Stayed in a hotel in town on Sunday night and needed a good place to have breakfast. Cafe on the Row caught my eye as its on a lively padestrian street, bright athmosphere and a good buzz. The staff were the old style friendly cafe type that fuss over you and make you feel special, exchange a few words and put you in good form. The menu catered for a wide variety of appetites, but we went for the full Irish large. It was a wholesome meal and set us up for the day with juice, tea toast the works. The place was busy yet spotless and prices were on par with any city centre establishment. A great place to start the day be it work, shopping or lazing about. I have it earmarked for a return.

Not a pleasant experience , slow service a little curt and the toilets were filthy with the mops left inside the gents door and old cloth that was used to clean the sinks ( i hope ) left hanging on the handle a real turn off, great location pity its a wee bit tardy overall

I went there for a late lunch. The staff were lovely and run off there feet. I had the chicken nuggets and chips and my two friends had the tuna melt with chips and all of us really enjoyed our food.

The best place to go in Limerick for breakfast after a night out. Am starting to look forward to the breakfast more than the night out....

Lunch not as good as breakfasts but good value all the same. Good selection of paninis, with chips for one euro extra. Staff are really lovely-making polite conversation with lone diners bringing glasses of iced water to table for those that didn't order mineral etc.

Have eaten lunch here on a couple of occasions recently and was quite disappointed with the quality of the food (Lasagne & pizza). The lasagne seemed like it had been made since very early morning. The pizza I got was short on toppings and very bland. On the plus side the service was very good and I've had some lovely breakfasts here.
