Dined here on a visit to Limerick w my father & other family. We had 2 pizzas and 2 salads. The pizzas were 12 inch , 2 toppings each and taste otherwise ok but there was very little of the tomato sauce. The price around 16 euro per pizza was outrageously over priced. The salads were also small, but I didn't try them so can not comment on the salads taste. The service was efficient but not particularly friendly. It was quite noisy too .It seemed very popular with locals and was very busy. I would personally not choose to return, mainly due to dear prices that did not match the quality and quantity of the food.

Perfect family restaurant. Children are welcome, food choices are good and reliable. Freindly service and good city centre location.

Dined here during the week for a family of 4. Service slow by what seemed like inexperienced or new staff with no manager on duty, incorrect food arrived, garlic bread starter arrived after the main course but only after we had asked for it again. Veg soup very good, but the pizzas were not great and had very little topping. All in all bad value, €16 for a pizza with very little on it is bad value when another restaurant we went to 2 nights later had a starter & main course for 16.95.

I had lunch with a friend in Bella. I got the Spagitti Carbonara with Chicken and my friend got the lasagne. The food was really nice. The waitress was lovely and there was a few tables with diners at them. I had a lovely lunch and I will be returning again soon to try something different on the menu.

This is a great place for lunch. Always very busy but just shows how great their food is. I love their Chicken Stir Fry and their garlic bread. The pizzas are fantastic too. Lovely spot.

The service was quite good, I had spagetti carbonarra, it wasn't quite like the real italian spagetti carbonarra, it was very creamy ,however it was nice. it was reasonably priced. the atmosphere was nice in the restaurant.

I ate here last week with a friend of mine and my daughter. While the food was very tasty(as it always is) the service and the atmosphere was very poor. Our waitress walked around with an attitude like she didn't want to be there abd was bordering on being rude to us. It really put me off!! The place used to have a great buzzy atmosphere to it but it has really changed since they renovated. The place looks beautiful but was not a very relaxing place to dine, mostly down to the waiting staff not being very welcoming. they've obviously got their kitchen staff right, now they just need to send their service staff on a training course of customer service and then I might go back

Bella Italia is still one of my favourites in Limerick. I was there recently for lunch and had a chicken salad, my companions all had pasta and proclaimed their dishes to be extremely tasty. My salad was gorgeous, plentiful and less than €10 - happy days. Service was a mite slow but it was lunchtime to be fair. Would always recommend it and will return soon.

Based on the reviews I read on this site, my husband and I on a visit to Limerick chose to have our lunch here. We, like everyone else thought the decor was nice but that was the only thing that impressed us. Granted the lunch rush was dying down but it felt like the enthusiasm of the staff to look after the customers was too. After a wait my husbands Lasagna arrived but I still had another 5mins at least till my pizza came. When it did, it looked half cooked on top and burnt underneath. We weren't impressed by what we had ordered, even my husbands Lasagna was very dry and not very edible. There is nothing cheap about this place especially when the food can't live up to it. We won't be back.

Went here last night as a group of four. Was pleasantly surprised with the new decor-very modern, cosy and relaxing. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I had the brie for starter which was great and the cannelloni which was also gab. My husband loves pizzas and said that he would rate his among the best he has had. Meal and wine was very affordable. I would definately recommend it.

Often frequent bella Italia. Its never a let down. Lunch menu is the best value. Loads to recommend. Calzone Pizza is wonderful. Carbonara is really fresh (as is all the pastas. wonderful fresh orange juice (perfect for that Sat lunch cure). The tomato vinagarette used on the salads is very unique with a zesty tang. Great for kids too. Most dishes available in kids portions. my recommendation is plain and simple...Any pasta with their house tomato sauce...Kids love it ( and I usually finish it off for them). the only downside for me is that the dinner menu is pricey for what essentially is the same menu as the luch menu. I always get annoyed about this but it never stops me coming back....

On my recent visit here I have to be honest I thought it was a little pricey.I usually just get there takeaway food, Lasagnes,Bolognese etc which are good value for money and very convenient. The Dine in option I found a little too pricey for what I got.So I may just stay with the takeaway in future.

While the food is very good here i feel it is way too overpriced. €14 for a small pizza and €16.50 for a bowl of pasta.

I eat here regularly and find that the food is consistant and great value. Though i find that when there is a group the atmosphere quickly dies. think lay out could be an issue here. worth the visit though! enjoy!

Have eaten here on numerous occasions and is a lovey and relaxed casual spot. The food is always fantastic, good quality ingredients cooked well. Gorgeous meatballs!! Pobably best for lunch as opposed to dinner.

I have eaten here numerous times and think the food is fantastic, always freshly cooked! However, I ate here with a large group of people for an occassion and there was a serious lack of atmosphere in the restaurant, maybe if it was laid out better with dimmer lighting it would give a better effect!
