Myself and the other half ate here one evening on the way home- we were very disappointed because we have heard good things about this restaurant. The service was very good (probably because there were only 3 tables of diners), but all in all the food wasnt great. We ordered bruschetta for starters and to be honest, I prefer my own. The mains were a vegie pizza and bolognaise - both a bit bland, not much flavour - the bolognaise could have done with a little more garlic, and the pizza a bit more sauce. The dessert we ordered was cheesecake, which had way too much cream on top, like 2 inches of cream- we couldnt finish it. All in all, over priced (the house wine was also v. expemsive compared to other restaurants) uncomfortable (the chairs are as hard as stone) and a place that we will no be revisiting soon.

This was my first time at this restaurant and I really liked it. I like the idea that you can go in for food or just coffee to chill out. The place is well worth a visit

Food was DELISH! I had a pot of fresh mussels in tomatoe and garlic sauce which was gorgeous! For mains I went for the Pesto Party Pizza..it was only goooorgeous! The bread was light, crispy and straight out of a stone oven. I gave 4/5 for atmosphere as it was early and the chef was chopping something on what sounded like a ceramic/hard plastic chopping board and after 15mins it became very annoying! For value, I gave 3/5, simply because of the wine. The wine selection is not the best. I paid EUR29.00 for a bottle of white wine which lacked quality and a full body flavour as promised on the description. That was dissapointing as I would have no problem paying for a good bottle of wine. I feel I was ripped off on the wine! Otherwise, the food was lovely, couldn't fault it. Shame the wine list didn't match the same standard.

Absolutely fantastic, by far the best restaurant in Limerick, without a doubt the best Italian.... To start I had the garlic bread which is made with fresh pizza bread and cooked in their Italian stone fire oven.. For my main I had the Crispy Chicken... Chicken fillet coated in a crispy batter with a sweet and sour chilli sauce, full of flavour, tender chicken cooked to perfection.... I finished off with a tiramisu which was heavenly all washed down with a crisp Pinot Grigio! Staff are great, they could not do enough and my food was served quickly and well presented... Will definately be a regular, and highly recommend it!

The Bruschetta bar is in my opinion the best Italian restaurant in Limerick. The food is always fresh and the portions are generous. The staff are very nice and the owner is always on hand to advise you on the menu and his selection of wines. I would recommend his Italian house red. You must try the bruschetta's as a starter they are one of their specialties. You won't get better anywhere. My favourite main course is meatballs with spaghetti and tomato sauce, always very fresh with the perfect hint of garlic and herbs. The lasagna is unique and made to a very specific old Italian recipe. You won't find a lasagna like it in Ireland. They have a fantastic choice of desserts. My favourite is the toffee mousse. This restaurant is great value for money and a great place to bring your family and friends- young and old, whatever the occasion.

I recently went for a meal at Bruschetta. It was an enjoyable evening. My one complaint would be that we received a very poor starter. I ordered the barbecue chicken wings but when they arrived they looked more like they had been boiled than barbecued. The skin was slimy and the "sauce" was very poor. It was more like a reddish salty thin gravy. To be fair to Bruschetta we did mention this at the end of the meal and were not charged for them. The main meal was very nice with parma ham and chicken and the service was polite and friendly. I would return again but would make sure I didn't order the chicken wings!

This is a great place to come for lunch, the service is fast and efficient and the food is great. The only issue I could have is with the decor and sitting arrangments.. otherwise a fantastic restaurant and will definately be checking out their dinner menu soon.

I have been visting here since it opened and this is a great lunch time spot if you have just an hour and want tasty food and efficient service with a nice atmosphere to boot and excellent value for money! I note a previous review saying the service was poor I have noticed recently that the staff are much more attentive and there is a owner/management prescence. The furniture is trendy and maybe not the most comfortable but given the prices and menu its not aimed at fine dining. THe coffees are great too.

I ate here with three friends and we were all very impressed by our dining experience there. The wide range of starters and mains was impressive. We all got different types of bruschetta to start, delish!!! Must recommend the onion jam one. The mushroom topped bruschetta was nice, but the mushrooms were on the scarce side sadly. That was the one and only bad thing I could say about our meal. Each of us had a different main course and were impressed with our choices. I had the chorizo pasta, yum... very spicy so not for the faint hearted! Will definitely eat there again. Great setting and atmosphere, fine food and good prices!

Ate here two weeks ago. Have to say great food. Reasonably priced. Service was excellant(they weren't to slow or to fast bringing out each course). Good Atmosphere, very busy. My only complaint is the sits not very comfortable and my partner was sitting on a stool. But overall a great place and will def be going back there again

Ate here for the second time on Friday last - once again had a great meal. The restaurant is buzzy and the food delicious. Had Greek Salad to start(huge portion), followed by a great Pizza. Before I had the Chilli Con Carne Lettuce Wraps which were amazing and then the Spicy Pepporoni Pasta which I would heartily recommend. Only criticism is the furniture - some of the chairs are quite flimsy and the last time I was on a stool - they need to invest in better furniture.

went for lunch here last week, the food was good but the service was extremely bad!! had to wait at least 5 mins for menus and when we received these(they were practically thrown at us by waitress) it was another 10 mins before anyone came near us to take out order!! i then asked for the wine list...big mistake...didnt get it until we recived our food!! I understand that they were more than likely understaffed but the customer should not have to suffer because of this!! the food is good, cheap and cheerful!! the home fries were really tasty!!

Great value for money, a place you can pop in at any time without worrying about reservations etc. It is a bit on the cheap and cheerful side, but provides a good alternative to the noisy and the overbooked competitors in this market segment. The bruschetta is very nice with lots of choices that gives a novelty factor. I have been there 3 times and it is somewhere convenient and affordable so I can see myself going there intermittently.

We visited this restaurant on Fathers Day, 2 adults and 2 children. The place was spotlessly clean. There was a quiet relaxed atmosphere that I was not expecting from such a modern setting. The children were each given colouring books crayons and markers. The service was excellent and the staff polite and helpful especially with the children. The food was delicious and we asked for some of the dishes to be tweaked and this was no problem. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and hope to visit again soon.

Glad to see that this restaurant has been added. It is a great addition to Limerick's dining scene and offers great, low priced food. As the title suggests, the bruschetta is really good!
