Bay Restaurant
369 Clontarf Road, Dublin 3, Clontarf, Dublin

We sat and a staff took a part of or drinks order before running off so we had to order more drinks from another staff as there was a few of us. The order was a bit disjointed.. Even though I mentioned I was vegetarian so to put the salmon that came with my meal, on a separate plate for someone else, twice, it seemed to go over their heads and my meal came with salmon. When I asked them to change it they were about just to take the salmon off and give me back the same plate... The food was grand when it came correctly in the end. When we paid with big notes and sat 10 minutes after with the staff passing us and cleaning the table, we did not receive our change. They presumed it was a tip. I think that should be up to us.

Ruposhi Indian Restaurant
1 Whitworth Road, North Dublin, Drumcondra, Dublin

I have always passed this restaurtant and knew they had an Early Bird E15 3 course special. We were seated and ordered a few starters, some meat some vegitarian. I ordered vegi as I am a vegetarian. They mistakenly gave my meat samosas. As I cut into it, I thought it was a dark bean or something. They could not have been more apologetic. We were given a dish on the house. Although I was a bit taken back by it, I would be back as the food was delicious and the service was great.

Acapulco Restaurant
7 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

I called earlier to book a table. Just as well because it was fairly busy and people were told to book and pop back. We were seated and ordered drinks. We all had tacos. I ordered the vegi options, because I am a vegi. They all came out on one big plate. I would have prefered if mine were on a seperate plate. They were tasty and at 2 for E5 sure you cant go wrong. Chips were a bit greasy those. Great service. All in all, a lovely night.

Brother Hubbard

I popped into this gem in the city during a busy evening rush. Most of the tables were being occupied. I ordered a coffee and sat down. I was served by a bubbly staff member. I chose the soup of the day and a sandwitch. Everything was really tasty. I will definatley be back.

Diwali Indian Restaurant
Unit 1, Castle House, South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

From the outside this restaurant is nothing to shout about. Once inside though it has a great atmosphere. It was a busy Sunday evening we popped. We ordered from the weekely feast menu. Both been vegetarian we ordered two different dishes to share. Although it was very tasty and filling, 2 of the dishes on the vege feast menu were very simular. It worked out a little more expensive then we had expected with drinks too. Tasty though and the staff were friendly.

Salamanca Fusion
38 - 40 Parliament Street, City Centre South, Dublin

We booked this restaurant through this website. It was a busy Sunday night and Valintines weekend. The girl who seated us, I think she was a manager, was very friendly. The waitress was efficient and we ordered from the early bird menu and the main menu. We had salad and potatoes bravos for starters. The main dish was delicious. I was looking forward to the dessert but I was a little let down with it. Overall it was a very plesant experience.

The French Paradox Wine Shop & Wine Bar
53 Shelbourne Road, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin

We visited this little cafe/ wine shop on a busy Sunday. I wanted to have the soup of the day that was advertised outside, but when we were seated we were told there was only French onion soup. I had never tried it so I gave it a go. It didn't float my boat. We were given a basket of bread and water on arrival. We also ordered an aubergein dip starter which was quiet nice. Overall I didnt find the experience that great and proberly wouldnt return. I was not satisfied.I found it a little snobby. Sorry guys

Andersons Foodhall & Café
3 The Rise, Glasnevin, Glasnevin, Dublin

I have been here a few times as is it my local cafe. We poppped in to a busy lunch rush. We were greeted by a plesant waitress who took are order. We were waiting a little long on our hot drinks, but there was only one girl on coffees for the whole cafe. We did have return the hot choclate as they put marshmellows in it without offering them, but changed it. The paninis were tasty and large. It was overall a lovely experience, once again.

Bombay Bistro is the only Indian restaurant in Clane. As I was pasting through I tried the food here and was not disappointed. I had an extra hot Kofta, a dumpling dish. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. When I am back in Clane I will be returning to this place.

Chez Max (Palace Street)
1 Palace Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Myself and a friend popped into this little place on a Sunday evening. It had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were friendly. As its off the main street, it didnt have the hussel and bussel that many other places do. We sat over a coffee and goats cheese tart and didnt feel rushed. Dont know why I hadnt been there before, but I will be returning.

Novo
Harry Street, St Stephens Green, Dublin

I visited the restaurant with a friend as I had a menu pages voucher. Although it was part of the Hotel, it is not at all snobby. I found the two waiters friendly, efficient and the food was delicious. Our waiter listed off the specials and he went out of his way to get something not on the menu. The wine was light and went well with the meal. The music and atmosphere were chilled and I enjoyed the whole experience. Altough it was quite enough, there was a good atmosphere. I would definately return again and recommend to a friend. Good work guys.

Woodstock Cafe
156 Phibsboro Road, Phibsboro, Dublin

I popped in for a bite to eat on a busy lunch rush. The service was friendly and fast. The food was good value. I had a coffee. There was no soy but do have rice milk instead. The food was yum too. The portions looked large for the roasts and the sandwiche and soup I had were delicious. Well done guys.

Indian Brasserie
Butterfield Avenue, Rathfarnham Village, Rathfarnham, Dublin

It was the first time I've eaten here. I had the special for E14.50, a starter or desert and main course. It wasnt busy so we got the undivided attention of the friendly waitress. After we ordered, a complimentary plate of poppidoms and dips were placed on our table to nibble on before our food came. The food was tasty and prepared fast. Afterwards I was pleasently full.

The Cake Cafe
62 Pleasants Place, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I came upon this place just today. There was a great atmosphere, the place was packed. We sat outside in the court yard. Although it lashed rain, it didnt not ruin our food and drinks. The staff were friendly and fast. I would definatly return.

Ciao Bella Roma
24/25 Parliament Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

There was a big group of us and we had booked ahead. It was busy enough. We were seated and had our drink orders in pretty fast. I had a pizza. It was huge. The wine was easy drinking. Everyone seemed happy with their food. The staff were fast and friendly.

Yamamori Sushi, Tengu
38-39 Lower Ormond Quay, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

It was my first time eating here and I was plesently surprized. The vegitarian menu was varied. I had the lunch time special for 10 Euros, of veggi spring rolls, rice, a salad, soup and a drink. I was stuffed afterwards but not bloated. Everything looked and tasted fresh. The service was quick and friendly, even offering us a complementary coffee after our meal. I will be back!! ; )

My friend and I had a coffee each and shared a bread platter for 2 with a selection of dips.. and green salad. It didnt look that big to begin with, but we found out we couldnt finish it. It was tasty though a little expensive. The staff were friendly and quick to serve us. Oh and they do a really nice soy coffee here, some places dont.

The Summit Inn
Howth Summit, Howth, Dublin

After a long, hot hike around the cliffs of Howth we had a well deserved meal. The food was well presented and good value. The pub was very busy, particularly the outside area. We were not waiting too long and served with a smile.

Wallace's Enoteca Delle Langhe

Cafe Irie
11 Fownes street, le Bar, City Centre South, Dublin

This is a little place I used to love many moons ago. I used to be a regular customer before I lived away. I was looking forward to a coffee and a quick bite to eat. I was terribly disappointed. My latte was below average and my friends soy latte was undrinkable. We ordered nachoes, which were a few dry corn chips in a bowl with a little salas dip on the side. It was expensive for what we got. We were left empty. I will not be returning : ( : (

Zaytoon (Parliament Street)
14/15 Parliament Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Although you may not think a kebab place is traditional good for veggie food, there are a few places that are. This is not one of them. They did not have a good veggie selection and the kebab consisted of some grilled mushrooms and peppers. There was no falafel or any substancial meat substatute. It wasn't really value for money either... : (

Govindas Restaurant (Abbey Street)
83 Middle Abbey Street, City Centre North, Dublin

I eat here frequently and again today was overwhelmed by the man-size portions. Great food and great value for money, served with a smile.. : ) I had a large plate full of goodess and the soup which my good friend let me sample, was particularly tasty today.
