This was the first time I visited a Milano's though I had a bad memory from a Pizza Express in the UK. I was shocked at the pepperoni pizza. It had absolutely no flavour from the base, sauce or pepperoni. I'll stick to Goodfella's from now on. The fig dessert was a disappointment. A few mini-figs stewed in alcohol. I thought it would be a healthy, light, fresh-fruit dessert! The meal was insubstantial. I had a cheese sandwich when I got home. I can't understand the positive reviews here. I can't believe a pizza lover would eat here. At €12 for a pizza and €5 for a mini-dessert with coffee I don't see why it's down as one '€' in the price range. And although I don't get it, the place was very busy!

I love Milano for a less formal, more laid back lunch or dinner. The antipasto plate is a favourite of mine and the make caesar salad special, it is delicious. Pizzas and pastas are lovely too. A great place for tasty meals with great value for both food and wine.

i love this restaurant! if you love pizza then you should definately go here. You can watch as they make your pizza, so you know its fresh and the pizzas themselves are absolutely delicious. Staff were very friendly but took a while for the pizzas as it was quite busy. Reccommended defiinately.

Milano is always consistently good. I eat here quite regularly and it can always be relied upon to be good. It was pretty busy but not a noisy as it can get some Friday evening particularly when there are big groups upstairs so it was pleasant. We were seated promptly and the service was efficient as ever throughout.

Milano always have such great offers so value for money is excellent. With free pizzas etc, you can eat in here for very cheaply & leave the place very satified. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is second to none. Really nice for a cosmopolitan feeling if you're heading out for a few drinks. Thumbs up! I eat here regularly.

I ate here using a two for one voucher on Friday. It was very pleasant. The service was very good. They regularly update the menu which is great as it adds variety. The drinks are pretty pricey but the voucher made it reasonable overall.

Went here with a 2 for 1 voucher from Irish Indo, I had Diavolo Pizza my guest had lasagne, staff very friendly and considerate, however meals slow coming out during lunch time period. Food was very nice, presented beautifully, however without a voucher its very expensive for what it is, pasta portions arent massive and wine is very over priced per glass, overall a reliable dining experience rather than an amazing one.

The food is never the highlight of a visit to Milano. It is consistent and functional. However, there is always a good atmosphere with very friendly service. It is a great place to meet with a group of friends. and chat over a glass of wine.

Went to Milanos a few wekks ago after my friend telling me how good it was. And she wasn't wrong. The location is lovely by the water. The food was outstanding, I had pizza with salad in the middle beautiful and of course had to have dessert, tiramusu I can still taste it, it was so good. The service was excellent, order taken promply when we were ready and with a smile and while we were waiting out wine came promptly before our mains so we could relax and chat before the food. I did think the wine could be a little cheaper, but it was a lovely wine so got over that. Over all everything was excellent and good value for money in a nice friendly relaxed atmosphere. Rating of 4... keep up the good work

Milanos is a nice restuarant ,the staff are very friendly and prompt, the food is very tasty and the quality is consistant. However there are a few issues I have with the place. It's very parent friendly and often packed to the rafters so on a busy night be prepared for noise - quiet and intimate it ain't! I normally go for salads but they are quite expensive, €13/€14 for a salad is a bit much, but the special offers on pizzas midweek is very good value and they are lovely. I'd go to Milanos as a treat but a three course meal deal elsewhere would always beat it hands down.

i've eaten here a number of times and the standard has always been consistently good. i especially like the etna pizza and the calabrasse. they often do 2 for 1 offers which make it great value. however without them €15 is a little pricey for a pizza and the wine is expensive when bought by the glass. Service is always good.

Me and a girlfriend ate here on a busy Saturday night. Food was really tasty. The restaurant was busy with a number of large groups but service was still perfect. Wine was not too pricey and served chilled (a big bug-bear of mine!) We didnt have anything too fancy - just pizza and pasta - but both were delicious and filling. Shared a desert and we not rushed out of the place... Nice dining experience overall and not too pricey.

I visited this rest with my daugher and husband. Never been before but wont be going again. The kitchen area is open to the publich which is great idea. The starters were good quality my only dissapoitmnet was that food was not made in house. If you want real italian not a good place.

Went here as our first choice was deserted, it was busy enough - Saturday evening, after a rugby match (on tv). Was on a date (day trip to Limerick) so wasn't exactly concentrating on the food... The service was fine, the food was ok, the table was a bit small. I enjoyed the pasta pollo although I'd have liked it without the chicken as I left it on the side of the plate. It was busy, the food was ok, lots of groups and a family sitting near us. All in all, not bad, but not great either.

The service leaves alot to be desired. Be prepared to wait to order your food or even for a glass of water! They seem to beo short staffed on the 4 occasions I've been there. Cannot get their attention. Food is alright but overpriced for a pizza.

I have to say it was my most disappointing meal I have ever had. I was hear last week with my partner and it was bad from the start. We were seated by 2 screaming kids. Our garlic bread starter had no garlic on it, I had a shrimp pizza which was lacking in any flavour and what flavour it had was not nice. The staff were very hard to find and when taking away my food (which I barely touched) was asked if I wanted to take it away, I replied no thanks I didn't enjoy it,and it was shrugged off as though it was tough luck and no apology. I had been told such good things about this place but will not be going back again

Great buzz. Great service. The food is what you'd expect from a chain - a generic version of the original - but tasty. Nice place - will go again.

It's a great restaurant with very good pizzas and selection of wines. Every time I go there, it's great - food is lovely, always very fresh vegetables on the pizzas, just great! But it is also true - some portions are a bit too small:( The atmosphere is nice, sometimes little bit too bright and loud inside during the dinner. Staff is friendly. For pizzas and fresh vegetables - I always back here!

We frequent Milanos quite a lot and always find the food & value absolutely great. Their wine list is excellent and with out doubt their Pizza is definitely the best in Limerick. Their service is always excellent, and I do find that their menu has improved. We took our 16 month old with us last night and got presented with a children's menu which was brilliant. She could have a starter of dough balls with garlic butter & chopped up tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers etc, she then had a mini margarita pizza, she also could have had a side salad which didn';t order as we felt she had loads of food, for dessert she had ice cream with strawberries & a strawberry coulis and then had a bambinocinno(could be wrong spelling) which is a little cup of frothed milk with a little chocolate on top. On arrival she was given her crayons & paper to draw with. Overall, I think they are excellent. We have also used their takeaway service and that's brill as well.

Pizza's are usually pretty good although a tad small. Good thin bases and a good selection. I usually go for the aubergine main course dish which is always lovely. Try the Peroni Gran Riserva beer which is pretty different to most beers. Like the atmosphere here and it's usually busy most nights.

Love the venue of Milano in Limerick, opposite the river but the food is only average, the last time I ate there my pizza was dripping in olive oil! Had a Christmas party there & the food was very poor, prepared and presented badly!

I've been to another Milano's before (In Dublin) and I am still not totally mad about the place. On the last visit(for lunch), I went for one of their extra thin pizzas, but it was actually a bit soggy, and althought the thinner base is supposed to enhance the flavours, I thought my pizz was a bit tasteless. My boyfriend had a pizza with an egg and lots of watercress on it, which had better flavour but wasn't my taste. My strater (tomato and mozarella salad) was not topo good either..very balnd. Service and atmosphere was very good, and we had AMAZING brownie sundaes for desert, but I still have mixed feelings about it.

Ate here for my birthday last year and as it was a chain restaurant I was quite impressed! Atmosphere was lovely and relaxed and it was such good value for money. Starters were wonderful and pizza great also. I would advise against the pastas though as the tortellini I ordered were quite watery and unappetizing. However the divine chocolate brownie sundae more than made up for this little complaint. I'll definitely be back!

Took my girlfriend to this restaurant and was highly impressed, nice clean open kitchen so you can watch your food being cooked. Nice modern interior. The food was absolutely brilliant. Excellent value for money and definitley Limerick's best place to go if you want a good pizza in a restaurant setting.
