Stopped here en route to a wedding with a friend who had eaten here before. I had a soup and garlic mushrooms whilst my mate chose a roast pork dinner. Both of us really enjoyed our food and portion size was very good. The staff here were extremely friendly and smiling and helped us with directions to the wedding. The building itself is full of character. If I am in the area again I will eat here.

Really nice stone building. Has a nice bar as well as a restaurant. Had the soup to start, it was proper home made soup, really nice. Had the turkey for main which was very tasty with plenty of everything. Well worth stopping off in for a bite to eat.
