Savour and Sip Smithwick’s Pale Ale at Taste of Dublin 2012

Visitors to the seventh annual Taste of Dublin Festival will get to sip and savour the craft brewed taste of Smithwick’s Pale Ale, the new addition to the Smithwick’s range throughout the weekend at this year’s festival from 14th-17th June.

In keeping with the theme of the festival ‘Proud to be Irish’, Smithwick’s has over 300 years of history and heritage in Ireland and will be giving festival goers the chance to sample Smithwick’s Pale Ale over the weekend in the boutique surroundings of Dublin’s picturesque Iveagh Gardens.

Craft brewed in individual batches using the finest ingredients: aromatic Amarillo hops, 100% pale ale malt and the prized Smithwick’s yeast,  Smithwick’s Pale Ale is a delicious full tasting beer with a long finish, rich golden colour and creamy head, and is a perfect accompaniment to a wide variety of tasty dishes.  Its unique ingredient combination gives it a distinctive flavour profile, differentiating it from other craft beers and making it a must try for beer and even wine lovers.

Visitors to Taste of Dublin in the Iveagh Gardens will be treated to a feast for the senses from 20 of Dublin’s top restaurants including interactive master classes and live entertainment on two stages.

Taste of Dublin is also delighted to announce that Jamie Oliver will launch this year’s festival and will be giving a live cooking demonstration on stage in the Iveagh Gardens.  Jamie will join a stellar line up of Irish and international chefs including Rachel Allen, Valentine Warner, Oliver Dunne, Richard Lewis and Ross Lewis.
