Got take away in Annacotty Copper and Spice, Food could not be faulted but price was a bit steep. I got Jalfrezi and Rice with Naan Bread and a Can of Coke, this came to €17.35. Rice is not included with main which it normally is.Nice friendly staff but prices need to be looked at

Visited here on a trip to Limerick as wanted to try an Indian and this one had good reviews to date.Overall I liked the restaurant.Had a little trouble finding it as it is about 10mins walk uphill out of the main city centre and was pretty deserted around the area.Had planned on trying the thali which sounded like an Indian version of a mezze but it was priced €5 more expensive than stated on Menu Pages. We started with lovely free poppodums and gorgeous dips and then had the veg samosas. They were very nice but unusually they were fried in a cake pastry rather then usual crispy filo pastry. My companion had the veg biryani and I had the saag aloo. Both were very nice particularly the saag aloo.I ordered the small portion of the saag aloo and this was plenty. We also had peshwari naan and pilau rice which were fine.We finished with homemade ice cream which was a small portion and rock hard but tasted nice.Service was good and they had a few diners but not many.Liked the decor and the copper delph. Was overcharged €5 for my main as I ordered the small portion but they charged me for the large. They changed the bill promptly when I pointed out their mistake.Overall a very good Indian but I've been to better.

Definitely the best Indian food in Limerick City. The food was quality, flavoursome and well made. The service is very good. It is the type of service that you don't notice is there, the server just happens to be there when you need them. Located next to the Milk Market, it is probably not Limerick City's most beautiful location, but the interior is well decorated. It doesn't look so cheesy and tacky like many other Indian restaurants. The starters and the sauces are fantastic. The onion badjis I had were the best ever. The best Indian but also the most expensive too but I think worth it.

Have not been here for a coupe of years but the decor has changed - very nice - more intimate. Food was very tasty. I am a big fan of Indian but to be honest I think I might return to my favourite Indian restaurnat elsewhere as I think it has an edge.

I've gotten take out from here a few times, when I visit my friend who lives in Limerick and RAVES about this place- and I have to agree it is very tasty. Decent portions and a delicious nann (like, really good!) combine to make this a great option for eating in Limerick.

I agree with one of the reviewers point below, for my overall opinion I think this restaurant is just an average in everything. Nothing tooo bad but nothing impress either. 4 of us went for a after work dinner, all went for set menue-24.50 per head. We were told we could chose combination starters per person as starter, but got charged extra on the bill. One of the girl were there before said the food wasn't as good as if you went for ordinary dinner menu not the set menu. I think for the price they charge per head, the food quality shouldn't be different. The main course was definitely a good one, tasty! service was OK too. For 24.50 per head, your dessert choice is very limited on the dessert menu.Overall, an OK place to go but we weren't impressed from the reviews we read before we went.

Best Indian meal we have ever had! My husband had the Seekh Kebab for starters and Lamb curry for mains. I had the vegetarian thali for mains (3 veggie dishes so had channa masala, teen dal and bhindi bhaji). We also got a bottle of house wine for €20. Food was great and price was very reasonable. Definitely recommend.

My friend and I were staying in Limerick for a week with work and we ate here one evening. I was so impressed with the place, the food was really lovely and the place had a nice atmosphere also. I had the lamb curry which was really tasty! The only critisism I would have is that the waitress did not ask me how spicy I wanted the curry to be even though it says on the menu taht you have a choice. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with copper cups and plates its really lovely!

I have only good things to say about the meal I had here with 3 other friends before Christmas. The coconut naan bread was amazing, we chose to order from one of the set menus. The starter allowed you to choose either one full starter or you could mix and match and pick three starters. (smaller portions). The choices varied from Indian, Thai and Chinese food. The main course again was very tasty and there was an abundance of food. The rice and the dish both come in traditional beaten, silver bowls and the plates are warm to allow the meal to remain hot. The desserts were also very good, a selection of sorbets, home made ice creams, apple tart, warm chocolate fudge cake and a raspberry mascarpone cheese cake(not recommended). As a part of the deal a bottle of wine was included, The white wines on the menu were light and fruity. It was busy and loud that night in the restaurant and there seemed to be minimal staff on. Although the staff were busy we never felt rushed and were very professional and pleasant.

Average is all I could say about this. In fairness the food was good but the atmosphere was poor and not helped by the lack of a smile and interaction from either staff. The tiled floor, no tablecloths no candle was lit on my table and bright lighting all contributed to the "cold" greeting and feeling I got. They need to up their customer experience a couple of notches.

I decided to try the Sushi Night in Copper and Spice after seeing their ad in a local paper - big fan of sushi, hard to get it in Limerick! For €20 I received a decent portion of sushi including a little jug of sake and a starter. I ordered basmati rice as extra but I had plenty from between my starter and the sushi platter. It was absolutely delicious and I would order it again. My companion opted out of having sushi - she did not want anything spicy so she asked our waitress (who was very helpful) for a recommendation and she had a korma, which she was crazy about. The service was great, staff were quick, helpful, efficient and the atmosphere was lovely. I would definitely return.

Dined her with a group of four last Saturday night. We had booked well in advance for the early bird menu and were lucky to get. The restaurant was jam packed all night. The early bird is excellent value and we were not rushed to leave afterwards. Starters, main , desserts and 2 bottles of wine between 4 came to 34euro. Excellent value. I highly recommend the green thai curry. It was delicious. I would also avoid the cheese cheesecake, not for the undiscerning palate I think!!!

Starters and main course were delicious and faultless. More clarity could be introduced to the menu, in terms of whats on offer for the early bird deals. Disapointed though with the dessert.

I eat here a lot and had always enjoyed it, however on my last visit we had booked a table for 9 and the service was horrendous, our food was basically thrown at us with main courses arriving at the same time as starters. We had to ask the waitress 4 times to take our desert and coffee orders and each time she would take one persons and go and make it leaving everyone just fed up. The restaurant staff then turned on the lights at 9.50 in a clear attempt to hurry us out of the restaurant. To be honest we were delighted to go at this stage. I am disappointed though as I always liked this restaurant but am reluctant to go back now

I had a booking in this Indian for a Friday night. It is a top quality Indian restaurent. The atmosphere was lovely, the service excellent but more importantly the food was outstanding. I will most certainly be visiting this restaurent again. A good night had by all.

Well as indians go, this one is the best around, food superb, lovely atmosphere and well staffed. I have been to this place quite a few times and it is always spot on...also does Thai, Chinese and you can mix and match so to everybodys taste-buds..only downside is No parking out front of restaurant which is a bit of a bummer!!

One of my favourite restaurants, the Asian food here is so authentic. Excellent Early Bird- get the Early Bird card and get your sixth free. Fantastic value and they do take away too. This place is special.

Copper & Spices early bird menu is very very good value, i think its 25.90 for starter, main, dessert and drink. it's great because you can chose from the main menu which usually doesnt happen with early birds!!! the food is very good quality and the service is good also. you can really taste every spice and flavour!!

The early bird menu is FANTASTIC value, and offers a really big selection... the whole menu in fact, unlike some places where you have about 5 choices! We were there last week, and the restaurant has been all re-vamped, it looks amazing and I think the atmosphere is better now, with more privacy with the new layout.
