Waited 40 minutes for a desert that never came.Food very average.Staff very inefficient seem to go missing for long preriods of time.Service rubbish for the prices we were charged.Tried to charge us for desert that never arrived.When we informed the staff what happened they gave no apology.Can say will not be returning or recommending.Oh yeah you need to ask for all the menu`s we only got the A La Cart.Wrote directly to Caffreys but obviously got no reply.I wonder why !!!

Been to Caffery's load of times and love to eat here in front of the roaring fire and piano playing...food is delicious although slightly overpriced. Well worth a visit

First and last visit to this restaurant, food average a bit on the greasy side for me. A few measly veg overcooked and not enough for 6 people. Service appalling, staff seemed to diapppear regularly. Overall a bad experience, I did email restaurant directly and am still waiting on a reply, so obviously no one seems to care or accept responsibility, would always give restaurant a chance to reply first before posting but not this time unfortunately.

I eat in Caffrey's regularly for lunch and dinner. I really love it. It has to be the nicest pub in Ireland. Really fabulous old world interior. Excellent food always. Exceptionally friendly staff. I love Caffrey's! Looking forward to my next visit!

I wouldn't normally submit a review for breakfast but this is no ordinary breakfast at Caffreys. I stopped just before lunchtime in this gem of a place and was undecided what to order so ordered the safe bet- the breakfast. I have to say it was the best breakfast I have ever had. Extra touches like fried potatoes, softly fried eggs, perfectly grilled mushrooms made it extra special. The service was second to none and I'll definitely be back. Fantastic. Great. Brilliant.

arrived late afternoon after travelling from Mayo, stopped by chance and we were pleasantly surprised by the choice and range of food offer here. Had a lovely meal, the children enjoyed there meal as much as we did. Great value and well worth returning to, we have told many of our friends and family also.

I had the pleasure to pop into Caffrey's on the off chance after a round of golf with my in-laws, the food was fantastic value and the services was with a smile, the steak burger hit the spot and the few pints after to wash it down made it a very good experience

While looking at houses in nearby Dunboyne we wereearlyfor an appointment so we decided to have breakfast in Caffrey's. We all had tea, my son had the breakfast bagel while 2 others had toast we also got a plate of fresh brown bread. The bagle was very tasty wit a sausage,egg and bacon there was lost of toast and the tea was never ending. The service wasexcellent and we weren't waiting long for the order to be delivered. We have now bought a house in the area and I am looking forward to trying lunch and dinner in Caffery's.

I came here with a group of 4 people, and we were all very pleased with this place. If you like a relaxed pub atmosphere with restaurant quality food then this is the place to go. We didn't have starters, and all but one, who had lamb, had the steak for mains. It was very tasty, and excellent value. I will definitely go here again, and would be happy to recommend it to anyone.

Having been regular, loyal customers of Cafferys, we have become increasingly disappointed with each visit recently. The standards at Caffreys have definitely spiraled downwards at a very noticeable rate. On our last visit Sunday 7 March it was very busy and the food quality, portion size, service and appreciation of customer loyalty etc were all compromised!! Then to add to this when we received our bill we were again being overcharged… this for the second time in as many weeks…not good enough!! We asked to speak with a manager who arrived with a half hearted apology, he made no goodwill gesture and took my phone number stating that someone would call the following day which they did. Again offering a half hearted apology and excuse that the restaurant was very busy. A bottle of wine on the house when we next visited was on offer that is put as 'if we decided to return' (staff had confirmed I believe prior to the call that we were very regular customers). This gesture was very poor in light of two incidences of over charging and the fact that one cannot drink and drive. Caffreys is a total rip-off where you need to watch your bill because and if they are busy you get smaller portions and poor service!! It is unlikely that we will be back.
