I dined at Peploes with my husband last Thursday for our Wedding Anniversary. We had a reservation for 8.30pm, and arrived on time, but were not seated until 9pm. We were waiting a good 30 mins for our starters, people beside us were seated after us and their order taken and their food arrived at least 10 mins before ours. We were again waiting for our main course a good while. They do not leave your wine bottle at your table, and we had to ask a couple of times for our glasses to be filled up and for more water. We had to ask a couple of times for our bill. Although the food was good, the service was disappointing. We complained on the way out as we were asked was everything ok but all they said was sorry. It was our 1st time at Peploes and wouldn't be in a rush back

We ate in Toscana on Saturday afternoon for a family dinner. Very rude staff. Food was just about edible. We will definitely won't be returning

West Wicklow House
Main st, Blessington, Wicklow

while out for a drive last Sat with our 3 yr old and 10 month old we called in around 2.30pm for something to eat, Our order was taken quick enough and food received promptly, Myself and my husband had main course each, he had fish and chips, which was small enough considering the price and i had the burger, food wasnt cheap and we were disgusted to be charged €2.50 for a baby bowl which consisted literally of one scoop of mash with soup over it, as most places do not charge for this if full meals are being ordered. We also ordered a kids meal and waited, 15 mins despite our 3 yr old screaming for his ice cream, for it to arrive. Our kids were getting fed up so we asked for the bill, 3 times, and waited another 15 mins for this. As this was passed the lunch time rush we were surprised that they were so slow and would not be keen to return

The Coach House Pub & Restaurant
Roundwood, Roundwood, Wicklow

We visited the Coach House on Friday 6th Aug around 2 pm with our 14 month old baby. We were horrified to be charged €3.50 for a baby bowl which consisted of a couple of spoonfuls of mash, a couple of carrots and about 5 peas. We have been to this place before without our son and before the new management and were so looking forward to going back but would not return. We both had main courses, a drink each and desert and tea so its not as if we werent spending money there. We have been to many places with our baby and have never been charged that much for a small amount of food we got for the baby and most places do not charge at all if parents are paying for a full meal.
