I was at Saba on Friday night for early dinner 6.30 - 9.00pm. I always wanted to go there, because of great recommendations, but only managed to do so last Friday (25th May). We were a group of 6 girls. Atmosphere was amazing, great music and vibe and even it was loud, it wasn't SO loud as it might be in some restaurants in Dublin. Service was excellent, with a little bit of humour, but not too intrusive or offensive. Regarding food, I'm not a huge fan of Asian food, sometimes it upsets my stomach, but I will be back there again for sure. I had red duck curry with grapes and pineapple and greens with soya and garlic, was delicious! My friends had sirloin steak which was unusual, but tasty, according to them or fish, which was great as well. For dessert we shared Baileys cheesecake and chocolate brownie, they both were divine and I had an espresso. I love my coffee and it was really good. Oh and best of all, they had Aperol Spritz coctail! I love Aperol/Campari, but in most places in Dublin they don't serve these drinks so was super excited. Overall experience was great so will definitely be going back there again.

Finally made it to Saba! I had tried to book a weekend night (too late I guess) and it was always booked out. So as I was celebrating something last Monday I decided to book Saba. From Sun to Wed they do a special menu which is very good value. I do think the a la carte is quite expensive however having tasted the food I think I would pay it! I had a starter of squid (cut into chunks) lightly battered, loads of it and really tasty. Followed by a nice prawn curry, fragrant and yummy. My BF had a salmon starter which was quite nice and Massaman chicken. There were lots of other options so I go back for another early week special. Excellent food and service.

I was in Saba with a large group of about 40 last weekend. It was my third time there. Have to say, I'll return to eating there for early-bird and mid-week, as the place was packed and fairly loud last Friday. Great for celebratory atmosphere, but not so good for a couple looking for a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Our starters had been pre-ordered from the set menu, which is great value by the way. Gives you 3 courses for €30 with tea or coffee I think. All the starters were delicious and in a great amount. The veg tempura, fried calamari and chicken satay skewers were particularly wonderful. My main was the hake in banana leaf with red curry sauce, again very tasty but I was quite full after the starters so I only ate about half of it, which was a shame. A decent passionfruit cheesecake dessert and rooibos tea finished the meal very nicely. I didn't drink, but Saba has a divine homemade lemonade which I sipped during the meal. I think Saba is a great option for vegetarians and non-alcohol drinkers as they have a great, wide ranging food & drinks menu. The staff really coped well considering how busy the place was, and how big our group was. I'll be going back, but at half 6 on a Tuesday evening with a friend/husband for a cosy, tranquil experience.
