Maximillians continues to give good service.good food and great value. Their lunch menu is very good value.and on the day.they tailored it to meet our needs .which is always a plus nowadays. Its confusing why this restaurant is not frequented more at lunch time.it does take away from the atmosphere. Waiting staff were very efficient.

Platform 61
27 South William Street, South William Street, Dublin

We went here on a Groupon voucher deal. The atmosphere when we walked in was dark and the tables looked cramped.but we discovered there was another area behind. The service is amazing.really attentive and informative.but the winner here is the food hands down. Beautifully executed and presented. The steak in particular was mouth watering. I\'ll definitely be back.and they do a very well priced early bird. I would\'ve liked more light to create a better atmosphere.but they are in the basement and have no control over that. Overall a really enjoyable experience.

Alfies
10 South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

First time visiting Alfies .first impressions were decor and atmosphere is lovely.we ordered the apres work as they call it.early bird in other words. We ordered our starter and main course and to our astonishment it all came on the one plate.which was off putting as the main was going cold as we eat our starter .not a good idea. Other than that.the staff were amazing.very hands on.

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

The lunch available here is one of the best for the money. €10 and you get a really good main. It was very quiet for lunch.but gets much busier for the early bird. The portions are very good. The big plus about brasserie is the staff.then cannot do enough for you. I was delighted to see Rose there.she is always so pleasant and helpful.the other 2 staff members there were so attentive and helpful. Go for the food and you\'ll stay for the service.

An Port Mór Restaurant
1 Brewery Place, Westport, Westport, Mayo

The atmosphere here is very good.Nice and relaxed. Service was prompt and efficient. The food was well cooked and we\'ll presented. The only gripe I would have is there was very little on vegetable content.apart from potatoes. You got 1 carrot.and 1 long stemmed broccoli.although beautiful.could have been more plentiful. Desert was really nice. I would recommend this restaurant. Will definitely be back.

Eden Bar and Grill
7 South William Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

The food here was very good. Steak was beautifully cooked.and chips were amazing. The ambience is lovely here with well placed tables. The big attraction is the staff. Everyone was so pleasant.and nothing was too much trouble for them.would definitely recommend it

Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill
51 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

We went here for lunch on a Taste voucher. It was a very limited menu with this offer. We had to have the steak at €5 extra.as there was not a hot chicken dish available. The chips accompanying the steak tasted reheated.and looked shrivelled on the plate. Its as though if you go into Marco pierre with a voucher.even though you paid good money for it.they treat you differently. To top it all.they charged €9 for a glass of pinot gricio.I\'ll say that again €9. Way over priced. I\'ll have to consider whether to return here. I\'m considering going to one of the many other restaurants on Dawson street. Perhaps there will be better value for money.

1900 Restaurant & Bar
59 Harcourt Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

We went to 1900 on a Taste voucher. The ambience in this restaurant was like a pub.not what we expected. The menu for our voucher was very limited. The waitress Michaela was very accommodating and agreed to 1 or 2 changes to the restricted menu. The main was just OK. No great shakes. The desert of blueberry cheesecake made up for it.and the coffee was good.but I don\'t think I\'ll be back again in a hurry.voucher or no voucher.

Bistro 53
Main St, Maynooth, Maynooth, Kildare

Just had lunch in Bistro 53 and it was really good. The 2 course lunch €11.99. The quality of the food is amazing. Everything was freshly cooked. The deserts available are amazing and very varied. The service is excellent. The only qualm I would have is that the tables are a little close together.other than that I would highly recommend.

TGI Friday (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

We went to this restaurant at lunch time but there was hardly anyone there. That said.the food was very good and freshly cooked. One item which was hard to understand was that we were charged for garlic mayo which we requested. When I took this up with the manager.he said they don\'t order it in.so they have to charge. I\'ve never been charged for garlic mayo.ever! This really is mealy mouthed of tgi. They should abolish that charge. Other problem was the lazy desert menu.everything had caramel sauce. No cheesecake.or any variation on ice cream. The main course was good.but maybe its empty due to the extra charges.and lack of imagination on the menu.

Langton House Hotel Kilkenny
69 John Street, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny

We had a beautiful meal in the bar in langtons hotel. We\'ve eaten here before and I was struck by the standard of the food.it just goes beyond the standard you expect for bar food.I asked for a change of veg option from the menu.and it was no trouble to them. It is high class restaurant food at affordable prices. The staff are pleasant and efficient. Would highly recommend.

The Marble City Tearooms @ Langtons House Hotel
68 High Street, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny

Langton house is very good on food. The bar has the same food as the restaurant. The standard and quality of the food is excellent. The service is excellent also and value for money ss excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending Langtons for a meal.

The 4 Vales Bar @ Woodenbridge Hotel
Vale of Avoca, Arklow, Wicklow

We had a beautiful meal in the bar of this hotel. It was piping hot .and very good quality. I did think turkey n ham for €13.95 was a little pricey. I\'ve had this same meal in Dublin pubs for €10.95. The service here was amazing.always someone with a smile on their face. The decor could be updated I do think.very old feeling.but the food makes up for it.

Milano (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

Milanos is always good for food. However the service the day we were there was very bad. A large party came in and they were looked after.while the 2 at a table customers were ignored. I do think they should have a contingency plan for the unforseen like a big table. While the standard of the food was good.and the manager did apologise for tho inconvenience when he was informed, I think people will be tempted to leave if this happens. The price of the poet drinks at €3.50 for a coke is way too dear. I do hope they will look at their customer service.

profile_review

FIRE Restaurant and Lounge
Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

I do love fire. The set early bird is very good.but last sitting at 6pm which I think is a mistake as they will lose a lot of custom to other restaurants where early bird finishes at 6.30. The house wine list is expensive and is sauvignon blanc.so if you don\'t that you will be forced to pay even more again. The staff are very attentive and pleasant.

profile_review

Dante (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

I usually visit Dante during the week.so this was first weekend visit and the atmosphere was so much better than during the week when it is practically empty. More staff on and attention to detail was excellent. We sat at the back near the kitchen and its a much better atmosphere there.more Italian style and no loud lights overhead. The standard of the food as ever was very good. This restaurant should be more popular due to standard of food alone .

profile_review

FIRE Restaurant and Lounge
Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

We had a family birthday celebration here and it was really lovely. The steak option on the early bird is very good value and always perfectly cooked. I do find the wine list a little expensive.with €30 being the cheapest bottle of pinot gricio. The deserts are very good. Would highly recommend for a special occasion.

profile_review

Bradys Castleknock Inn
Old Navan Road, Castleknock, Dublin

Bradys always delivers on food. Good food done simply but very high standards. The value is excellent. They do a carafe of wine for around €11 which is excellent value.as usually it is the drink with the meal that breaks the bank. Recommend highly for lunch or dinner.

profile_review

Captain America's Blanchardstown
Unit 40 Blanchardstown, Retail Park 2 Extension Dublin, West Dublin, Blanchardstown, Dublin

I was very disappointed in the food here. The service was excellent but the atmosphere and the food disappointed. The atmosphere was like a work canteen.non existent. The food was glorified fast food.but at treble the price.also there was too much of it.as though they were trying to make up for lack of quality. Won\'t be returning.

profile_review

Maximilians Bistro
Superquinn Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

We had the lunch set menu here and as ever the quality was superb for the money . Service was slow as only one person serving but none the less it was superior quality and value. What I like most about here is that they\'re flexible.they can suit the menu to the customer\'s needs which is rare nowadays. Highly recommend.

profile_review

FIRE Restaurant and Lounge
Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

As ever Fire delivered. It wasn\' t the usual early bird that we normally had but a Christmas menu which was priced at about double the price but included a starter n coffee. Standard of food was very good but the staff are what makes this place amazing. Catherine.the main lady in charge is just so good at her job and an inspiration to the rest of the staff.so amenable and nothing is too much trouble. Go for the food and you\'ll stay for the hospitality. Highly recommend.

profile_review

Milano (Dawson Street)
38 Dawson Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

The food in milanos is good quality but overpriced in on opinion . It is just a pizza restaurant . How can they justify charging €3.35 for a coke .unreal. The service in this branch was very poor .menus were delivered but nothing after that .we had to summon the waiting staff on several occasions during our visit .there doesn\'t seem to be a service plan at all .atmosphere is the highest point of this restaurant .

profile_review

Bradys Castleknock Inn
Old Navan Road, Castleknock, Dublin

Bradys is an excellent venue for lunch or evening meal, the staff are very pleasant and helpful but the winner is the food. It is well presented, fresh, and excellent value. Choice is very good, something for everyone, the turkey and ham was excellent and it came with garden fresh vegetables. Desert was delicious and very reasonably priced, overall I would highly recommend..

Avenue by Nick Munier
1 Crow Street, City Centre South, Dublin

We were in avenue on a Pre theatre n I must sky apart from the starters it was disappointing, definitely got the impression this Restaurant was trying to be something it wasn\'t. A little pretentious even, Pre theatre while it was good value was poor,we had the steak marinated in merlot and it was very tough, followed by desert which was a play on Eton mess but ended up being 3 thin slices of meringue. This experience on food alone would not make me return. Service was friendly and efficient, food let them down.

profile_review

Dante (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

There is absolutely no atmosphere in this restaurant. The food is quite good standard but there is never anyone there. The waitress was surly and did not look happy in her job. It would an nice if something could be done to give Dantes a makeover, it could be a great place to eat.

profile_review

FIRE Restaurant and Lounge
Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

The atmosphere in fire restaurant is really nice. The staff are so friendly and helpful. While my steak was nice,it was not as lean as previous steaks I\'ve had here. Other than that the food was very good quality. Deserts are particularly good. I\'d recommend fire for a birthday celebration as they are very good with arranging birthday wishes on deserts.

The Helm Bar & Restaurant
The Harbour, Westport, Mayo

The Helm has got to be the best restaurant in Westport. The value, service and quality of food is amazing. Always a welcome with Shayne and the crew. Would highly recommend. Try the chicken curry and the cheesecake, amazing!

profile_review

The Great Wood
Westend Shopping Park, Westend Commercial Village, Blanchardstown, Dublin

We had breakfast here and the value, service and quality of the food was just amazing. Full Irish breakfast with hot drink and free refills for €4.95. Truly great value, the staff are so accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere is a little impersonal due to the size of the place but will definitely return.

profile_review

The Great Wood
Westend Shopping Park, Westend Commercial Village, Blanchardstown, Dublin

The food here is really good quality and fantastic value. For €2 extra you get a drink with your meal which is really good value. You do have to order your food at the bar. No waiter service only when the food is delivered but it didn\'t matter because food was served very quickly after ordering and was of a very high standard. This Restaurant is a great addition to Dublin 15. Hopefully it gets the success it deserves.

profile_review

Oak Alley Restaurant and Cocktail Bar
Main Street, Maynooth, Kildare, Maynooth, Kildare

I had never been here before but it came highly recommended. The service was very pleasant. The food although well cooked and well presented was a\nLittle bland. No salt or pepper on the table. It also took quite a while between ordering the food and the food arriving. Ambience was nice but something needs to happen with the menu to make it more appealing.

profile_review

Dante (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

The Restaurant was empty when we first arrived but started to get busier after a while. The service is excellent and our waitress who is often there is so pleasant. The food was a bit of a let down. Steak was lovely and perfectly cooked but chicken tenders were of the frozen variety and were very bland. Deserts were both very good. It does feel sometimes like a hit or a miss for food here. Ambience in the restaurant needs improving, big spotlights in the ceiling do not help the atmosphere. It could be such a great venue.

profile_review

FIRE Restaurant and Lounge
Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

We had a fantastic dining experience in fire. The food was beautiful, steaks cooked to perfection. Desert was amazing and presentation was excellent. The ambience in this restaurant is lovely. Its big but still manages to achieve that intimate feeling at the table. The service is first class,so attentive. Ticked all the boxes. I\'ll be back!

profile_review

Maximilians Bistro
Superquinn Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

The value on fixed lunch menu in maximillians is fantastic value. €12.99 for two courses which are such good quality and value. The service is very good and attentive. Would highly recommend food here.

profile_review

Bradys Castleknock Inn
Old Navan Road, Castleknock, Dublin

We had a beautiful meal, service was very good and value was good but there was no atmosphere and no one there. Its hard to understand why they don\'t get more people for lunch. I would recommend Brady\'s for food and value. Maybe they should consider a better outside eating area, the one they have is in the car park.

profile_review

FIRE Restaurant and Lounge
Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

The food was excellent and the service was second to none, only problem we had was the price of a bottle of wine, cheapest bottle comes in at €29.95 or thereabouts, this greatly impacts on the bill,so clearly Fire needs to look at this issue. On the same street a bottle of wine would comep in at €24 approximately. Fire\'s loyalty card is very good and offers some great incentives to go back, and I will go back!

profile_review

Bradys Castleknock Inn
Old Navan Road, Castleknock, Dublin

The food at Bradys is always reliable, never cold and very good quality. The price is very competitive and good value. On this visit the service was very slow. We waited quite a while for our main course plates to be removed, and when coffee was ordered it took a long time to arrive. Would still recommend for good food and good value.

profile_review

Dante (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

While the food is good here the atmosphere is nil. Never that many people here. Service was not great, once food was delivered we were never approached again and asked how everything was. The value and quality is quite good but decor and ambience needs a lot of work.

profile_review

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Brasserie 66 has changed their lunch menu. It is extensive but a little heavy on sandwiches. It should include a chicken dish that is not part of a sandwich. Other than that the standard of food is excellent and value is excellent.

profile_review

Dante (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

I do like Dantes and consider it to be underrated as restaurants go in Blanchardstown, but i do think they are getting complacent. My last two visits did not prove to be that good. While the food is good and value is good, the ambience is just not good. Very clinical. Also desert on this occasion was not up to standard, chocolate brownie nearly burned and eton mess lacking meringue. Hopefully management and staff can get more enthusiastic and look at these issues.

profile_review

Pacinos

Value for money is very good. Food and service excellent. The seats could be more comfortable.

profile_review

Dante (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

I usually find dantes flawless but on this visit it was not up to usual standards. It was busier which it should be as the food is good and the value is excellent, but the service was slow, chips were overcooked, and the brownies were unavailable as they had a busy night the night before and used them all,new ones were been baked as we were there, but would not be ready in time for us.Its hard to believe a restaurant doesn't have organisation skills when something on the menu is getting low.Having said this i would still highly recommend this restaurant.

Bradys do a full service menu now at lunchtime instead of a carvery. It is such good quality for food and money, never disappoints. Would recommend,

profile_review

Maximilians Bistro
Superquinn Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

The standard of food for a 2 course lunch meal for under €13 is amazing. It would equal the standards of any high class restaurant for much more money. Nothing is a problem. My choice of main course was customed built to suit me. Highly recommend.

profile_review

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Had a fantastic lunch here but chose it from the diinner menu. it was the best fillet steak i've had in years. The presentation alone was amazing. My waitress could not have been more attentive, she went above and beyond the call of duty and couldn't have been more helpful and efficient. The ambience here is really lovely reminiscent of a high class New York restaurant. Highly recommended.

profile_review

Brasserie Sixty6

Dante (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

The food here was very a very good standard. Every dish is prepared fresh after the order so there is a little delay but well worth it for the quality of food and the one one of value for money. There were more people dining there at lunchtime which dantes richly deserves. The word must be out that this is one of the best experiences in blanchardstown for food and good value.

profile_review

Bradys Castleknock Inn
Old Navan Road, Castleknock, Dublin

Bradys is above average standard for pub grub. There is a varied menu ranging from beef to chicken to fish. The quality of the food is very good. I do think they could introduce a special price on a 2 course lunch menu. Having said that the food will bring me back to bradys.

profile_review

Dante (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

Dantes is really good value. We had 2 adults and 2 children and the children's menu was such good value at €5.95 for 2 courses plus soft drink. The only big problem I had is that we were not allowed in until 12 even though the door was open and it was freezing outside. The other peeve I would have is that 2 items I ordered for dessert weren't available even though they were on the menu. Excuse given was that they had a busy night the night before and desserts were not ready for lunch. This is a little unacceptable. Having said all that i will be back for quality of food and value.

profile_review

Maximilians Bistro
Superquinn Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

Glad to see they have re-instated the 2 course lunch menu in this restaurant. It was a big mistake to stop it before this.the standard of food was so good. Desert as ever was also very good.

Dante (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

We had steak and it was beautifully cooked. It came with a very good salad and skinny chips all cooked fresh. Service was very friendly and fast with the orders. Eton mess was amazing. Value for money was excellent.

The Helm Bar & Restaurant
The Harbour, Westport, Mayo

The Helm is amazing for food. The menu is very varied. Something for everyone. With the main course comes a very generous side of chips and side of vegetables, all fresh and piping hot. The cheesecake is to die for. Value for money has to be about the best in Ireland never mind the west. Highly recommended.

profile_review

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

The swift lunch in brasserie 66 is the best in the city centre. The food is cooked to order and so fresh and tasty. Deserts are really good in particular the cheesecake. They have refurbished recently which has improved the ambience.

profile_review

Dante (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

Dante's is probably the best food restaurant in Blanchardstown. The quality of food and freshness in cooking is always consistent no matter when i go. The atmosphere is a little clinical. It does not get enough business for the service it provides. I would definitely recommend it for their lunch special or even a la carte. A glass of their house wine is 4.25 approx which is amazing value. Maybe they need to look at the decor, tha'ts the only fault i would have. More atmosphere needed.

profile_review

Brownes Steakhouse
The Plaza, Blanchardstown Village, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

We had the lunch special which provides a main and soft drink or tea and coffee with that for 10euros which is tremendous value. I just don't know why it was so empty. The standard of the food was good as was the service. I would definitely recommend for lunch. They also do an early bird for 19.95euros with a glass of wine included. The atmosphere is a little like a work canteen which may be the reason for people not going there at lunch time but overlooking that the food and value for money is very good.

profile_review

Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill
51 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

We had the early bird and standard of food was very good. However we ordered chips as a side and had to send them back because they were under cooked. It was a birthday meal and as arranged with the restaurant they put a candle in the desert for the birthday girl and wrote her name in chocolate on her plate.Very pleased with that. Wine is not cheap. No house wine to speak of. Cheapest bottle of white wine was 28euros for Chardonnay. Cheapest bottle of Pinot Gricio was 38euros. Expensive by other restaurant prices. Generally though a good experience. Staff were very pleasant.

Toscana City Centre
3 Cork Hill, Dame Street (opposite Dublin Castle), Dublin City Centre, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

The atmosphere is good in this restaurant but it is small. We had pizzas on the day which were nice but the chips we ordered with them were not nice. Tasted oily. The staff were courteous. I felt the price on the a la carte menu was pricey. Otherwise it was pleasant.

37 Dawson Street
37 Dawson Street, Dawson Street, Dublin

The food was very good here. But above all the service was amazing. Talk about attention to detail. It was my birthday and they brought the desert out with a candle in it and sang happy birthday to me. Brilliant touch. The only fault I would have is that when the meal was over we could not get a seat at the bar. This somewhat marred the end of the night. Otherwise a very enjoyable experience.

profile_review

Maximilians Bistro
Superquinn Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

I always give maximillians a good review. The food is always good and it was on this occasion and the service pleasant. But they have decided to abandon their usual set lunch menu in favour of an a la carte style menu so what used to be the best valued lunch has become expensive. That was very disappointing. As a result we had no starter but just a main for the same price of the original set menu they used to employ. I do hope they will change back as people will go elsewhere for better value. The cheesecake as always was to die for.

profile_review

Marina Inn
Strand Street, Dingle, Kerry

This is more a pub atmosphere than a pub/restaurant atmosphere. Seemed like a bar where the locals go. We had heard term good reports of food here and it didn\'t disappoint. The portions were huge. Maybe even too big. A big disappointment was the variety of white wine. No pinot gricio, in this day and age. It wouldn\'t be a place you\'d stay for long in after the food. The ambience lacked atmosphere.

We got into this bar/restaurant late after a long drive from Dublin with 12 minutes left to order food but it made no difference to the service provided and quality of food. Absolutely lovely. We had the early bird, and it was beautifully presented and tasted absolutely delicious. The desert was an Eton Tidy,as they call it,and although it was beautiful,it was quite small. The service is amazing in this restaurant, the customer is just waited on hand and foot. A lovely experience, which i will repeat.

Kilkenny Restaurant & Cafe
1st Floor, 5/6 Nassau Street, City Centre South, Dublin

The food here is very good usually, but on the morning in question we had the breakfast, and it was not that warm. The service is quite slow,so there could be more people on the tills. The atmosphere is always good here and the value is good. The staff are friendly and efficient. The deserts are amazing here.

The Heron's Cove
The Harbour, Goleen, Goleen, Cork

This is a B n B with a restaurant for evening meal, which is a real treat. The menu is mainly made up of fish dishes as you would expect from the location. The atmosphere is country kitchen in the restaurnt. The food is very good. I do think there could be more meat dishes available, but overall the 3 course menu is very good value and of a very high standard. The staff are so homely, and cannot do enough for you.

Maximilians Bistro
Superquinn Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

This has got to be the best 2 course lunch available in the Blanchardstown area. Its a starter and main course for 10.99. Very high quality on both courses. The service is friendly and very efficient. Nothing seems too much work for them. I would recommend this highly.

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Brasserie 66 is attracting attention at lunch time, and well deserved. Their swift lunch is very good value at 10 euros, for a main and tea or coffee or soft drink. Quality of the food is excellent. Cheescake desert never fails here, probably the best in Dublin.

El Cordobes Tapas
The Plaza, Blanchardstown, Dublin

The value of the lunch here is really good. A main course with a glass of wine for 10euros. The food was well presented and very good quality. What lets this restaurant down is the lack of ambience. The menu comes in plastic covered paper. It just felt like being in a canteen. Its such a pity because i would highly recommend the food.

Bay Restaurant
369 Clontarf Road, Dublin 3, Clontarf, Dublin

Bay restaurant is beautifully positioned on the coast road. The views are amazing from the outside seating area. We had fish and chips, which was hake. It was very well cooked, but a little expensive. The service although friendly was very slow. The restaurant was very busy at the time. The desert of pavlova was delicious. I would recommend eating ouside if the weather permits. This improves the enjoyment. Overall this is a very nice restaurant and worth a visit.

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

The 10 euros lunch offer is attracting the crowds here, and rightly so. It is such good value. Good quality food, and it comes with a soft drink,or a tea or coffee, which is really good value for 10 euros nowadays. Agata our hostess was very friendly and efficient.Long may this good value lunch last at Brasserie 66.

Maximillian's food never disappoints. The staff are very flexible with the menu. I ordered the chicken with tomato sauce which wasn't on the menu, and they kindly obliged. The cheesecake is to die for. Service is very friendly and efficient.

TGI Friday (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

The restaurant was very busy when we arrived, but we got a seat quickly. However service was very slow. It took some time for our main course to arrive. The desert of Strawberry Sundae was very disappointing, mostly ice cream. On the menu,it had described that this consisted of ice cream, strawberries and cream. There was 1 strawberry on the top,and way too heavy on the ice cream. You would imagine for an American themed restaurant, they would have gotten this desert in particular better.

Maximilians Bistro

The quality of food at Maximilians is fantastic, and they are decent proportions. Their cheescake is particularly good. Service is fast and friendly. I would highly recommend it for their lunch special, with a starter and main for 10.99.

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Brasserie 66 does the best value on lunch, with a main course and a soft drink or tea or coffee included for 10 euros. Fantastic value. The atmosphere here has improved since i was last there. People are getting the news that this place offers good value and good food. The service is very attentive and efficient. Desert is always good here, maybe a little pricey at 6.95,considering lunch special is so competitively priced.Having said that, desert is delicious here.

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Brasserie 66 is such good value for the swift lunch,a soft drink,or tea and coffee is included in the price of 10 euros, which is good value. I think the menu could be more varied, but the quality of the food is good. Their deserts are very good, quality wise, and size wise. With the cheesecake, comes a delicious blackcurrant ice cream, and some fresh blackcurrants. This is a very high quality desert.

The Helm Bar & Restaurant
The Harbour, Westport, Mayo

The Helm is probably the best kept secret in Westport. The food is amazing, and the value is superb. The food just keeps coming in side orders which are included in the price, which is a nice change nowadays in restaurants. Shay and his dad are lovely hosts, very friendly and hospitable. They make every effort to make your visit enjoyable. We will be back.

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Brasserie 66 continues to be a good choice for a city centre restaurant for lunch and dinner. The food is very good, and the service is excellent. I would recommend it to anyone looking for good food and good value. I would recommend they lower the price of a glass of presecco, its pricey at 9 euros a glass.

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

The food was very good, very high standard. I do think 21.90 for a 2 course pre theatre is a little pricey. Also the wine list is pricey, the house wine comes in at 19.95 a bottle which is very nice, but the rest of the wine list is more expensive. 9 euros for a glass of presecco is a bit high. Having said all that, the food is good, especially the cheesecake, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Maximilians Bistro
Superquinn Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

This restaurant does amazing value on its 2 course lunch menu, plenty of food at a great price. Its a starter and main course,i do think however you should be able to choose a main and a desert instead if you do not want a starter. I asked about this, and it is not possible. Having said that, the service and the food is always good.

Darwins
80 Aungier Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Darwins as usual delivered. The steak is always superb quality in Darwins, and perfectly cooked. It does not come with much other than mashed potato,so you have to order sides, which brings up the cost of the Pre Theatre. Also ,not everything on the desert menu for the Pre theatre was available. The staff are lovely, and Amy runs a very efficient restaurant along with her mam Dolores. I'll be back.
