Boulevard Cafe
27 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

I purchased a deal for 3 course meal for 2 people with bottle of wine for 60euro. This is not great value, the 3 course meal would only cost €19.95 each if we had just walked in off the street. The wine was ok. The food was ok but has been better on past visits. Staff are attentive and friendly.

Brasserie 7
The Capel Building, Capel Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

2nd visit to this restaurant. The service is excellent, the staff are very friendly and attentive. The food is good but not quite up to the standard of the first time I visited. We were there early evening and requested a quiet table but background music is fairly loud so I would imagine when more people are there, the noise level must be high! A very good restaurant and I would go back. Very good value

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Lovely restaurant. Very helpful friendly staff and the food is delicious. We had a Menupages deal - 3 course meal for 2 with a bottle of wine and prosecco to start with. Very good value! I would go back.

Buenos Aires Grill
Unit 2 Castle Way, Golden Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Very disappointed. Food is average. My daughter ordered the Chocolate Lava with icecream for dessert. This is like a chocolate brownie with a gooey chocolate inside which is served hot. The first one was burnt. I could smell that it was burnt from the other side of the table. So we sent that back and asked for another. The next one came about 10 mins later. This one was also burnt and again I could smell that it was burnt. We sent this one back and asked for a banoffee pie instead. About 10 mins later another burnt Chocolate lava was thumped down on the table, my daughter explained that she thought that particular batch of those chocolate buns were all burnt and that she had asked for a banoffee dessert instead. It was whisked away with very bad grace and about 10/15 mins later the banoffee finally arrrived. It was ok. The service was very poor, it takes ages to catch the waiting staff eye or call them to the table. No apologies were given and it was very much as if we were a nuisance. We were not charged for the banoffee but I was left sitting having finished my own dessert for almost an hour while waiting for my daughter to finally get an edible dessert. A cup of coffee on the house would not have gone amiss. All in all, very poor service, food is ok, the chunky chips are lovely but the steak was mediocre. I wont be back again

Viva
27 Richmond Street South, Portobello, City Centre South, Dublin

I really enjoyed our visit. Not the place to go if you are in a hurry but great for a relaxed leisurely meal. The staff are very efficient and friendly, food lovely and the hot chocolate is to die for!

Little Jerusalem - Rathmines
3 Wynnefield Road, Dublin 6 , Rathmines, Dublin

Very busy. We had a reservation and still had to stand waiting for a table. Starters were delicious but I do think mains were a bit skimpy - maybe because we were on the Menupages voucher deal. Desserts took ages to come and were a bit disappointing - dry and no effort made with presentation.

Acapulco Restaurant
7 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

I have been to Acapulco many times, I love Mexican food and there is a good choice of gluten free dishes for anyone who is coeliac or wheat intolerant. Yesterday on the spur of the moment we dropped in for the early bird. I was disappointed. There are definitely different chefs! The food does not taste fresh, a salad is just a handful of chopped iceberg, the coating on the mushroom cheese pancakes was overdone. My partner had the nachos, the tiniest little bowl of burnt nachos ever. We did say it to the waiter and his response was 'sorry about that'. Very disappointed and not sure I would go back unless they get back to the great restaurant they were.

Acapulco Restaurant

I have been to Acapulco many times, the food is good, staff are friendly. My own gripe would be that the tables are crammed in and when busy, it is very, very noisy!

Very friendly staff, food is lovely and very reasonably priced. Bring your own bottle - what more could you ask for? We have been there twice and will be back!
