau for dessert. what an amazing dessert! very rich and chocolatey! definitely one for the chocolate lovers! excellent food, great atmosphere.and service. one of my favourite places to eat.

Puccinos @ Paul Street
Paul Street, Cork, Cork City, Cork

nice atmosphere and staff. got the full irish breakfast. very filling and tasty! i like the quirky things they have written on the plates, sugar sachets, etc. the coffee was brought out way before the meal which was annoying because it was cold by the time the food arrived.

Captain America's Cookhouse and Bar (Cork)
4/5 South Main Street, Cork, Cork City, Cork

Brilliant place to eat! fun, relaxed environment and the service is great. i got the barbeque burger and got the bbq sauce on the side so i could pour it over my burger and dip chips in it. got the chocolate brownie for dessert. it came with chocolate fudge sauce and cream and ice cream. amazing! had an americano as well which complimented the dessert nicely. i had a buy one get one free voucher so the meal was great value you really come out of there feeling stuffed!

Luigi Malones (Cork)
1-2 Emmet Place, Cork City, Cork

I went with my sister for an evening meal. booked through the menu pages website using my menu points. we got nachos grande for two for starter which was lovely. we skipped the main meal and had dessert; toblerone cheescake and triple chocolate choc fudge sundae. they were both delicious but a bit pricey. the restaurant is very nice and the service was great. will definitely eat here again.

Flemings Restaurant @ Silver Grange House
Silver Grange House, Tivoli, Cork City, Cork

Was down visiting my sister in college the other week and we were looking for a nice place to go to treat ourselves. came across the autumn menu special for €35 on Menupages (always my go to for restaurants). anyway the menu sounded good so we decided on a Saturday night. we were both very impressed i must say - everything about the night was just superb - the service, the food, the decor of the place - wow! for starter i went for the goats cheese and my sister the mussels (I'm not a fan of mussels at all) - plates were cleared! for main i went for the salmon and sea bass and my sister the guinea fowl - cooked to perfection! at this stage we were pretty full but as dessert was included we had to eat it really didn't we?! we both went for the creme brulee - perfect finish! very enjoyable evening! we tend to go to different places every time we have a dinner date but this is definitely a fave now and we both can't wait to go again!

The Winter Garden Restaurant @ Red Cow Hotel
Red Cow Moran Hotel, Naas Road, Dublin 22, Clondalkin, Dublin

availed of the early bird on offer here about 2 weeks ago - really good value considering the quality of food i think. both of us went for the king prawns for starter - delish - i do love my prawns! for mains i went for the salmon and my friend went for the chicken - again no complaints there - we were both pretty hungry so plates were cleared! we were only going to have teh one drink but it was a really relaxing atmosphere on the day so we decided to stay for a few - very bold on a school night really :) all in all a very enjoyable evening!

Tir na nOg Caife
Mount Prospect Avenue, The Red Stables, Clontarf, Dublin

i think the thing i like best about this place is the grounds it's set in - just gorgeous - i suppose my friend and i were lucky that the sun was shining that day too! we didn't get anything too exciting - just sandwiches - i got tuna sweetcorn and tomato and she got the chicken breast - i appreciate a good sandwich and they were GOOD sandwiches - very satisfying and would certainly get again the next time i'm out in swords!

Leo Burdock's
Unit 20 Swan Centre, Rathmines Road Lower, South Dublin, Rathmines, Dublin

was feeling too lazy to cook anything last night so ordered a takeaway from here. i got chips - lovely and chunky - my fave kind so they were yum! i also got the quarter pounder with cheese - also very tasty. including delivery charge it came to €8 which was very cheap! i'll certainly get again!

Saagar Indian Restaurant (Mullingar)
2 Dublin Bridge, Mullingar, Westmeath

have eaten in saagar on harcourt quite a few times so when passing through mullingar last weekend i had no hesitation in stopping here for a bit to eat. just as good as the one in the city if not nicer - the food was so tasty and the staff very friendly. one of the waiters told me there is a 3rd saagar - in athlone i think and if it's as nice as the other 2 i'll be sure to pay a visit when i'm in the area.

The French Paradox Wine Shop & Wine Bar
53 Shelbourne Road, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin

think this has to be of of my fave wine bars in dublin! gorgeous smells hit you as soon as you walk in. perfect place for a few drinks and nibbles with the girls which is exactly what i did 2 weeks ago. the atmosphere is so chilled out and the staff so friendly. i enjoy every visit and look forward to the next!

Pacinos

an old fave of mine - always guaranteed a warm welcome here - the staff are so friendly and nice - like what the reviewer below said. have probably tasted nearly everything on the menu at this stage but gotta love the pizza - can't go wrong with pizza - always yum! great location too being city centre - very handy for when taking a break from walking around the shops with my girlfriends.
