    This gives a very bad first impression as you have to walk through a pub to get to the restaurant, plus it is a bit of a tight squeeze. The food and service though make up for it. Ive had both the steak and curry and both are lovely.

    Saw their menu on this website & it looked promising. However, the chateaubriande is not on the current menu. The placelooked rustically cosy, open fire etc. but was freezing. The fillet steak was over aged by at least 3 days (not good). Not a great selection of wines. Amateurish. Very overpriced for the standard on offer. The pub looks like a nice place for a quiet pint, but dont bother with the food.
