service was understated and efficient. the food was excellent, had sweet and sour chicken and a cod starter, very salty but delicious. location perect although parking can be difficult sometimes. very good early bird 4 course menu, about 18 euro each. to summarise, highly recommend the food. only bad point was the fact i had gone in the night before to tell them it was girlfriend's birthday and to stick a candle on some cake of some sort, they forgot. all in all , highly recommend.

my sister and I went here for dinner on the way back from Charleville the other night and I must say I was impressed really nice food friendly service and not pushy will come back again

I've been a few times when i stay with friends and i know what the last review means about the toilets but its a small price to pay for such quality food. Lovely traditional decor and the staff are very friendly. Recommend it!

Lovely decor and really nicely laid tables (real cloth napkins & tablecloths - haven't seen them too often lately!) Only quibbles would be access to the toilets which involved having to go through what seems to be a staff area (or at least they were all congregated there) and made me feel as if I was trespassin on a non-public area. Food was really good though and service was excellent. Surely that's the main thing!
