It's a traditional pub and we ate on the balcony area just a few steps higher than the bar. There was some kind of function in the actual restaurant area downstairs. I had the Mexican Beef Potato Skins to start, taste was fine but presentation was poor (it came wrapped in tin foil) I had the Cajun Chicken Wrap for main course, again, tasted lovely and the presentation was better this time. Dessert was poor (in choice and in flavour and presentation) Service was a bit slow but they did have a crowd in on a Monday night which maybe they didn't expect. Presentation was the biggest issue, for example the teapot was all spattered and stained and could have been wiped down before being brought out. Good for food (except dessert) presentation could be better.
