A nice homely resturant, service was fine but Im afraid the chicken curry I ordered was very disappointing as was my friends meal. The only explanation we could come up with was that the chef must have been off that day - we are by no means good cooks but we unfortunately decided we could have done better ourselves.

I know this restaurant and eat there on a regular basis. That should say enough....most of the people that i know that eat in Tí Seans do so because of the food and service. You get what you pay for with TÍ Seans... and to me that's a full belly. The food is simple and uncomplicated, yet, for want of a better word, good. And I think that what sums up this restaurant for me... it's simply good food. The reason the previous reviewer didn't get a smile... well I can only speculate...that there wasn't much to smile at. I can recommend this restaurant without reservation.

Dined here for Sunday Lunch! The cost of the lunch was on the higher side for Lunch @ 22 euro for 3 courses so was expecting good things. The first thing we noticed that it was spacious the service was efficient but without a smile. The menu looked very interesting but that is where it stopped. We had the following starters: mushroom with Garlic dip, black pudding salad, and two soups. The mushrooms were too big smaller mushrooms would have worked better the salad was covered in the dip which made the salad soggy! The dip should have been served seperately. The black pudding salad was dire! It was one slice of black pudding spread over Iceberg lettuce! A rocket salad would have worked better. The soups were tasty! The main course ordered were 2 sirloin steaks and 2 pork of loin! All dinners came swimming in gravy, which looked very unappetizing. The pork was extremely fatty and certainly not the Loin of pork and more the shoulder of pork. The steaks were also fatty and were served with mash as they did not do chips. Strangely enough the steaks were served with onion rings! The deserts we had were meringues which were okay, but nothing special. Overall we were disappointed and our opinion was that the food was average and very poor value for money!

Visited Ti Sean for the second time and was not disappointed. The service was excellent the staff were pleasant and efficient. My friend and I had difficulty choosing what to eat initially as there were so many choices available. I had a steak which was delicious. We were well satisfied with our delicious meal's and while we are living in Dublin cannot wait for our next weekend away in Limerick for a chance to visit Ti Sean.

I was here on a Saturday night at about 8, my first time, and I'd definitely come back. Got the soup to start and that was gorgeouse. Two of us got salmon which was on a bed of pasta, and 2 of us got T-bone steaks and both were gorgeous, the steak was huge and cooked perfectly to every one's taste. For dessert I got a strawberry shortcake stack and it was presented beautifully. All in all, a great meal in a lovely restaurant.
